Property well located in Ibla, the Old city of Ragusa. Some room in the main building some others dispatched in some other houses. Ours was big, clean, with a nice terrace with view on Ragusa "new" city and the countryside. Recommended.

The property is in an amazing town with much history. The biggest problem is access. We made reservations five months before we arrived and at that time we requested a room on a lower floor, knowing the topography of the town and that some rooms had many steps. My wife and I are not kids but when we arrived, after not being met at the train station as promised we had to carry our bags up about 75-100 steps to our room. The room was large was and clean and after several attempts at resetting the WiFi, we settled in. The hotel appears empty but we could not change rooms. We we’re definitely the only guests left, upon checking out. I would not recommend unless you were guaranteed a room on a lower floor especially if stairs are an issue.

Ragusa was absolutely fabulous and this hotel encapsulated the town’s friendly and hospitable spirit. The room was tastefully decorated with antique furniture and the exposed original bricks give a very authentic and elegant look. Lots of space in the room and many fluffy towels. Giorgio, the owner, and Claudia who welcomed us were extremely friendly and warm as was the kitchen staff. We can’t think of anything we didn’t like and would recommend this hotel to anybody, particularly as it was very good value for money.

Stayed here two nights in March. All the rooms are quite different and spread across the city. We had a small room in an old castle near the restaurant and near the breakfast area. Plan to hike many steps and uneven areas. We loved the old city charm. Choose your room option carefully to match your needs. Staff were terrific and the associated restaurant was fantastic. I would return.

Superb hotel in every respect - clean, beautiful rooms with rustic stone walls and comfortable bedding. Very spacious as well. Staff is remarkably helpful and reponsive. Be warned, though - the hotel is difficult to find; study the geography before you arrive or hire a taxi from the public parking lot.

Very clean. Wifi in the rooms very strong. Breakfast is not bad. There could be a little bit more choice but everything fresh.

Being our first visit to Ragusa we chose Hotel Dell'Orologio based on Trip Advisor reviews. Claudia greeted us warmly and escorted us up a couple of flights of stone, external stairs to our Private Entrance off a huge terrace. The terrace affords us panoramic views of this magical old town. Our gorgeous suite Guccione Mare, has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms; features stunning stone floors, partially exposed stone wall, beautiful tiled bathroom, and is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and exudes an amazing ambiance and warmth. Our breakfast omelette prepared by Vittorio (I think this is the correct name) features fresh ricotta and is so good that I need to learn how to make it. Breakfast also offered local meats, cheeses, breads, conserves, croissants, juice, coffee, fruit. Definitely the best breakfast I had in Sicily. Should we be fortunate enough to visit Ragusa again, I would look no further than Hotel Dell'Orologio. Thank you Georgiou for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful creation, and for your hospitality and that of your excellent staff.

Great staff. Handson owner. The apartment we rent is new. Some day has electricity off but at the end it's well manage from owner. We appreciate his help and recommend this place for future visit
