Hotel London in Viareggio

We've been staying at Hotel London for Carnevale, Feb '26. The hotel is perfectly located on the promenade, although it does mean you have to buy a ticket during your stay to access the hotel, which was fine in our case as we came especially for it. The carnevale can be seen from the window but it does not pass directly outside the building.
The hotel rooms are perfectly fine, a little outdated in the decor perhaps but have very comfy and clean rooms. The windows have large shuttered and heavy duty seals to block out the light and noise from the main road below.
The hotel's reception has been very attentive and accessible ahead of our stay. And when we arrived early were happy to look after our bags before check-in. The breakfast has a wide choice of options, cooked, continental and a large selection of pastries and goodies. Great location for the beach, shops, restaurants and all Viareggio has to offer.

Clean rooms, excellent facilities and very good breakfast food.

We stayed there for four days. It is an excellent hotel and the staff was great from the reception to the cleaning staff. Perla who was there for breakfast always had a smile and very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was fresh with a large variety. The rooms were clean and spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location. 100 m to the beach. Friendly staff. Quiet. Good beds. Wifi good. Hard to find a parkingspace.

Only bad thing is that the windows dont have mosquito nets. My room and the hotel in general was invaded by them and respectively I didnt sleep much...

I have stayed in Hotel London many times for work and it is a good hotel with good pricing.

Good location for a short stay
Two night stay so thst we could visit Pisa and Lucca. Room was next to lift shaft, so quite noisy. Shower was positioned in the middle of the bath (probably because the plumbing could not be accommodated at the end of the bath due to the lift shaft) which meant water went everywhere. Walls are thin, so you can hear whats going on next door, and down stairs.
The location is good for getting around the area, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel along the promenade in Viareggio. Nice clean room and polite staff. Lots to choose from for breakfast. Only a 15 minute walk from the train station. Would definitely return.

Good option for stop over in Viareggio. Hotel is on a lively beach promenade. Breakfast was plentiful and good.
