The service here is nice, the checkin staff are really kind and helpful, the only reason I am giving a one star review is because on the last night of our stay we found a living cockroach in our room. The location is good, close by to different activities, close to the beach and other cities you may wish to visit along your stay. As mentioned the checkin staff are very kind, but one staff member ( possibly due to the language barrier was quite rude ).
The rooms are okay, (apart from the cockroaches) we found the the front door would not close properly. the pool is nice and clean but closes at 8pm ( so not much time to swim if you have been visiting all day ).
I would recommend the hotel, but the cockroach has scared me off from doing that. I wish I could leave a higher review for the kind staff but I am unable to due to this. I am so sorry to the staff for saying this but, if you are planning a visit here and you are scared of cockroaches avoid.
also you have too pay extra for everything, cleaning you room - 40 euros per day, a bed for a small baby - 15 euros per night, swimming pool access and parking - 15 euros, beach towel - 20 euros, for a four star hotel you would expect for these things to be included.
also I must add the wifi is almost non existent, cutting out every few seconds.

Another great stay at Blu modica mare.
The place is well maintained and organised, very close to the beach and pefect for family hols.
We definitely recommend and will return.

Everything was perfect! Lot of attention for cleaning both internal and external areas.
Central position at 200mt from the main beach. Residence is very quite and is perfect for a relaxing holiday with families and little ones.
Staff was just perfect!
The apartments have A/C and are fully furnished with everything you could need for cooking and cleaning.
We will definitely come back there next year!

I’m from the UK, fantastic value for money beautiful pool, so clean and well kept, black out blinds, air con. Very safe environment all gated, staff were so lovely and had great English. Rooms were lovely and clean and had multiple beautiful balconies, and the walk to the beach is about 2 minutes along with cafes icecream shops restaurants and more. They had private showers for when you come back from the beach, not noisy at night just such a lively atmosphere, the reception was also lovely with a toilet for when you’re in the pool, plenty of sun beds.

Nice accommodation, clean. Did want to charge for lots of little extras and it wasn't clear there was a 50 euro final cleaning charge at the end of the stay
