Loved this hotel across from Ortigia in Siracusa. Modern and classic with great views and swimming options. Loved the lounges overlooking the sea. Room was luxurious and well appointed.

It’s a few Kilometres out of the town so would need to drive / taxi / boat taxi into Siracusa / Ortigia which is approx 15 mins! Overall service was good overall, however, there is also a few downside: It's about 15 mins from town, and there is nothing around the resort. You will be looking at 40 euro one way to go to town. This hotel is fantastic! The room was so clean, has in room tea facilities and quality toiletries. There’s many towels, slippers and dressing gowns. First time in Syracuse and this hotel perfectly met our needs in terms of facilities and location. It’s expensive - especially for the sea view rooms, but they are very nice and the view is lovely from them. I would use this hotel again if staying in Syracuse.

A wonderful hotel with excellent service, beautiful decor, and spacious, elegant rooms. We also had access to their private beach, which was a fantastic bonus—quiet, clean, and truly relaxing. Our only regret was staying just one night at the Grand Hotel Ortigia. We’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Highly recommend.

The hotel is by itself a nice scene in the countryside Sicilie. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by field. Not very far from the city by car. The facilities are either new or well maintained. The service can be offered in English and the stuffs are professional and kind. We enjoyed the Sun a lot in the afternoons outside next to the pool.

Nice Stay Family of four adults staying in one room. It is an older hotel and you have to drive past a depressed area, but the staff was nice, the room adequate and dinner and the breakfast was good.

We stayed here for four nights on our trip around Sicily. They have a large pool that was very refreshing since it was hot. It's a bit out of the way but an easy taxi ride to anywhere you want to go. I recommend Ortigia Island for the shopping, sights and restaurants.

Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We had problems with the car hire and they went above and beyond to help. I am 80 years old and this is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The location is amazing, right on the beachfront near everything, and the staff go above and beyond. We had a great stay in Domus hotel. The hotel is located right on the waterfront. Our room faces the ocean. When we opened the balcony door, we saw ocean in front of our eyes and our hearts sang! Our host Cynthia is so friendly. She goes out of her way to help us.

The Domus Mariae Albergo was an exceptional find! The staff was friendly and extremely helpful in finding parking (an issue in Ortigia), recommending sites to see as well as authentic restaurants patronized by the locals. The room was clean, the linens crisp and bathroom well appointed. We will stay here again when next in Siracusa!
