Inexpensive hotels in Venice

It's quite close to the station, but if you have a large suitcase, you'll have to go over a large bridge with only stairs, which might be a bit tiring

The hotel is tucked away in an alley, and we almost missed it when we were looking for it. Although it's an older hotel, it's clean and tidy

I don't think that you can beat this place in Venice. The only disadvantage is that is a little bit far from Piazza Roma so you need to walk with the luggage for 10 minutes but everything else is just great

There is a thin line between running down and old charm feature. This property is more on the latter. Very convenient location though which allowed us to walk around until late

The only real downsides were the noise — you can hear quite a lot from other rooms — and the very small shower. It would also be nice to have a kettle in the room for tea or coffee

It's quiet, tucked away from the main street crowds, so we got a really good night's sleep. The room was spacious, with a wardrobe that easily fit two suitcases, and it even came with its own little garden balcony

The hotel is clean and beautiful, but we had a separate shower across the street, which had to be locked, making it inconvenient to use. There's no iron, which is also inconvenient for tourists

The lady at the front desk was very welcoming; she gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities and answered all our questions. It's about a 30-minute walk to the main square

The hotel's location itself is excellent. It offers great facilities for the price, but there were a lot of ants in the room. They seemed to be coming from the shower, and I found them on the bed as well.

Theres no elevator but I dont mind they put me in the second floor , first door to the right , nice carpeted hallway so you dont hear people talking …. nice room, nice bathroom, nice bed… smells good

The room was tiny, and the furniture was quite old. Plus, we were given a room on the ground floor right in front of the reception, which made it pretty noisy

This hotel was perfect. Location close to station and easy access to main paths. But also super quiet at night. Breakfast was also great and had lots of options. Will stay here again for sure.

its the Best! And its very quiet. I will miss the very nice smell and delicate texture of the shower gel. I left at 11:30PM and the narrow street is not dark at all

The apartment is very close to the Garibaldi street which is full of restaurants. There is a supermarket , pharmacy very close by. The ferry stop is close and we can get ferries to reach all the tourist places

It's a short distance from the Ca' Rezzonigo vaporetto stop and very close to Piazza Santa Margherita, where you'll find plenty of places to eat and a small Conad supermarket for groceries, as well as other shops

Albert was very helpful in recommending places to see around. He was very sweet waiting for us when we got late. The kitchen has pots pans and spoons that you can use to make a small meal

We rented the "small" apartment, which features a kitchen/living room with a double bed next to it and another double bed in the loft

Both the toilets are kept very clean and kitchen is very nicely equipped to cook and enjoy! Just you have to pay 4€ compulsory city tax per person as per Venice rules and regulations

However, they face the busy street, so expect some noise. The WiFi is okay, but nothing fancy. For the price this is all good. The only downside we had is that there are only single beds with flimsy light frames

Hostel we booked through Airbnb. The location is really great and actually not so hard to find. The host is nice and keeps the place clean, well maintained and the kitchen well equiped

As expected for a two star hotel. Five stars for Ena at the reception. She was so warm and welcoming, gave us all the info we need as it was our first time in Venice

If you're looking for something outside of Venice with great access, this is the place to be! Very, very nice staff who knows English and will do anything to accommodate you

Bus stops are within a few minutes including a tobacco store to buy your unlimited pass

The hotel staff is very cooperative and supportive. The rooms, beds and other facilities are clean. The only problem is that hot water in the bathroom comes after you leave the tap running for 5 - 10 mins

If you're planning a trip to the historic, floating part of venice, it's a great place to stay: the train station is less than a 5 minute walk away, and costs €1. Lucia station (on the main island)

We stayed at this hotel during our stay in Venezia last September. The team were kind and advised on the best way to get to Venice square. Bus and train stations are 3 minutes away from the Hotel

Positive: Conveniently close (we hauled our luggage) to the Trenitalia station that connects to Trieste (cruise ship port). A variety of small restaurants within walking distance in case you have a late flight arrival

Approx 5mins walking distance from Venezia Mestre train station ; basic amenities; front desk very helpful ; breakfast was value for money; no lift.

