Country Inn Pewit in Ito

My stay at Country Inn Pewit was truly wonderful. The room was comfortable and quiet, providing a perfect retreat. The owners, a lovely couple, were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to communicate with us using translation software, despite the language barrier.

The husband is an excellent cook, and we were treated to delicious Chinese-style breakfasts and dinners, with different dishes served each day, adding a delightful variety to our meals. One of the most pleasant surprises was the availability of two private hot springs (onsen) that we could use during our stay, adding to the overall relaxing experience.

The inn is located in a residential area, and the hostess was more than happy to offer shuttle services to and from Izu-Kōgen Station, which made our travels much more convenient.

Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Izu area.

It seemed to be a family-run business, operated by the owner and his wife.
The owner and his wife were very friendly and chatted with us, making for a very enjoyable time.
They kindly gave us detailed directions to tourist attractions.
Dinner was Chinese food, and the shrimp mayonnaise was especially delicious, as were the pickled cucumbers. We were completely full.
For breakfast, we could choose between Western and Chinese, and we chose Chinese, which was also delicious.
The bath was available for private use if it was free.
I was a little skeptical before going because of the good reviews, but this inn was definitely a great place to stay.
I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

Great accommodation experience, the host is kind, warm and polite, and the meal is rich and delicious. Izu Plateau is a quiet, slow-paced area with many scenic spots nearby, making it a great place for self-driving.

Although we didn't speak the same language, they still communicated with us through translation software and tried their best to make us feel at home.

The host is a great cook. We can have different Chinese breakfast and dinner every day, which is really pleasantly surprised. What made us even happier was that there were two private hot springs available for use in the B&B, making the entire stay very relaxing and enjoyable.

The location of the B&B is in a quiet residential area, and the hostess was also happy to provide a pick-up service from Izu Kogen Station, which was very convenient for our travel.

Overall, we had a very comfortable and happy stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Izu!

No matter when I visit, it's a relaxing guesthouse where I'm treated to delicious Chinese food.

Whether I'm visiting as a couple, parent and child, or with friends, the owners remember even the smallest details, and chatting with them is always a pleasure.

The food prepared by the owner, who has trained in Chinese cuisine, is exquisite. Furthermore, when I mentioned my bamboo shoot allergy, they accommodated me by using other ingredients.

I also recommend trying their breakfast porridge; it's incredibly flavorful.

This time, it was rainy and cloudy, but the cherry blossoms along the street near Izu Kogen Station were in full bloom.

If you contact them in advance, the owners will pick you up from the station by car.

The outdoor hot spring has a waterfall bath and a reclining bath, and it was so pleasant that I went in several times.
