Hotel Borghetti in Verona

Goot hotel with very friendly staff! The rooms were clean, but the walls are very thin. The location is a bit far away from Verona, but there is a busstop with a direct bus to the city center.

I stayed in hotel Borghetti for 5-6 days. The service was excellent ! Room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in room: hairdryer, soap, shampoo, towels etc. Staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was various and tasty. Bus stop is close and it takes about 20-25 minutes to get to the historical center. There are some parking places. Thank you so much!

The hotel is very old, other aspects are OK

We had a great time here. We stayed for two nights, the first night we decided to go and eat at the restaurant. The hostess seemed annoyed with our request to sit at a table a bit further away from a table with a group.

The food, however, was divine. I have not eaten better, more authentic and lovingly made italian food before in my life. Their coffee was also the absolute best I've had so far.
The second night, we had planned to go to a different restaurant for variety but ended up cancelling our reservation to eat at the hotels restaurant again. There, we got the lasagna that had just come out of the oven and it was immaculate, delicious and I wish I had gotten a second serving. For dessert, I had the panacotta two nights in a row as it was absolutely perfect, sweet but not too sweet, with a side of strawberry sauce - It tasted heavenly. Nonna's cooking and genuine kindness was our personal highlight of our trip to Verona.

The rooms are as shown in the pictures, what you see is what you get - The hotel is a bit on the older side but we personally found it charming. The central of Verona is a short bus ride away and the surrounding area has beautiful places to take a walk in.

We would definitely stay again - If only for the delicious foods! :)

In short, it is a good hotel, run by a family, quite close to Verona, which is connected by public transportation and a 20-minute drive away. We have stayed there for 3 years in a row and it is consistent in its quality-cleanliness-price. Spacious, bright rooms, and home made restaurant inside, nothing more is needed.
