I had various communications with the hotel before arriving as had questions about late check in, directions to the accommodation etc. I received prompt responses with detailed descriptions that helped answer my questions.
The location of the accommodation was perfect. One street away from the water bus which was ideal for airport transfers, 5/10 minutes walk from St Marc’s square. A good landmark to head for to get back to your accommodation when the wandering takes you further afield. We had little interaction with staff whilst there but when we did they were pleasant and helpful. The only downside was that the room was a little cold on an evening but our stay was the beginning of October. We weren’t there long enough to speak to staff about it as I’m sure there would have been an easy fix but it didn’t bother us enough to say anything.

Going into this we read the reviews and we were a bit apprehensive. When we arrived we thought this is lovely really authentic very venician. Location is excellent room is nice a bit small but everything you need, we had a canal view so was a nice view outside and you saw gondolas coming past, sometimes with people singing on them so was lovely. You get soap and shower wash, a safe, a fridge & tea and coffee making bed is pretty comfy. Hotel was clean as far as we could see. So now comes the bad unfortunately I think we were pick pocketed on our second night and the hotel key was taken out of the front pouch of my bag (maybe they thought it was a credit card) and when we got back to the hotel you cant get in with out the key we didnt realise it was gone until we got back and the door was locked. We tried the intercom which went to a voicemail and rang the emergency number over 50 times each with no answer. On a sign it said that the hotel is only manned between 09.00 and 13.00 but this is no excuse for nobody to answer the emergency call we ended up having to sleep on the street outside the hotel we were bitten to pieces by bugs and had rats running all around us we went for a coffee around 7am and came back to the hotel at 9 to be let in by the woman on the front desk. No apology in fact it was more an inconvienence that the key had gone we went upstairs showered changed and packed as we had to check out by 10.30. We missed our flight at this point which left at 10.30 I had to pay for a private taxi to the airport which was an extra €150 and had to pay for a new flight, all because the emergency number wasnt answered if somebody had answered or been there I could have gotten in earlier and sorted the issue and made our original flight. Overall started off well but either get a spare key when you check in or dont lose or get the key stolen or you have no hope of getting in would be my advice. I would definitly return to venice but not to this hotel started off with such promise and ended in disaster.

Fraud!!!! This hotel is committing fraud through the booking app. Do not book this hotel. They don't even respond to emails and phone calls after you've been scammed.

Very nice clean place with friendly staff, decorated in Venetian style. Location is just could not be better, 5 mins walk to St Mark square. Will stay here again in future for sure.

Fabulous location on one of the smaller canals within easy walking distance to all major attractions. The check in process was easy and staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here

Great location in Venice
Very unique and interesting place to stay in a very good location of Venice. Customer service was excellent and they provided very clear and accurate information that made our stay very easy. Would definitely stay here again

This quiet space tucked into an off path hotel provided a good jumping off point for the city and as a midday respite from the heat and humidity. We had four in the room which didn’t leave much for privacy but the room was spacious. High ceilings and large shuttered windows helped. Effective air conditioning was a blessing. Small bathroom was a bit tough to navigate for four. Outside of the room was a sitting area with tables that made our morning meal feel a bit more normal as the lobby to the hotel was basically just for checking in. Very hospitable, English speaking hosts. Nearby coffee shop was well stocked with super friendly staff.
