Hotels with beach in Syracuse

The hotel charges you for water and squeezes out everything they can get. We also requested towels while we were in the jacuzzi and they never arrived. We would recommend that you stay on the island of Ortigia instead

The massages were amazing, and the private beaches, pool and jacuzzi meant we felt no need to leave the resort

Although the onsite restaurant was delicious, the staff were also kind enough to recommend other local restaurants and arrange transport to allow for some variation

The stand out of the trip however, was the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We hope to return again some day!

We could not recommend Minareto more! The room was just as advertised with gorgeous views across the water to Ortigia

While the breakfast was very impressive with fresh local ingredients, we were upset by our sheets having multiple stains upon arrival, strong cleaning odors, and no water being delivered to our room during turn down service

A wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and spacious, elegant rooms. We also had access to their private beach, which was a fantastic bonus—quiet, clean, and truly relaxing

The hotel itself is beautiful, in a great location, and the staff are excellent. They offer a private beach, but it costs $20 per person for the boat ride there and back

While the view of the city from the beach was stunning, the area was not well maintained—the dock was concrete and deteriorating, and the beach didn’t appear groomed

The lunch area was a basic plywood structure, and the food was disappointing. Given how impressive the hotel is, the beach experience felt like a missed opportunity

The boat ride was enjoyable, but it seemed unusual for a hotel of this caliber to charge for it. We were expecting a pristine beach and a nice spot for lunch

Lovely accommodation with a patio and in a great location. The breakfast was included in our stay and offered a variety of items to choose from, it was the best breakfast we had on our month long stay in Sicily

The staff accommodated our need for a quiet ground floor room (my husband sprained both ankles and had very limited mobility). Excellent breakfast and ideal location to explore the town by foot

We highly recommend this small hotel. If you are driving, know the hotel is on a narrow one way street, so you will need your GPS!

The breakfast buffet selection is vast and had quality items with gluten free and dairy free options. Cooked items are also available to order. Staff service was outstanding and they are incredibly helpful

The Clou restaurant serves delicious food and has a large wine list with roof top dining and lovely ambience. Parking is difficult as it’s a restricted zone but the hotel offer valet parking for €50 per night

The hotel is amazing, it is located next to the see and the view from the room is amazing. The roof top bar at the top floor with the restaurant overlook the port and we enjoyed the sunset from there

The location is absolutely fantastic; the balcony offers stunning sunset views. There are many excellent restaurants downstairs. The hotel is bright and elegant, with attentive service

However, there is a vanity and toilet on the second floor. Next time I come, I will consider staying in a hotel or B&B in the old town that is closer to the beach and has a balcony

Absolutely the best hotel in Siracusa! We were upgraded to a sea view loft suite for free! Very large room, harbor view outside the window, clean bedding, luxurious breakfast, and warm service

The room service as well as the friendly reception were excellent,,, Parking was also smooth, The welcome drink was very delicious.

It was formerly a post office and was converted into a sub-brand of Marriott. The room was upgraded to a loft suite. Although it is very spacious, it is a bit useless to go up the stairs to get to the bed

Located in the center of Ortigia, a convenient location for those without a car and forced to walk. Clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Breakfast is offered at a nearby café. The owner is helpful and friendly.

Very close to the market and the bridges from Siracusa. Nice, big rooms with excellent air conditioning. Motorcycles a bit loud from the first floor. No real breakfast available on premises, but numerous options close-by

This property is perfectly placed for sites and restaurants in Ortigia and close to the bridge to the main town of Syracuse. The manager is helpful and communicative. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay near all the action. The owner is highly professional and communicates as he should. I highly recommend!

