Palazzo la Scala in Venice

Room is so small i ran into ny self Actually 1 ft around bed and furniture. Bathroom was ok But for the price, woukd not do it again

This hotel is like a building of rooms. No front desk. The main hotel with front desk, bar breakfast etc. So the building of rooms feels like your in an outhouse. The view is of the wall. The staff treated me rude. I have cancer and was not feeling well that morning and wanted to just come down grab toast to take my to my room to take my medicine with. The lady came over and yelled at me & scolded me with her finger. Ok I am a guest here all you had to do was nice explain you cant leave the table with food. Even though the white lady beside me was wrapping up the whole table of food. 3 napkins worth and left all 3 napkins full of food sitting on the table while she ate from her plate and i know they saw it when they were coming over collecting her dirty plates and said NOTHING. The next day still not feeling well and i figure i would go talk to the front desk and surly when I explain my situation they will be ok with me taking a piece of toast upstairs. NOPE. every said no then front desk had told the waitress because by the time I got there she had the nerve to ask me for my purse before a sat down to eat like I am a thief. I was a paying guest. I was not there to take food I was there to find at least one decent person that would understand my situation. The way they treated me was disgusting. If your a woman of color you might not want to stay here.

My fiance and I, booked this hotel after reviews game this 4 stars on the site. upon arrival to this "hotel," l, it was immediately obvious this was not the case. the lobby's AC unit was leaking, a puddle was expanding on the floor by the minute, mold on the walls. There is actually not even a hotel staff member manning the desk at Palazzo La Scala. It is the side shack of an actual hotel, Hotel Bella Venezia, around the corner. We had to wait for someone from thst hotel to even let us into the building, as Hotwire neglected to provide this information. The room was small, dirty and also in disrepair, with cabinet doors hanging off the hinges, a broken AC, and lights out throughout the bedroom and bathroom. do not stay here!!!!!!
