This hotel had the best fragrance and it was always nice coming back after having been outside to their pleasant smell from their fragrance sticks. We ended up buying the same one as a memory from Sicily

The staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and ready to help with anything you need, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is special, and the music in the hotel creates a unique vibe

Sitting on the amazing terrace enjoying their breakfast buffet and being able to order from a menu which is included is absolutely fantastic! Carmello and the staff are so attentive, kind and fun

At times it even feels like being inside a poetic line — “Your lips, two petals, All the diamonds. ” Elegant, relaxing, and truly memorable. A place you will definitely want to return to

I picked this hotel because of its location and my mom’s limited walking. I splurged more than I could afford but it was definitely worth it. Everything about this hotel is great

The hotel charges you for water and squeezes out everything they can get. We also requested towels while we were in the jacuzzi and they never arrived. We would recommend that you stay on the island of Ortigia instead

The massages were amazing, and the private beaches, pool and jacuzzi meant we felt no need to leave the resort

Although the onsite restaurant was delicious, the staff were also kind enough to recommend other local restaurants and arrange transport to allow for some variation

The stand out of the trip however, was the amazing staff who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We hope to return again some day!

We could not recommend Minareto more! The room was just as advertised with gorgeous views across the water to Ortigia

While the breakfast was very impressive with fresh local ingredients, we were upset by our sheets having multiple stains upon arrival, strong cleaning odors, and no water being delivered to our room during turn down service

Lovely accommodation with a patio and in a great location. The breakfast was included in our stay and offered a variety of items to choose from, it was the best breakfast we had on our month long stay in Sicily

The staff accommodated our need for a quiet ground floor room (my husband sprained both ankles and had very limited mobility). Excellent breakfast and ideal location to explore the town by foot

Strategic position for those who want to visit the archaeological area well, do not be afraid of the building because the interior of the b & b is something else entirely

Well structured rooms, organized with all comforts, mini fridge and air conditioning, if you want you can also stay on the balcony

However, there is a vanity and toilet on the second floor. Next time I come, I will consider staying in a hotel or B&B in the old town that is closer to the beach and has a balcony

Absolutely the best hotel in Siracusa! We were upgraded to a sea view loft suite for free! Very large room, harbor view outside the window, clean bedding, luxurious breakfast, and warm service

It was formerly a post office and was converted into a sub-brand of Marriott. The room was upgraded to a loft suite. Although it is very spacious, it is a bit useless to go up the stairs to get to the bed

The pool area and view are lovely. Great service at the pool too with towels already on the loungers and service to your lounger. The pool food menu is very limited however

This hotel is fantastic! The room was so clean, has in room tea facilities and quality toiletries. There’s many towels, slippers and dressing gowns

The breakfast buffet selection is vast and had quality items with gluten free and dairy free options. Cooked items are also available to order. Staff service was outstanding and they are incredibly helpful

The Clou restaurant serves delicious food and has a large wine list with roof top dining and lovely ambience. Parking is difficult as it’s a restricted zone but the hotel offer valet parking for €50 per night

The hotel is amazing, it is located next to the see and the view from the room is amazing. The roof top bar at the top floor with the restaurant overlook the port and we enjoyed the sunset from there

We stayed for 3 nights and loved this charming hotel! They gave us a very special, spacious room the first night with a large window facing the sea! Great breakfast with eggs any way you like with excellent cappuccinos! Staff was very helpful

We stayed for one night. The location is incredible and they offer valet parking. Breakfast is good, but you need to order some items, while others are buffet-style.

This is a very elegant hotel, charmingly antique in style. The lobby is warmly decorated, adorned with antiques and displaying gemstone jewelry

The front desk staff were helpful and offered to change our room, but we felt that changing rooms didn't guarantee there wouldn't be mosquitoes, so we got some electric mosquito repellent

The hotel is quite difficult to reach by car (Google maps will send you to an alley where it is impossible to turn or maneuver), so it is best to leave the car in the nearby Piazza Federico di Svevia and arrange for a very convenient valet with the hotel

We spent a night at this beautiful hotel and loved it! The hotel is located in a pedestrianized part of the island, just a 2 minute walk from where you can get dropped off by car or taxi

Only detracting factors are that the room was a bit dark (the hotel is in a narrow alley), and that the bathroom on a different floor than the bedroom is a bit inconvenient at night

Beautiful rooms and excellent quality products! An easy walk to the center of Ortigia itself, as well as to the Castello Maniace (which is a must visit in itself)

When we were there, the outdoor pool was closed (for the season). The hotel restaurant was also very nice - the breakfast spread was very nice, the lunch and dinner were similarly good. The portion sizes are pretty good

After leaving a hotel that did not meet my expectations, I booked a two-day stay at the Hotel Principe di Fitalia. From the very first moment, I was greeted with a smile and felt the warmth of true Sicilian hospitality

The hotel is in the middle of the countryside, so arriving at night was interesting but not a problem. The hotel is very nice, the spa is the major draw. It is large, well appointed and has many different therapies

Lovely hotel with large natural setting which is very peaceful. The staff are wonderful and the service is top notch. The breakfast bar is really good. You need a vehicle as it's a ten minute drive to Syracuse

The staff was great and very helpful. The location was perfect for shopping and dining, people watching and sightseeing. The hotel is very charming with an eclectic array of art everywhere

The location of the hotel on Ortega itself is fabulous and you are totally spoilt for choice of restaurants, cafes, bars, market and gelato shops with everything in walking distance We had a truly wonderful week and the unique nature of the hotel and its lovely staff greatly contributed to making it a memorable and enjoyable trip for us

What a great stay at the Charme. Staff were wonderful the hotel is beautiful the room excellent and the terrace is a wonderful place to just sit and look over the sea. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly

Vincenzo is a great and very warm host always ready to help. You will need a car but it is an excellent location. Quiet, spacious rooms excellent pool but only 15min away from the parkings on the edge of the old town

With a car Syracuse is 10/15 minutes, Noto as well, Vendicari beach, Avola, all close places!

