Hotel Rosa Dei Venti in Castelsardo

Good value for money. The room was clean and nice although a little dated. We booked a room with balcony view which turned out to be a mistake - no sign of the view.
The hotel has an underground parking (against fee) and a free parking just 50 meters away down the street.
Breakfast was included in the rate and was worth. There is a summer garden that they use in the summer for guests having breakfast.

Very nice hotel, very clean - no doubts. We were staying here 7 nights, in July so in hot season. Very good location along coast to go left and right - we were driving from here to Alghero, Bosa, Palau. Air condition is in every room. Staff is very friendly and helping. Communication in English without problems. Room was spacious, with very comfortable bed, bathroom was big enough. Every day cleaning, changing towels, bath cosmetics - included. Bed clothes changing every 2-3 days. Large shaded terrace with sunbeds, chairs, coffe table - was a nice surprise. There were balcony dryers available for things like towels. Continental type breakfast - with choice of local cakes, fresh fruits, is maybe a bit boring (the same things on the buffet every day, cheese and ham rather from supermarket then typical Italian). But table was not "overloaded", the staff replenished the products on an ongoing basis, there was no need to wait for anything. Coffe on demand, Italian choice (cappucino, americano, espresso). All served with smile.
Location close to street is acceptable, after one or two days we used to noise of scooters and cars (this is reason why **** for location). They were not disturbing nights, traffic is rather small then. Hotel is close to local "tourist" style restaurants, serving Italian cusine dishes. Walking distance to beach - 3 minuts. We preferred driving 10km west to wild, deserted, long and sandy beach like Bau Bau, or Di Sorso. Hotel offers 2 parkings (under building - paid, or two minutes walk distance, open air - free).
Nice evenings in close Castelsardo, going to restaurants there (we were eating at Al Castello and su Nuraghe - both perfect) - obligatory.

A very decent hotel with a beach just across the street. Good WiFi and breakfasts. My room was a bit dim, but very clean. On another note, the restaurant just next to the hotel is probably the best one in the town.

We liked our stay at the hotel. The people that work there are very nice. The room is complete, everything works, good airconditioning and we could even see the sea while we were not in a sea side room. The breakfast was divers enough and the coffee was really tasty. There is a big parking lot near the hotel that is reserved for hotel guests. Definitely would recommend it :)

Beautiful place with very nice people taking care of you. Near to the beach, great restaurant next door and just a 30 minutes walk to Castelsardo whit it's majestic castle and narrow medieval streets.
I can't wait to return to this place !!!
