My flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it!

The location is perfect, very easy to find and just steps from San Marco. The room is quite large, especially for Venice. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable (I'd love to buy a similar pillow, but I forgot to ask about the model), and the room is warm – a steady 23°C, which is important when you come in from the cold outside. The bathroom is large, with a decent-sized shower. A complimentary bottle of water, coffee capsules, tea, and a couple of hot chocolate packets are provided daily.
The breakfast is simple, but hearty. You can ask for a bacon scrambled eggs.
The hotel has an elevator, which was important to us.
The staff is friendly, but a bit laid-back – one day they forgot to finish cleaning our room.
They left a trash can on a chair, cleaning spray and a cloth on another, and forgot to change the towels. It's as if they started cleaning, got distracted, and forgot to come back and finish.
But it was more funny than it was offensive.
Besides, we stayed at the hotel for almost a week, and such an incident only happened once. And it really was funny.
I highly recommend the hotel.

Very well located near San Marcos Piazza, the Bascilica and Doge Palace. Easy to walk to Rialto Bridge or San Marcos vaporetto station as well. However, the triple room which I booked, does not have even flooring, so it does make me a little dizzy. But it was ok once I’m on the bed. The hotel has a strange rule to collect a copy of the credit card for guarantee.i thought such process may be subject to credit card fraud risk. Overall, I’m still happy with this hotel at the price point for its location.

Well maintained, clean, comfortable rooms at a reasonable price point. Location can't be beat -- only a couple minutes walk from Piazza San Marco.
Staff is super friendly. Only downside was that the [included] breakfast buffet was a pretty mediocre and exactly the same every single day with no variation (and scrambled eggs were dry).

Perfectly located, I rate the staff 10/10 for professionalism,friendliness and politeness. They take time to explain and show you whatever is it you need to know. Stayed here on a business trip, easy to get in and out, satisfied with the breakfast, and two bottles of water were provided in the room every day.

I traveled alone with my 11-year-old son, and the entire accommodation experience was very good. Since I had a very busy schedule every day, my requirements for accommodation were a large bed, quiet, odor-free, convenient showering, and convenient washing of small items of clothing (shorts, socks, etc.). This room basically met my needs. The hotel is very close to Piazza San Marco (a 5-minute walk) and has a lovely balcony. If you don't want to turn on the air conditioning at night, you can open the windows. The breakfast is very good (I am currently on a sugar control diet, so I only eat sugar-free yogurt, tomatoes, cucumbers, cereal and ham. The coffee is good, and there is a water machine that can dispense fruity but unsweetened mineral water, which is great 😎 There is also a secret level - if you need orange juice and scrambled eggs and bacon, you can ask the waiter separately). The downside is that there is no water dispenser

We had a short but very comfortable stay at Albergo San Marco.
The location is absolute prime, 50m from the heart of Venezia.
The service was impeccable in every aspect (loved the kind attention the housekeeper had for our little girl) and the rooms are tastefully renovated.
