B&B le Stanze di Medea in Palermo

Bad experience!!!!!!!
On June 16, 2022, after having requested information for me and my family directly on the b & b website, from 13 to 18 September 2022, and accepted the quote, I sent an email where I confirmed the reservation while asking how to send the deposit. The property communicated the iban to me and I immediately made the transfer. On 12 September, or the day before departure, as I usually do, I called the facility, introducing myself, to confirm my arrival and the time of my flight; the man who replied to me told me that it was all right waiting for us, it was enough that the next day, once I arrived at the airport, I called him back and he would give me the address of the facility. Punctually, upon my arrival in Palermo, I called the b & b, I went back and asked for confirmation of the address. The man, always the same, told me that he knew who I was because he had saved my number on his cell phone, so he gave me the address. Upon my arrival, around 20:30, I found the man who, citing an apology that was promptly disavowed by the facts, or rather from the emails I had sent and the bank transfer paid, told me that the room was not there !!! He tried to repair the damage by taking us to another b & b where to spend the night but, to my request if the new structure could accommodate us until the end of the holiday, the man replied no, telling us, shrugging, that for the remaining days we had to look for another facility. I was so nervous that, in order not to go to the wrong side, I preferred to have the deposit returned and look for an accommodation myself that could secure my room for the entire stay; ssono be able to find an accommodation, late at night, outside Palermo !!! The next day I had booked a city tour which I obviously missed. Thank you for ruining our stay !!!! What made us really angry, besides of course the ruined living room, was that the man NEVER ASKED AN APOLOGY, and tried to climb mirrors to justify himself! I sincerely hope that my outburst will help not to ruin the holidays for other tourists.
P.S. luckily they only have to manage three rooms….
