shaving kit, toothpaste and toothbrush not provide but overall is ok. From the ACTV station to the hotel need to walk around 10minute, If the one with big luggage need to walk across approximately 5 staircase but it is very near with the piazza san marco.

No air conditioning! So hot! The room never cooled off. Couldn’t keep windows open due to risk of birds getting in the room.
Lowest bed I’ve ever experienced.
Staff was great. Water taxi pickup on checkout day was great! Private transportation services can’t use their dock, only companies the hotel arranges.
Breakfast hours started late for tourist with early tours.

Grumpy staff. Overpriced Room shabby, grubby, paint peeling in bathroom, no king bed, just 2 thin mattresses pushed together.

My stay in Venice was very pleasant, and this hotel was the cherry on top. Everything was great: cleanliness, service, breakfast, and decor.

Perfectly located in the hear of Venice. 5 minutes walking distance to main attractions in Venice (San Marco). Authentic rooms add a charm to the experience in Venice. The breakfastis good but very basic (limited options).
The only inconvenience is that it is difficult to reach from the train station (water taxis/shuttles are so expensive, and Vaporetto service is
terrible (very crowded) .. but these are not related specifically to the hotel but the whole San Marco area..

Bedroom smelled bad
The hotel room smelled so bad. It was a mix of old carpet and old curtains and mist. It gave us allergies.
The breakfast was not a 4 stars breakfast, very few options.

Perfect location - easy to access, close to everything, but on a quiet street. The hotel is beautiful. The breakfast is perfect to set you up for the day. All of the staff were lovely and very accommodating. We really enjoyed our visit. The location of Hotel Kette made everything so simple. Top of our list of we ever get to visit Venice again.

Gorgeous old style hotel, lovely spacious rooms, ours had a view out onto the old venetian street and nearby canal. Old style decor, very friendly staff. Breakfast is basic but nice, location is excellent, less than 4mins from San Marco Square

This hotel had such great reviews. I was really looking forward to my stay. The location was great. Very nice area and the ac worked well. However the wifi is horrible, and the rooms are so small.

Very nice for me in this hotel that was a great value for money. I booked directly on their website a single room but got a double spacious one at check-in (with a double bed, a couch and a bathroom with bathtub!) for a very good price incl breakfast. Hotel is very quiet, WiFi works great (videocalls for work) and AC does a good job.

Absolutely the perfect place where to stay if visiting Venice!
The hotel is very well located: right next to the "Vaporetto" boat stop, which allows you to easily move around Venice and reach various locations but also next to a lot of shops, restaurants and cultural places, and the main local attractions are easily reachable by a short walk.
The hotel itself is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood, but what makes this place special is definitely the rooftop: it offers the possibility to relax on comfortable couches while enjoying an amazing view of Venice, especially if in the evening, at sunset time, it is very beautiful!
The staff was professional and kind and available to help at any moment of the day.
The only little issue was the shower in the room, which was very small and not so convenient to use.
Apart from this little issue everything was absolutely amazing, and would totally recommend to anyone who wants to have a good time in a beautiful city such as Venice!

Great location close to San Marco square and steps from a vaporetto stop. Good breakfast and cordial staff. The room had everything we needed, including mosquito-repellent wipes which were much appreciated.

Very nice hotel with a great location. The staff is very polite, the rooms are clean and, at least the one I chose (Deluxe Double Room), of good size. Very clean bathroom with tons of towels (p.s.: I've never seen towels that dry you up so fast as the ones they have 😅).
Good breakfast and the hotel also has a very nice terrace. Too bad it's only opened between 10.00 AM-10.00 PM. I think people use it either when drinking their coffee in the morning (so before 10AM), if they want some privacy, either after getting back to the hotel, at night (so after 21.30-10 PM). But I guess I can understand it (so that the other customers don't get bothered). So we only got to use it once in the 2 nights stay.
