Very central. Quiet and a lovely place to walk around. Old history with the combination youth and old. Coffe and food everywere :) sun rise on one side and sun set with bars and a large portside. If you font mind cliffs you can take a ocean dipp in the morning. :)

Ok
Room in old town Ortiga so you have to give some leeway to the age. Great location to explore this beautiful city! Ok beds, no windows and AC is just ok. Bathroom renovated and good. Common area coffee machine. Fridge in room just ok. So i guess just ok. Ok?

The room was reasonably clean and comfortable, but unfortunately, there were no windows (not even in the bathroom). The building was noisy. No breakfast. The value for money was poor.

It was very convenient to get around, being located in a cozy alley with excellent accessibility to a beach for swimming, cafes, restaurants, and a tourist parking lot.

Even though the window in the room was small, the high ceiling, air conditioning, and the terrace in front of the door made it feel spacious and not stuffy at all.

What was even better than these advantages was the kindness of the host. As a lively and friendly local, we had a great time communicating, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories!

The only downside was that the Wi-Fi inside the room wasn't reliable, so I had to use it on the terrace outside the door. However, if you are traveling all day, I don't think it will be a big issue. You can even do a digital detox, haha! Buon viaggio a Ortigia tutto! Già manca qui ☺️

A necessary premise for anyone looking to book: this is NOT a 3-star hotel as advertised on Google. It's a B&B... and in my humble opinion, not even a particularly decent one. I stayed there for 6 days. So my room (and I'm only speaking for my own) absolutely didn't have the balcony advertised, because what I had was simply a shared walkway, used by other guests. Not to mention the window in the room... I've never seen such a small window (and it only overlooked the courtyard... ZERO light in the room... day and night made no difference) and the windowless bathroom with no bidet, but a shower over the toilet for rinsing. The furnishings are a bit out of place... the bed has a mattress I won't even begin to explain. I would say I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this property... even though the building itself is very beautiful and convenient for accessing the nearby seaside solariums. Obviously, I'm not hiding behind a keyboard... I've already informed the owner of everything. I hope he renovates the premises a bit and fixes the advert on the internet.

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful property, right in the center of Ortigia. The house is tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort: a private bathroom, a shared refrigerator, and an internal courtyard perfect for breakfast. We were welcomed by a kind lady with a Sicilian accent who also helped us find parking. This fantastic accommodation certainly made our stay in Sicily even more enjoyable. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this property.

A very nice hotel. We stayed in one of the deluxe spa suites. The organic breakfast was quite good and there were vegan options including vegan croissants! The staff were nice.

This is a lovely hotel. It seems to be spread across a couple buildings. Public spaces are nice and the restaurant is a large comfy space... good thing too because there are a lot of people staying in this hotel. We had a great room with a lot of space and quite incredibly, a private roof top patio. Staff is very nice. Great location in Ortigia on the eastern side where you're still in the thick of things but not so much racket from cars and such. This hotel is highly rated for a reason. It's a very good, very comfortable hotel in an excellent location, at a great price.

Mixed feelings about our stay there as follows: The location is great--pretty much right on the water. Breakfast is fine, although you should try to get there early as it seems the hotel does not replenish things once they run out. While the staff was professional, they did not seem particularly warm or outgoing. As for our room, while it was spacious and quite comfortable, it was on the ground floor, and the only window was so high up it was impossible to look out of. If you want a room with a window you can look out of, make sure they don't place you in a ground floor room.

This is a lovely hotel in Ortigia. Location is super convenient and the staff is very responsive and accommodating. We never stayed in Ortigia when we lived in Sicily 13 years ago but now wish we had.

When using GPS to drive to the hotel, DO NOT USE GOOGLE MAPS. The route Google tries to take you is not the best way and will have you driving down very narrow streets.

Both Apple Maps and Waze both had a different route that was much easier to drive. Highly recommend using either of those two apps instead of Google Maps.

We will definitely stay here if we make a return trip to Ortigia.

Great location, charming hotel. Furniture and amenities could use some updating. Decent breakfast. For 30 Euros a day parking, it was inconvenient to require 1 hour's notice for valet pickup. We were disappointed by the checkout process; checkout was at 11 AM and we received phone calls to our room at 10:50 AM, 10:55 AM rushing us out; we left at 11:02 AM and received another phone call scolding us. Expensive for what it was.
