Hotel Città di Milano in Venice

Although the hotel advertises a 24-hour front desk, it's closed and locked at 8 PM (as I heard from a passerby). This information wasn't listed, so I arrived at 11 PM and couldn't get in. The entrance is in a dimly lit alleyway, so being a woman alone and unable to get in was extremely scary and I felt like my life was in danger. There was a sign on the door with three phone numbers to call, but I was traveling overseas and only had a plan without an eSIM. I had no choice but to call internationally using the default line. It was a real nuisance. I called the numbers in ascending order, and the second one that connected was the one that connected. They told me to meet them at a different hotel, but Venice's winding alleys and unreliable GPS signals made it impossible to find. When I explained I didn't know the way, they finally told me to wait while they sent someone to help me. They should have listed the alternate entrance from the beginning. I was terrified while waiting. The room was dimly lit, making it unsuitable for women to apply makeup. The only amenity provided was shampoo. Overall I don't recommend it.

The room we received was not a quadruple but a very narrow double adapted to a quadruple.

The location is very difficult to find. It's in a corner alley. There was no one at the front desk after 10 o'clock in the evening. After waiting for about ten minutes, I dragged my suitcase to another building a five-minute walk away to go through the formalities... and then dragged it back to check in. ... The house is old and crowded, and the suitcases cannot be spread out, and the supporting facilities are not as good as the most basic quilts in a B&B... The bathroom door is still broken, and the shower water flows all over the floor... The most annoying thing is that the hotel has a bad attitude and no coordination at all. I asked for a payment receipt on the last day, but refused to negotiate with me for a long time before reluctantly letting me take photos and archive them to persuade me to quit! Discourage! Discourage! (Fortunately, Ctrip’s customer service attitude is very good and willing to help with coordination)
