B&Bペンション Second House Plus in Nikko

A very quiet place to stay overnight, close to the center, very good prices, the lady who welcomes guests there is very nice and helpful, she speaks English which is a big plus.

We stayed here as a couple.
The room was clean, and we had a great time with all the different toys and a piano!
They also kindly lent us a hot plate and various cooking utensils, allowing us to cook our own dinner.
The service and facilities were excellent, but above all, the owner's personality and thoughtfulness were the best!
Thank you so much for everything! It made for a fantastic trip!
We will definitely stay here again if we have the chance.

I stayed here during the summer vacation. The interior was clean and stylish. The manager was friendly and very kind. It was a very comfortable place that I would recommend to others. I would like to stay here again.

We stayed with five groups.
Since we had a mix of groups with and without children, the flexible room allocation was extremely helpful!

Bookings for multiple groups can often lead to unexpected situations, such as when one group can't make it, but the cancellation policy allowed for partial cancellations, which significantly reduced our worries.

Also, we were worried right up until the last minute about whether we could go due to a typhoon, but the staff kept in touch, which really put us at ease.

At first, we considered staying at a hotel run by the Rakuten Group, but that one is completely unmanned and doesn't allow for inquiries, so we're really glad we chose them! 🥲

More importantly, the living room was spacious, so the kids could run around and play with lots of toys, and they looked like they had a lot of fun!
Even while sightseeing, they were always saying, "I want to go back to the hotel!" LOL

The owner stayed nearby and kept an eye on us, which made us feel very safe, and his heartfelt emails were always heartwarming. I'd definitely use him again if I had a large group. 🙏

Very kind owner - she drove me right to the doorstep. She also pointed out all the bird songs; had a lot of fun
