The room was very clean and we had a great view of the Kinugawa River! The hotel also had a calming atmosphere, so I'm glad I stayed at this hotel! I'd love to stay here again!

The hotel is in a good location and the hot spring is also very large. However, the parking lot is a bit inconvenient because it is far away and you have to walk more than a kilometer and take the hotel bus! I will come again next time.

The hotel facilities are complete, the hot spring environment is beautiful, and there is also a swimming pool for me to experience, which is enough for me to have a good swim. I feel comfortable physically and mentally after experiencing these two projects! It was amazing! They really had everything. The dining room was huge and they gave us 90 minutes. There was a huge variety of delicious food and drinks, including alcohol. There were also several onsen baths, both indoor and outdoor. It was definitely worth a visit for relaxation. It was mostly Japanese families; there weren't many foreign tourists, which was nice and peaceful.

Since I was traveling with elderly people, it was difficult to get to meals and the large public bath. The location of the room was disappointing as it overlooked the station and not the river. The shoji screens separating the rooms were covered in dust. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly.

It was one of my best hot spring resort experiences in Japan. Everything was perfect. Its hot spring quality was the best. I have enjoyed outdoor hot spring during a snowy early morning, which I couldn’t forget. It was so fascinating experience. Food was great and surroundings were also very beautiful. A great stay near Nikko. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the hot spring was very relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The surrounding nature was beautiful and peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very pleasant experience and good value for money.

The hotel is quite new, and the room is very spacious. We enjoyed soaking in the hot springs at night and strolling along the Onsen street during the day. It's very close to the Yumoto Onsen Ski Resort, which was great as it was mostly locals skiing there. The only downside is that it's a bit far to get to; you have to take the bus and get off at stop number 45.

really amazing service especially the onsen the adult food. rooms are a little outdated. It did catch us off guard as it was about 1000 USD for two nights for the 3 kids and their meals were like pasta and fries. I am not sure we would have spend this money staying with kids. Better suited for adults or if money really isn't an issue spending already so much at the hotel.

Nice accommodation, good service, but average food

The breakfast and dinner place is comfortable and rich, the room is large and comfortable. I originally booked a Japanese-style room, but my friend couldn't sleep on the floor and asked to change to a bed room. The staff immediately helped to deal with it. The staff service was very good.

Close to the train station, making bus travel convenient. The hotel has a hot spring, and we usually went around 3 PM when it was empty, which was very relaxing. Breakfast is provided, and since we're used to Japanese-style breakfasts, it was perfectly fine for us.

The staff were all wonderful and I had a very comfortable stay. There were no sightseeing spots nearby and I was worried about how to kill time until my train, but they let me wait on a sofa in the hotel lounge, and since it was raining, they drove me to the station in their luxury car.

The hotel has an antique charm, reminiscent of an old luxury hotel, and is quite clean and tidy. The hotel is very close to the train station, about a 10-minute walk. Dinner is buffet style. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting Ryuo Gorge, and the hotel's hot spring is also excellent.

Considering the price, I felt the quality of the food was not up to par. The breakfast was well thought out and the ingredients were tasty, but dinner was lackluster. The Yonaki noodles at night were tasty, but I thought they were served as cheap Chinese noodles. I visited after the renovation and was curious, but I feel there is still room for improvement.

The whole experience at this ryokan was magical. Our room with the private onsen was so comfortable and we were lucky enough to get snow on our final morning.
