Hotel Rocce Sarde in San Pantaleo

Outrageous views delicious dinner. Most of the staff were exceptional. All of the dinner. Staff were phenomenal special shout out to Giacomo Antonio at the bar and another gentleman that I didn’t get his name, but he waited on us often. Laura checked us in at the front desk. She was phenomenal. Anything we needed when it was iron and ironing board. She was right there with it. She would truly went out of her way then she was off for a couple days and let me tell you we really missed her she could train people and how they need to be at the front desk not everyone was a ton of if she was we never were able to get Kleenex in our rooms or the extra blanket that we needed. It seems like somewhat of a language barrier. That’s the only thing why I would give it four instead of five stars but it’s truly a phenomenal beautiful place.

My husband and I loved our stay at this hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. We loved the pool area and really enjoyed our Sardinian evening too. We were very grateful for the excellent air-con too. Thank you all for giving us a much needed break.

Just spent an amazing 2 weeks at this beautiful hotel. Great location, very friendly staff and amazing food. The barman 'Tony' makes the best mojitos! The restaurant staff were very helpful especially Alessandro who was very welcoming and went out of his way to help celebrate our daughter's birthday. Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return one day soon.

Very remote hotel with limited facilities that have seen better days.

We had an amazing experience staying in this hotel for a week—super clean, beautiful garden, friendly staff and very quiet. The room always smelled really fresh. I highly recommend renting a car if you stay here, so you can drive to all the nearby, crystal-clear beaches. The hotel also provides a free shuttle daily, but we personally didn't use it as we had a car. A big shout to Tony the barman, you are amazing. We also had a Sardinian dinner night, which was great, and I highly recommend it.

5 out 5 this hotel was beautiful it’s like it hasn’t changed for years but this just add the quality and experience of the stay. The staff are wonderful and food is outstanding. The views are to die for however I would recommend a car to go visit the beautiful beaches in the area and be able to get out and about.

Stayed here for my girlfriends birthday and we can not speak highly enough of this hotel and our experience staying here.

The staff were amazing and so welcoming and friendly, the reception staff were particularly helpful and made such an effort to make us feel welcome and gave us helpful suggestions such as where to go, how to get a bus into town and even helped me to download an app and book tickets online. This is just a small example of the staff at the Rocce Sarde going above and beyond to make us feel special.

The breakfast was great, it was the same every morning however had a good variety of pastries, cakes, fruit, yoghurt, fresh juices and hot food with a member of staff on hand to make fresh omelette's. They bring you fresh coffee (the cappuccino was 10/10). They also had a little station for a special item every morning which would change daily.

The highlight for me was the setting and location of the hotel. Being up in the mountains the hotel had STUNNING views and the most amazing scenery. The hotel grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Walking around the hotel was a real joy and felt very authentic. Our room had a great balcony where you could sit out and look over the mountains. The pool area was also stunning with lots of foliage and greenery.

The hotel runs a shuttle bus into the nearest town and also to the nearest beach completely free of charge which was great and super convenient. Also lots of parking spaces, however I would 100% say you need a hire car if you are going to stay here as it is quite remote.

The only point of feedback that I can think of for the hotel is that the pool bar was closed anytime we tried to go down, other than this our stay was perfect and I cannot thank the team at the Rocce Sarde enough for making my girlfriends birthday one to remember.

We spent a few unforgettable days at this beautiful, picturesque hotel – it truly felt like something out of a fairytale. We had a spacious suite for three people with a breathtaking view of the mountains and a private terrace to enjoy the sunshine. The breakfast was fantastic, and the evening service was simply outstanding. We had booked the half-board option, which was absolutely worth it – delicious multi-course meals every evening. Salvatore provided exclusive service and made sure everything was perfectly taken care of. He really knows how to pamper guests and even arranged extra tuna tartare and exquisite octopus for us – a true highlight! The dinner featured live music during dinner, including a performance by Giulio Dore, who has an exceptional voice. He sang a Caruso for my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary – a deeply touching moment. His voice truly belongs on an opera stage. Giacomo was also wonderful and surprised us with a lovely wine invitation. The hotel itself is a dream, and the pool area is stunning, beautifully integrated into the natural rock landscape. There’s also a convenient shuttle service to the beach, which is included in the stay. We can’t wait to return – this place is a true gem!