Also, the property is located in an area where cars are not allowed so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the property

Warning for those with cars, the parking is very limited so I strongly recommend making arrangements before arriving

Quiet and a lovely place to walk around. Old history with the combination youth and old. Coffe and food everywere :) sun rise on one side and sun set with bars and a large portside

We were welcomed by a kind lady with a Sicilian accent who also helped us find parking. This fantastic accommodation certainly made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable

The house is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort: a private bathroom, a shared refrigerator, and an internal courtyard perfect for breakfast

When we were there, the outdoor pool was closed (for the season). The hotel restaurant was also very nice - the breakfast spread was very nice, the lunch and dinner were similarly good. The portion sizes are pretty good

I ended up extending my stay to a full week, enjoying the pool, the gym, and the spa. What can I say — I want to return to Sicily! A special mention goes to the breakfast, where nothing is missing — from sweet to savory

After leaving a hotel that did not meet my expectations, I booked a two-day stay at the Hotel Principe di Fitalia. From the very first moment, I was greeted with a smile and felt the warmth of true Sicilian hospitality

The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, so arriving at night was interesting but not a problem. The hotel is very nice, the spa is the major draw. It is large, well appointed and has many different therapies

Lovely hotel with large natural setting which is very peaceful. The staff are wonderful and the service is top notch. The breakfast bar is really good. You need a vehicle as it's a ten minute drive to Syracuse

We stayed for 3 nights and loved this charming hotel! They gave us a very special, spacious room the first night with a large window facing the sea! Great breakfast with eggs any way you like with excellent cappuccinos! Staff was very helpful

We stayed for one night. The location is incredible and they offer valet parking. Breakfast is good, but you need to order some items, while others are buffet-style.

This is a very elegant hotel, charmingly antique in style. The lobby is warmly decorated, adorned with antiques and displaying gemstone jewelry

Their cappuccino was truly delicious; I once drank three cups (embarrassed 😊). It wasn't that I was greedy, it was just genuinely good

Cleanliness throughout the hotel was top notch (apart from the strange choice of a cream carpet on the landings!) and housekeeping was excellent, even topping up the water level in our lavazza machine! Fresh bed linen and towels daily and whilst the bathroom was rather small it was very well appointed and the marble tiling was simply beautiful

Beautiful hotel in a convenient but quiet area right behind the duomo! The staff was very helpful, especially when I had to ask for advice during a train strike. The room was a nice size and beautifully decorated

The only thing that bothered us is an automatic light that was turning on at night from the mini bar station in the room on your way to the bathroom. The staff was really helpful and deactivated that light when ask

Absolutely amazing hotel - the best we stayed in while in Sicily! Such a contrast to all old-fashioned, overpriced hotels around! The breakfast was delicious - fresh every day prepared to order (not the pre-packed dry biscuits you find elsewhere), service 5 star (went extra mile to ensure we could watch a game we wanted to see), everything modern and high tech

The location is perfect for walking around to take pictures of old streets and sunrise over the sea. Watch out in the shower! Make sure the smaller nozzle is facing down before turning on the water

We had no prior booking and booked there and then at 2300 hours. Rooms bed is wide, firm mattress. Pool/spa not free - about 40 euro PP. Hot breakfast ( omelet can be ordered via app, fresh juices, ham cuts

) but include in the stay price. Roof top with selfcervice bar ( you log into computer what you take)

The bathroom shower leaked all over the floor so we put a towel on the floor. The toilet push button was very finicky The rooms were dated The breakfast was very good Excellent location The staff were very helpful

Strategic location of the hotel a few steps from the bus station, from the station it is very close to the centre. Even though we didn't have a car, we moved around easily, visiting all the attractions

Very close to the bus/train station. It is a short walk to the downtown area. The rooms are decent the air-conditioners work very well. I thought their breakfast was amazing! They do everything they can for you!

