Nice people and lovely quiet place. In the middle of the country side of Tuscany. Big private swimming pool, real asset to refresh yourself after visits and treks in the summer.

If you are looking for a place to "immerse yourself" in Tuscany, this is the right place .... isolated in the countryside with all the services, the staff is very welcoming. You are in the center for a few trips between Siena Pisa and the surrounding valleys. But if you don't feel like moving, there's still a swimming pool. Highly recommended!!!! I could go back ... maybe by motorbike .....

Escaia does not offer any services, the Internet does not work and it is far from the cities of San Geminiano and Volterra. On the structure a very beautiful rustic house (but poorly maintained) a panorama of peace and relaxation, very small bathroom it is almost impossible to take a shower. A place with potential but at this moment does not offer the basic comfort services for a vacation. Pity.

Incredible pool, clean grounds and accommodations, and very friendly family who know the area extremely well. Must try if interested in exploring the area.
