We absolutely love this place! It’s the highlight of our 3 weeks trip in Italy, and of 2025.
The place is very peaceful and beautiful, a perfect break after a visit at busy Florence. Room is comfy and everywhere you look is like a picture. Erminio’s cooking is outstanding, so authentic and delicious we cancelled another dinner reservation just so we can eat here one more night. We’re lucky enough to have a pasta cooking class of our own on a rainy day, had lunch with our super friendly hosts.
It’s places like this brings you closer to the local culture and people, and reminds you the beauty of travel.

We had an awesome dinner at Le Canterie! The host was super caring and passionate, chatting with us about the menu and the fresh, local ingredients they used. It felt like dining with friends! If you’re around, you’ve got to check this place out for a really special meal.

Lovely place to stay. The a la carte dinner service is excellent with unique local ingredients and good quality food plus great views at the tables. Dinner available every night except Wednesdays (or when there is a wedding). Breakfast is available from 8:30-10am for 15€, with yogurt, granola, fruit, fresh pastries and baked goods, fresh bread, and eggs available plus coffee (no espresso) and teas. You can keep leftovers in the fridge in your room. Each room has a small outdoor area with a table and chairs. No daily house keeping service or AC. WiFi worked pretty well throughout the property (except by the pool). Hot water in the bathroom. Rooms were quiet, could leave the windows open to hear the birds and cicadas.

What an incredible experience at Le Canterie! We were fortune to have dinner at this beautiful place during our time in Tuscany. From the amazing hospitality and delicious meals, this place should be on everyone's bucket list. It's a hidden gem and will be a highlight of our trip!

Lovely place! Stayed for 3 nights and had dinner, everything was high quality and enjoyable. Close by you find a small village that is very well maintained. A beautiful part of Tuscany.

This is an incredible place to stay - off the beaten track and so quiet and peaceful. The accommodation, food and facilities were top notch but what really made this place was the welcome we all received (couple with 5 year old). We felt so relaxed and welcome there. The hosts couldn't have made this place any nicer and I can't recommend staying here enough. I'm purposely not giving lots of details because there is a huge amount of joy in discovering and experiencing Le Canterie firsthand! Just make sure you eat at the restaurant if you stay here, it is not to be missed!

Fantastic place
Great place, calm and relaxing. Great owners, felt like at home, with fantastic lasagna and generally very local and delicious food. Logistically fantastic location since one can travel different directions to small and big cities, nature, sea and not very far from Pisa airport (2 h drive).

We hosted our wedding at Le Canterie. From the first phone call, we felt the connection and energy of Lucia and Erminio, We visited in December just to see the venue and taste the menu. The food was amazing. People say weddings are stressful but ours was easy, Le Canterie was perfect. Now we feel like part of the Le Canterie family. There was so much love. It was a magical event and will live in our hearts for the whole of our lives. I could not have wished for something so perfect

What a gem, tucked away in the hilly Tuscany landscape ! We rented the entire Le Canterie for a 5-day family event with 17 persons, aged 8-80. From the chilled welcome-drink to the farewell we were spoiled by Lucia’s & Erminio’s (and their staff) hospitality, We had some great days, spent around the spectacular pool and the long table for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a daily dinnershow when Erminio presentend and explained the different dishes on the meny multilingually, body language included. And when it came up to the table, it was so delicious and tasteful. Everything was so easy-going and we really felt ourselves at home. One of the days we had our own cooking day in the outdoor kitchen and Lucia and Erminio helped us stuffing the fridge and getting the best grill from the neighbourhood. Thanks for your effort, this was meant to be your resting day. We really loved our stay with you, and be assured, even if the entire family can’t gather, you will meet parts of us in the future. One suggestion: Try to figure out kind of handrail to facilitate in and out of the pool for elderly people.