The hotel is located in a strategic position, close to the center which can be easily reached on foot, spotlessly clean rooms and always helpful and smiling staff. The terrace where breakfast takes place is beautiful

Myself and my girlfriend stayed her for a short (a few days) trip in Ortigia, and the experience was great. The location is amazing, right on the beachfront near everything, and the staff go above and beyond

The Domus Mariae Albergo was an exceptional find! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in finding parking (an issue in Ortigia), recommending sites to see as well as authentic restaurants patronized by the locals

We weren't the easiest guests im sure, we had many small, but persistent requests and the staff were consistently friendly, and more than happy to meet our requests with grace and enthusiasm

I can't comment on breakfast, as we opted to have brunch at a nearby Bistro, but this is in no way a comment on the breakfasts at the hotel; this is simply how we like to holiday

We got the lockbox code by calling number on the Atrio sign. Everything in Ortigia is 20 minutes’ walk from everything else, it seems, so location was fine for us. Bottom line: I would book here with confidence

Great location and a very spacious room. It was the perfect place for our one-night stay. There is a covered parking lot (Parcheggio Talete) for $15 per 24 hours, just a 10-minute walk from the b&b.

Plug situation for charging phones by the bed is limited, so it’s a good idea to bring a multi-prong plug for the lamps plus your devices. Check-in is via lockbox with your key in it

This is a great location at the Ortigia region of Syracuse, charming but inconvenient if you have a car. You need to have you car taken to a parking place outside of the island (25 euro per day)

Pretty, cosy little B&B near both the beach and the main touristy areas of Ortigia. The room was of a good quality and was affordable.

The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from both the train station and the bus terminal, and about 10 minutes from Ortigia Island. I arrived from Taormina and made a day trip to Noto during my stay

After reading some old and some fairly recent reviews the main conclusion is; they read them, and they, adapt and improve. The room (and hotel in general) was clean

Bed slept really well (my favourite of all hotels we've stayed in at Sicily). The whole bathroom in general was good. It was clean and fixtures were good

The facilities are old, but the hot water was good and the room wasn't cold, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again next time

Actually it's not as bad as the reviews say, it's pretty good. The hotel is right outside the train station, which is seamless and very convenient for people with luggage

Did a quick baggage drop off today and they were simply spectacular when we came back for a bags they offer coffee for free and we were very intentive and we had a bottle of wine that we had brought back and they offered us to use our tables to sit down and dry our wineDefinitely a class act definitely not something I’m used to when you’re directly across the train station

In the morning, you will be served typical italian breakfast and I love the hospitality of the lady in this hotel. about the room is comfortable and enough to stay for 1-2 nights

Great luggage storage option near the train station. The gentleman offered us water and let us hang around the lobby while we waited for our train. Will consider this hotel for our next step.

The hotel is quite difficult to reach by car (Google maps will send you to an alley where it is impossible to turn or maneuver), so it is best to leave the car in the nearby Piazza Federico di Svevia and arrange for a very convenient valet with the hotel

We spent a night at this beautiful hotel and loved it! The hotel is located in a pedestrianized part of the island, just a 2 minute walk from where you can get dropped off by car or taxi

Only detracting factors are that the room was a bit dark (the hotel is in a narrow alley), and that the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is a bit inconvenient at night

Beautiful rooms and excellent quality products! An easy walk to the center of Ortigia itself, as well as to the Castello Maniace (which is a must visit in itself)

Very healthy breakfast with lots of chives and fresh pastries. They have a valet service to park your car when you stay. Also a small terrace roof to have breakfast or just sit. I did yoga there in the morning

It is well marked, but you have to find the 2 buzzers next to the big wooden door, and press the bottom button to get buzzed in. We loved it and would stay there again

While my work was in Ortigia, the Hotel was off the island while being close enough for a short walk every day as well. Having read some of the other reviews, I feel some things should be said

They made sure that I understood all the entrance and exit rules for after hours and checked regularly to make sure that my needs were met. My room was small but perfect for this type of trip

The bathroom was clean and working well with plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and the wardrobe was plenty large enough to accommodate my clothing. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place

Second, the staff speak some English, but not much, but neither should anyone expect that they would. This is Sicily, they speak Italian or Sicilian. If you come here, you would benefit from learning some of the language

In spite of that, the staff still works to help you. Third, the shower has low pressure at times and the heat isn't always that hot (not an issue when it's 30+ degrees outside), but it is a very nice shower and bathroom
