❤️ The hotel service was excellent. An elderly gentleman even helped wipe down our suitcases. The room had the AC turned on in advance, and hot water was prepared and kept warm for us

Excellent experience 👍 The staff, mostly elderly gentlemen and ladies, were incredibly gentle and polite, always greeting me when I came and went

There was a Chinese introduction available, and while I pointed out a few typos to the staff hoping for future corrections, it wasn't a major issue. The typical Japanese bedding was very clean

❤️ Our names were written on the shoe cabinet beforehand, and also on the board by the entrance. ❤️ There are hot springs on the 2nd and 4th floors. The pools are a bit small, but super clean

They even wiped down my suitcase upon entry, which was a nice touch. It was a really great experience, and I'd definitely choose this place again if I come back

The 4th floor has an outdoor one. ❤️ The location is about an 8-10 minute walk from Ito Station

Izu Ito Onsen Hotel Daitoukan

Everything was very good and there weren't many people in the onsen. I was the only foreigner. The service was very good. You can walk to the train station. The breakfast was very good.

I think it's a good-sized hot spring inn. The large public bath is alternated between men and women, so I was able to experience both. The family bath was also clean and comfortable

Very local, authentic hot spring hall. The stay experience is quite good. The price of Dadong Hall is much more affordable

But the Japanese-style room with a view of the city and mountains is fantastic! The mountain air and sea are fantastic! The sea is also about 20 minutes away, so it's a good walk

The room is Japanese tatami, and the inner balcony makes it less cramped. Most of the people in the store are Japanese, with children and girls. The breakfast is also the kind you are used to

The real hot spring source water is worth recommending! I had a lot of fun and forgot to take pictures, but I picked up an introduction book and will go there again in the future

Ito Onsen Yokikan Guest House

Best Japan experience in this vacation, hot springs, three types of them(!), traditional food and clothers, service for all 5 stars. I can only advice to stay here for at least two nights!!!

Food was scrumptious, lots of fresh seafood served in the room, the best in the whole trip! The service and facilities were superb, not to mention the special little tram and the view in the outdoor onsen

However, it’s not really suitable for a honeymoon, as my husband and I were separated the whole time — there are no mixed onsens for men and women, probably because the place is now mostly visited by foreigners

This ryokan is very advertised. At the average price for hotels of this type, you get a great dinner and breakfast in traditional Japanese style, a genuine atmosphere of historical and retro

This spot became popular on a Russian platform, so there are many tourists from Russia ( me as well). When I visited the onsen, there were seven people in total - all Russian girls

It’s a very charming place with a real wabi-sabi atmosphere - simple, quiet, and full of nostalgic beauty. Quite old-fashioned, but well maintained

Excellent stay, marvellous food, perfect location

Amazing ryokan! Located conveniently close to the railway station it blends into local woods with its many small villas and paths. The room was nice and had our own balcony looking out to the woods

I used all seven hot springs satisfactorily and they are in good condition. Both dinner and breakfast offer the best Japanese cuisine. Best in every way, there's no reason not to revisit

There was no lack of amenities, futons were comfortable, AC worked just fine, and the wi-fi connection was probably the best we've encountered in Japan

However, the Kuromoji bath's door to the outdoor onsen didn't close all the way so it was chilly in the indoor bath, and the Hina bath had just 1 shower (we kind of expected at least 2)

Not very good. No recommend!!!! The food is terrible, onset is ok….. not agai

Ito Ryokuyu is a special place. We spent 3 nights in the Mikura room and could not be happier. The room was spacious and boasted of beautiful and traditional Japanese design from the tatami mats to the wood carvings

Overall: a good ryokan with a private bath, but lacks any wow factors and not a very high cost performance place

If I could give 100 stars for service, I would. This place was exceptional, the staff are so incredibly nice and their attention to detail is unmatched. The food is incredible and the rooms are very authentic

We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, which is not something we commonly do, but I can not recommend it enough at Ito Ryokuyu. Every meal is a smorgasbord of tiny bowls with delicious fresh food presented beautifully

In the morning, we could hear birds singing - it was so relaxing! You can adjust the water temperature by adding more hot spring water (even the regular hot tap water is sourced from the hot spring)

We booked the Shikine room - a beautiful traditional Japanese-style tatami room with a private open-air hot spring bath, as well as in-room dinner and breakfast

Warm welcome. Good price. We were let to use the onsen as much as we want. There are three family bath. Natural water. Wish to have washlet in the bathroom. Cash only

It was a nice, quiet and beautiful place. However, the roads are narrow, so it may be a bit inconvenient for large vehicles. Other than that, I'm satisfied.

Nice hotel with big clean rooms for a reasonable price. Aiko San is a very hospitable host. Will definitely stayed again and recommend to friends.

It was a very comfortable hotel. The toilet did not have a washlet, so I gave it 4 stars only for the facilities.

The explanation of the facility and the surrounding area was clear and easy to understand.

The owner, Aiko-san is very hospitable and loves to chat with her guests. They have 5 natural hot spring baths and the portions for their meals are very generous

A standard Japanese-style hot spring hotel with excellent kaiseki cuisine, spacious rooms with excellent privacy, good hygiene, friendly service, and high cost-effectiveness. It is a hotel worth staying in!

I thought it was the best if it was my car. I want to go again ♨ It is a hotel ❢

Dinner and breakfast are very good.

The food was very delicious! The portions were large for both dinner and breakfast, but I think many places think that the best part of a place to stay is the food, so this was a relief

I was a little surprised by the parking, but it was very comfortable. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious! I was very satisfied and it was more than worth the price! Thank you very much!

I recommend asking the hotel to arrange a car. It only takes about 15 minutes to get to Mount Omuro

Excellent resort accommodations. Beautiful, clean, safe, outstanding service staff and 5 star food service. The in-room onsen with ocean views are unmatchable

Owner / Executive Chef the best; attention to details are superb. The rooms are immaculate; with typical authentic Japanese decor. Would definitely recommend this resort

We enjoyed the private bath on our deck which overlooked the ocean, trees and the morning sunrise. The larger private onsen was reservable and so relaxing. Staff was very friendly and attentive and many spoke English

Our stay at the Isana Resort was wonderful! The pre-arranged shuttle met us at the train station. The French-Asian fusion dinner was beautifully presented and deserves a Michelin rating

Special thanks to Hide, owner-chef who was born in Maui; Hirai, manager; and Vivian, receptionist and server who also played piano beautifully during dinner

The Japanese breakfast was delicious and beautifully served and consisted of fresh sashimi , grilled fish, onsen tamago and other side dishes. The staff were welcoming and professional

Although the location is a little hard to find, the relaxing and quiet atmosphere and delicious food made for a truly relaxing getaway

My wife and I visited on Saturday during a three-day weekend. It seemed to be a family-run business, operated by the owner and his wife

The husband is an excellent cook, and we were treated to delicious Chinese-style breakfasts and dinners, with different dishes served each day, adding a delightful variety to our meals

The bath was available for private use if it was free. I was a little skeptical before going because of the good reviews, but this inn was definitely a great place to stay

Although we didn't speak the same language, they still communicated with us through translation software and tried their best to make us feel at home

Great accommodation experience, the host is kind, warm and polite, and the meal is rich and delicious. Izu Plateau is a quiet, slow-paced area with many scenic spots nearby, making it a great place for self-driving.

Of all the pensions I've stayed at, this one left me particularly satisfied. Every single dish at the Chinese dinner was delicious, even the sashimi, which I wasn't expecting to find since it's a Chinese restaurant

Excellent location, the view is amazing. It's too far to walk anywhere, but the staff is beyond accommodating. They will drive you to nearby attractions and pick you up

Amaizing place, old fashioned, very friendly. Private onsens make your rest ideal. Dinner and breakfast delisios and also beautiful.

Wonderful hotel in old Japanese style with 7 hot springs. We absolutely love this hotel and stuff. Owner very nice and careful women. Everything in the hotel was excellent

The building is old but the facilities were solid. The view isn't great, probably because the open-air observation bath can't be seen from the outside, but it's spacious and doesn't feel closed in, so it was pleasant

We arrived at Tomodo Station and contacted her, and she sent a car to pick us up. The next day we were going to another hotel, and the owner also arranged a driver to take us there, which was very enthusiastic

The quality of breakfast and dinner was good, and the golden eye snapper and wanna fish were particularly delicious! There is a large balcony outside the room, where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise over the green trees

😋 The presentation of the portions was excellent and made for a memorable experience. The dried fish served at breakfast was also fun to choose from. 👍 It was a relaxing and relaxing stay, and I made many fond memories

The only thing you need to bring is powdered milk; they also prepared diapers after asking about your size in advance. The room, food, bath, facilities, and everything else about this inn were absolutely fantastic

We stayed overnight with our baby, who had just learned to hold his head up. When I first looked at the website, I was amazed at the wide range of amenities. It was especially helpful that they had a baby futon

Since our baby cried a lot, it was very convenient that we could eat and bathe in our private room

Located in Izukogen, it's a little far from the Tokyo metropolis, but that makes it quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay. The exterior appears to be a renovated old villa or pension, and is very stylishly designed

Dinner overlapped with my baby's breastfeeding time, but the staff member said, "Please start with the warm food. We'll leave anything that can't be eaten right away so you can eat it at your leisure

When we left the car, a staff member came to greet us and carried our luggage to our room. This is a nice touch, especially since bellboys are rare these days, except in luxury hotels

The hotel offers a shuttle service, and both the environment and rooms are excellent. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's very well-maintained. The hot spring and swimming pool are great too

Location: Perfectly situated for visiting Mount Omuro and the local zoo. The area offers numerous attractions, and the hotel serves as an excellent base for exploring everything Izukogen has to offer

The service was also excellent. The hotel is located 3-4 kilometers up a mountain road from Izu-Kogen Station, so walking is very tiring. You can either take a taxi or use the free shuttle bus

Excellent value for money! The rooms are incredibly spacious, clean, and tidy. It's a three-bedroom apartment with a living room, essentially a serviced apartment, offering full ocean views

Highlights: The breakfast was fantastic with excellent variety and quality. The onsen was a real treat after busy days exploring, offering genuine relaxation for the whole family