Not that we spend much time in the room since we were mostly exploring the Venezia island, but the flat screen TV was only 24” and also could use an update to something with smart app capability and offer casting from a device

While it was reasonably priced and conveniently located near the train station (making it an easy trip by train for 1. 5 euro to Venice Santa Lucia), my wife and daughter felt the property was a bit out dated

Again, the ladies complained that they could not bend down to shave their legs in the tight space and I wonder how a typically overweight American tourist could even use these tight shower spaces

You could feel the springs in the mattress and I think they need to either replace them or at a minimum add a pillow topper to provide more cushion

We had a late flight and again on check-out, they stored bags and charged phones. The hotel is in a quiet area, but not far from the restaurant strip and probably a 10 minute walk from the bus station

Probably the best shower I have ever had in a hotel, it was a spacious rain shower with ambient lighting. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the garden

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Though we could not check-in until 3pm, the staff safely stored our bags and offered a light bite while we waited (didn't charge). They were very helpful throughout our stay

United Airlines cancelled our flight ten minutes prior to leaving and Anna was extremely helpful with getting us what we needed for transportation and if we needed to stay longer they were going to accommodate this We rented the executive suite with the sauna and the Turkish bath which my husband and I enjoyed both nights! A bottle of Persecco was awaiting us upon arrival and the breakfast was absolutely...

The staff at this property went out of their way to welcome you. It was good to escape the crowds and chill out over dinner. Loved the hotel and will return.

Mark's Square, very convenient and great! The breakfast is good, and the service is excellent! The navigation led me to the back entrance, but a staff member easily guided me to the front desk

Spectacular Venetian building in the city centre, literally a stone's throw from St Mark's and all the tourist sites. A very good buffet breakfast. A suite larger than my house with all the details and views of a canal.

Small 8 room boutique hotel on the Grand Canal about 150’ from the Rialto Bridge. Very “Venetian” in decor - lots of brocades, glass chandeliers, gold insets etc. Staff were super friendly and helpful

Location is very close to Central and to the water bus station B F. Nove station via (Alilaguna)just 2 minutes or less maybe to the Hotel. Only 2stops to and from the airport of Marco Polo

Such a beautiful building and a large, clean room. We didn’t get breakfast included but it looked awesome. We had a nice kitchen and fridge for our food in our room and made breakfast there

Breakfast is 7:30-10, there is the standard breakfast items, coffee, fruit, bread, jam, yogurt, juices, cookies, there was also a gentleman that worked there who provided us a plate of croissants and bread and made us omelets or fried eggs, cheese and meat also can be provided as well as cappuccino or espresso

Yes, there are over 65 steps and no elevator as this is a historic building and one of the oldest in Venice, but that should not be a surprise to anyone, their main website states and many reviews state that they have no elevator so if you book without knowing this then you have not done your research

This hotel has a number of rooms of different types we stayed in the junior suite with a view of the Grand Canal We arrived in Venice by train and then took a private water taxi to the hotel, when we arrived, we went to the hotel, the door is on Sturian street a side street from the main canal

Loved the look of the room with exposed beams and roof tiles and the air conditioning!! The bathroom was clean and well equipped. Both the bathroom and bedroom were roomy and there was a view of the canal

Safe, clean and in a great location in Castello, on one of the larger campos in Venice. Pretty typical "value" room for Venice, nice curtains, two twin beds pushed together and a slightly shabby but clean bathroom

The bathroom was clean enough, but visible rust and grime were present all throughout the bathroom. It does get points for having an air conditioner. There is a steep staircase to climb up and no lift

B&B Le Marie was excellently located, not crowded with tourists and easily accessible to many restaurants, bars, an amazing pizza shop, delicatessen. a small supermarket and a nearby gondola stop

They provided disposable slippers, and the mini-fridge was replenished with free drinks daily, which was a pleasant surprise. Bottled water is also available from the staff

The room, which was decorated with the motif of Columbus' ship, was beautiful, unique, and clean. And the finishing materials and amenities in the room were all luxurious

The hotel is near the station. The reception and people there are really nice and helpful. He offered us a brief introduction of Venice and gave recommendation for food. The room and bathroom is clean and decent.

Highly recommend checking out a musical or opera show through the hotel. Two (small) points of improvement. Our suite was connected to the kitchen, meaning, a breakfast scent in the bathroom every morning

Was a comfortable stay, older building with 57 stairs to room but we knew what we were getting into. Very good location and clean.

Good size room, that looks recently renovated with a comfy bed. our room was on the ground floor by the front door but was quiet and safe. Only downside is the toilet is quite small and the shower box is in the bedroom
