Only two rooms available so if you have a big group then the whole place is yours. The location is a little far off from everything else so it's perfect if you really want a getaway. Had an unforgettable food experience here more than anything. They do a great job in keeping you stuffed.

We stayed overnight with our baby, who had just learned to hold his head up. It was our first family trip.
When I first looked at the website, I was amazed at the wide range of amenities. It was especially helpful that they had a baby futon.
Since our baby cried a lot, it was very convenient that we could eat and bathe in our private room.
Due to breastfeeding schedules, we weren't able to enjoy Izu's local specialties while traveling, so we were very happy to see seafood, wasabi, and other dishes prepared for dinner. The breakfast side dishes were also delicious, and even though I usually don't eat seconds, I kept eating.
We didn't go because of our baby's age, but there was also a kids' space, and I thought it would be fun for children old enough to play standing up.
The cool morning air of the plateau, the sounds of the Japanese bush warblers, and the open-air bath with the view of the sunrise illuminating the sea were an exceptional experience. I would love to go again.

I found out that this inn was certified as a MIKIHOUSE Baby-Welcome Inn, so I brought my 4-month-old baby there.
Located in Izukogen, it's a little far from the Tokyo metropolis, but that makes it quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay.

The exterior appears to be a renovated old villa or pension, and is very stylishly designed.

The parking lot has a slight step, but since it only allows two groups per day, there was plenty of space and we were able to park without any trouble. When we left the car, a staff member came to greet us and carried our luggage to our room. This is a nice touch, especially since bellboys are rare these days, except in luxury hotels.

For meals, there were dinner and breakfast, and all the dishes were made with local Shizuoka ingredients, and I was impressed by how delicious the seasoning was. Dinner overlapped with my baby's breastfeeding time, but the staff member said, "Please start with the warm food. We'll leave anything that can't be eaten right away so you can eat it at your leisure." I was impressed by their consideration.

As stated on their website, most baby supplies are available for rental or provided. The only thing you need to bring is powdered milk; they also prepared diapers after asking about your size in advance.

The room, food, bath, facilities, and everything else about this inn were absolutely fantastic. If I were to offer a harsh review, I'd say that the washing area smelled a bit, probably because the facilities were old (I mentioned this in the inn's questionnaire). Also, it might be cold in the winter if you take your baby to the washing area (my son was so cold he cried his eyes out).

It was a bit pricey, but it was well worth it. My wife and I even talked for a while on our way home about wanting to come back, so we definitely would.

We recently stayed at this inn on our first family trip with our baby, who was about six months old.

They had everything you need, from milk supplies and diapers to a bouncer, a crib, a baby bath, and skincare products.
As the inn boasts a "baby-welcome" policy, we were very pleased with the level of facilities.
It was very helpful to be able to stay here with peace of mind, even at an age when we tend to carry a lot of luggage.

The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The staff were so attentive that they even asked if we wanted seconds, so we all enjoyed ourselves.

There were times when the water level in the open-air bath in our guest room decreased and the temperature dropped,
but we mentioned this and they responded immediately, which was also a good thing.

The route to the inn requires some caution due to the area's many curves and elevation changes,
but even so, it was a wonderful inn that makes us want to return.
It was our first trip with our baby, and we're so glad we chose this inn.

The other day, my pregnant wife and I stayed at this hotel.
First of all, the kaiseki cuisine was amazing. Seasonal ingredients were carefully prepared, and each dish was so delicious that we exclaimed, "Wow!" As I was pregnant, I was also impressed by the consideration given to my body, which I really appreciated.
Next, the best part was being able to relax in the hot spring attached to our room. It was special to be able to spend a quiet time alone together without having to worry about other guests.
The hospitality of the husband and wife staff was also warm and we had a very pleasant stay. Their thoughtful attention and smiles soothed both body and mind.
I would recommend this hotel to couples looking for a special time, as well as pregnant women. Thank you!