Probably 20 miles from Saracusa, And that is what the issue is: If you drive to the property, no problem at all. But if you take a taxi, be prepared to exist on only the breakfast that they offer

So if you take a taxi you're going to have to be very imaginative about how to eat for the rest of the day. Even if you drive, you're looking at a significant drive into town to find a normal restaurant or bar

Amazing place for a holiday. The swimming pool is great to spend the day chilling. The rooms are clean and the host is very friendly. The area is calm. Parking outside is available on th street at all times.

The location is excellent, about 5 minutes from both the train station and the bus terminal, and about 10 minutes from Ortigia Island. I arrived from Taormina and made a day trip to Noto during my stay

After reading some old and some fairly recent reviews the main conclusion is; they read them, and they, adapt and improve. The room (and hotel in general) was clean

Bed slept really well (my favourite of all hotels we've stayed in at Sicily). The whole bathroom in general was good. It was clean and fixtures were good

The facilities are old, but the hot water was good and the room wasn't cold, so I was very satisfied. I would like to stay again next time

This is a really special hotel overlooking the sea. It has real character and warmth, far removed from the anodyne typical hotel

Centrally located with long term parking only 200m away. They will register your car for access to the ZTL zones avoiding fines. Good sized clean rooms with large bathrooms and great showers

Cleanliness throughout the hotel was top notch (apart from the strange choice of a cream carpet on the landings!) and housekeeping was excellent, even topping up the water level in our lavazza machine! Fresh bed linen and towels daily and whilst the bathroom was rather small it was very well appointed and the marble tiling was simply beautiful

The only thing that bothered us is an automatic light that was turning on at night from the mini bar station in the room on your way to the bathroom. The staff was really helpful and deactivated that light when ask

Actually it's not as bad as the reviews say, it's pretty good. The hotel is right outside the train station, which is seamless and very convenient for people with luggage

Did a quick baggage drop off today and they were simply spectacular when we came back for a bags they offer coffee for free and we were very intentive and we had a bottle of wine that we had brought back and they offered us to use our tables to sit down and dry our wineDefinitely a class act definitely not something I’m used to when you’re directly across the train station

In the morning, you will be served typical italian breakfast and I love the hospitality of the lady in this hotel. about the room is comfortable and enough to stay for 1-2 nights

Very close to the market and the bridges from Siracusa. Nice, big rooms with excellent air conditioning. Motorcycles a bit loud from the first floor. No real breakfast available on premises, but numerous options close-by

This property is perfectly placed for sites and restaurants in Ortigia and close to the bridge to the main town of Syracuse. The manager is helpful and communicative. The apartment was spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay near all the action. The owner is highly professional and communicates as he should. I highly recommend!

Also, the property is located in an area where cars are not allowed so be prepared to walk with your luggage to the property

Absolutely amazing hotel - the best we stayed in while in Sicily! Such a contrast to all old-fashioned, overpriced hotels around! The breakfast was delicious - fresh every day prepared to order (not the pre-packed dry biscuits you find elsewhere), service 5 star (went extra mile to ensure we could watch a game we wanted to see), everything modern and high tech

The location is perfect for walking around to take pictures of old streets and sunrise over the sea. Watch out in the shower! Make sure the smaller nozzle is facing down before turning on the water

We had no prior booking and booked there and then at 2300 hours. Rooms bed is wide, firm mattress. Pool/spa not free - about 40 euro PP. Hot breakfast ( omelet can be ordered via app, fresh juices, ham cuts

) but include in the stay price. Roof top with selfcervice bar ( you log into computer what you take)

This is the only bed and breakfast close tot Ortigia with direct access to the sea. Breakfast is freshly made by Claudia and family. The personal approach and lunch/diner/activitys tips were the best

I can’t say enough amazing things about this spot. You have a big balcony literally hanging over the ocean. The breakfast is amazing, and you get to sit overlooking the Mediterranean. The villa is clean and beautiful

My wife became ill during our trip unfortunately and Sabrina called the hospital for us, offered to give us a ride if we needed one, gave us ibuprofen and other OTC meds that really helped a lot

It’s an absolutely amazing place!! A great location: quiet but still close to the center ~25 minutes on foot, it is built in a rock and faces the sea, a view from a room is spectacular

It’s possible to swim here as well: just go down and it’s a direct entrance to the sea though you need to have shoes to be able to walk on a rock (they are also available in the hotel)

The hotel also can arrange a sun-bed on a rock for you. Breakfast is great, though, the time when it’s ready can vary: fruits are available at 8:00 and hot dishes arrive by 8:30- 9:00

Great location and friendly staff. Just couple mins walk to the coast and beaches. The furiture is old yet the room is tidy, spacious, well maintained.

The hotel has an excellent location in the city - near the shore - and also near to many restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and clean. The area leading to our room was very pretty with colorful flowers nearby

Stairs are not my friend and even though there is no elevator they had a ground floor apt for me. It’s an historic building and area thoughtfully cared for which speaks to my heart

With the windows closed, you can still hear the noise, but it’s not as loud. It’s possible to sleep in the morning and evening

This is a comfortable boutique hotel in Syracusa walking distance from the train and the old town. We had a well appointed room with twin beds. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety of food

Quiet and a lovely place to walk around. Old history with the combination youth and old. Coffe and food everywere :) sun rise on one side and sun set with bars and a large portside

We were welcomed by a kind lady with a Sicilian accent who also helped us find parking. This fantastic accommodation certainly made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable
