I love It this place because t,his my first work , many years ago and very good location .

We used this hotel for a family trip. We had a wonderful time, from the meals to the rooms. Our whole family was very satisfied. Regarding the location, I rated it this way because our room was on the mountain side

The all-inclusive package was the best! 👍 I used it multiple times whenever I wanted. There were so many food options, I was spoiled for choice, haha. The sashimi was also fresh and delicious.

It would have been nice to have a Zaisu (legless chair) in the room. The food had a great variety and was delicious. The free lounge also offered a good selection, which was a plus

Onsen is very good but the dinner is less variety of food. Nice facilities in the hotel and room types

The female receptionist is so kind. It is a little far from the station and main roads, but ok if you have a car. The shower and bed was excellent

Great customer service with very modern and clean amenities, price is decent but it is a bit far from the central of Nikko. There are free tea, coffee and instant miso soup available at the communal area/ lobby

There is an excellent steak place 400m uphill from the restaurant, but you need the reception to make a booking. It is very expensive, but extremely high quality. Try the carbonara, salad, gnocchi, duck and tiramisu

Excellent hotel and very high quality. Excellent location for trips in the area, large room clean and very pleasant. The hotel staff is excellent, pleasant, always smiling, helpful and with a positive attitude

It only takes 5 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel. The hotel is large and has many facilities for children. The dinner buffet is average compared to the breakfast buffet. But overall they are very satisfied.

It was amazing! They really had everything. The dining room was huge and they gave us 90 minutes. There was a huge variety of delicious food and drinks, including alcohol

The dining area was in one place, so there was a problem with the flow of food, so we had to wait in line, but we arrived a little early so we managed. The hot springs were also very nice

This is a popular all-inclusive resort! We stayed on a Saturday, but the various play areas and pool facilities were spacious and relaxed, so it didn't feel crowded at all

The massage therapists in a 4-star hotel should be more selective. The rest of the hotel was very bad. The service of the hotel staff was excellent. The view from the outdoor onsen is very beautiful

I wish we had had a little more time for breakfast. I wanted to eat at a leisurely pace. The curry udon I ate in front of the fireplace for dinner was a real relief. The room was comfortable, and I was able to relax

She could only speak a little, which was hard to understand. She didn't seem to know how to massage. The pillow that was used to put my face into the hole had a very bad smell of saliva

I went for a massage at the hotel. She didn't intend to massage, just rubbed and rubbed very lightly. The massage therapist seemed Chinese. She couldn't speak Japanese very well

The service was warm and attentive, and the hotel facilities were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. If you're not driving, be sure to book the shuttle bus. The buffet dinner was definitely a highlight

A hot spring inn that has been used several times, but makes you come back every time. The building seems calm from the outside. At the entrance, there are staff in kimonos and staff who look like porters

Although the hotel is a bit old, the facilities are perfect and the buffet is delicious. The best part is the open-air hot spring on the top floor; soaking in it while it's snowing is an unforgettable experience

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and easy to access to the Onsen and dining room. The rooftop open air Onsen was a great spot to enjoy the Onsen. Love the Onsen temperature and the pool were too crowded.

There are also two other indoor hot springs, which are perfect

Japanese breakfast room service was delectable , shout out to Vincent who was so sweet to us and had the best service. He described the food well and it was nice talking to him

Didn't want to leave the room if not for the awesome onsen downstairs. Staff is very attentive and I feel they get all the details right for a comfortable stay. Bottle water everywhere, nicely maintained onsen and sauna

We don't eat huge portions, so smaller sets or more a la carte variety would be appreciated. Chez Yoshino is a nice local french restaurant 5 min walk away, and we ended up eating dinner there and really enjoyed it

I'm a Marriott loyalist and have had a few suite upgrades, but this might be my favorite in terms of the room layout, view, and comfort. Lots of natural light, various spots with comfy chairs to relax

I do find the dinner options more limited this time, as they push towards set menu that costs 20000+ yen for both lakehouse and japanese restaurant, whilst the a la carte menus feel more limited

Second time here, this time in icy cold winter, but it's a great time to be here to enjoy the onsen and the tranquil, peaceful surroundings, and check out snow covered kegon falls

The room had a great view and was very clean! When I arrived around 1:00, the private bath, table tennis, and karaoke were all available, so I was able to enjoy the whole day in the hotel! I would definitely like to use it again

It was a very clean and pleasant inn. I heard there was a large infestation of stink bugs, but they explained this to me in advance and took proper precautions, so it wasn't a big deal.

This place here has nice view I give you that, but I wouldn't recommend it here for the full price. Edit: Okay Breakfast is good. Good enough that I'd bath in cold water

There weren't many restaurants nearby, so they quickly arranged for dinner and breakfast to be included. I was very satisfied with the delicious food at a reasonable price

The hotel rate is good value even though it was high season. The room is so big and comfort. There were beds and tatami zone. It takes 5 minutes walk from train station. The restaurant food is delicious

In particular a young lady Ms Henmi she was outstanding , she gave me directions on how to best get to my next port of call

The onsen hotel is near Tobu World Square station. The staff were incredibly helpful. I went to the wrong building, but they walked me to the correct one

However, there was one issue: when we checked in, the reception took our passports for photocopying. Unfortunately, they missed returning one of the passports to us

It wasn’t until after we checked out and reached our next stop that we realized one passport was missing. We had to go back to the hotel to take it

We rented a private room which had an 4 person indoor tub and two single person outdoor tubs. The outdoor tubs in cold weather are awesome! Water is very hot and air is cold which is very pleasant

Everything was comfortable. The hot springs in particular had the best quality. The food was also delicious. The shuttle bus was convenient, and they would provide additional buses if there were a large group.

Guests can enjoy tranquility while gazing at the lake. The breakfast environment and food are excellent, and a shuttle bus is available to Nikko Station

The hotel's location, right in front of Nikko Toshogu Shrine and close to Shinkyo Bridge, is excellent! The free hotel tours offered as a special benefit to guests are also fun, making it worth staying at this classic hotel

Was the day in the "higaeri" the Onsen. Very good color and skin - velvet!

Hotel has a nice onsen (indoor and outdoor). When requsted for a fruit knife, i am impressed that staff handed to me in a second. Room was spacious and all of us slept so well. No sound from cars, electrical stuff

Breakfast was better than dinner, but both were good. The onsen was good and clean, but I wish they provided towels at the onsen area and not having to bring our own. There were no face towels in the room

The hotel is very close to the train station, about a 10-minute walk. Dinner is buffet style. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting Ryuo Gorge, and the hotel's hot spring is also excellent.

Fruit taste was not as good as we expected though and you might not feel excited much about the food after a couple days as they’re pretty much the same. Wonderful public baht with generous amenities provided

One of the best hotel experiences i had up to now in Japan. It's a bit far from the city, but the onsen water is awesome. I would recommend going here to anyone coming to Nikko.

A nice hotel just by the lake. The onsen had a beautiful momiji tree and the view from the room was pretty good. We enjoyed our food and had a good rest overall.

Close to the train station, making bus travel convenient. The hotel has a hot spring, and we usually went around 3 PM when it was empty, which was very relaxing

Great location, right opposite the station, perfect for dropping off luggage and exploring Nikko. It was also an excellent choice for catching the early morning bus to Akechidaira during the autumn foliage season

The location is super, it’s opposite JR Nikko and a short walk from Tobu Nikko station. The hotel is jaded, you can tell from the light switches but the cleanliness is more or less there

Location: Fantastic! Both train stations and the bus terminal are within sight, making transportation incredibly convenient. There's a large supermarket about 600-700 meters away, which is great for groceries

Great value onsen-ryokan in KinugawaOnsen. The best thing from this ryokan would definitely be the amount of public baths they have

There were 2 outdoor bathes available for each division, and in order for you to try all of them, you’ll have to visit both at night and morning the day after, as the bath location changes for men and women

Our family is very satisfied with this itinerary. There is a music performance in the evening. The staff is very polite and the waiter can communicate with us in Cantonese. It is a very personal service

This was a truly lovely hotel with a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend joining the guided tour of the building. The entire hotel is well-heated, so light clothing is perfectly fine

It is also beautifully located near the Unesco World Nikko Shrines, Toshogu shrine to name a few, the famous picturesque Shinkyo bridgeand the beautiful flowing river from the falls. This hotel is highly recommended

A memorable hotel, full of old-world charm, with courteous staff. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It's a landmark in Nikko, historically the first and most high-standard hotel

The only downside was the set dinner; while presented well, the ingredients and culinary skill weren't up to par, and the main course fish wasn't fresh

The hotel is perched on a small rise, directly opposite Shinkyo Bridge and the entrance to Toshogu Shrine. The service was excellent. While the hotel has an older feel, it's generally very quiet.

We enjoyed our stay at Nanaeyae during autumn. The staff were wonderful throughout and served us delicious meals. We also particularly enjoyed the onsen bath which was well-maintained and invigorating.

The public bath was also really comfortable with great facilities and a lovely outdoor bath too. Thank you so much again for hosting us, I would highly recommend staying here

We had a lovely stay, experiencing aspects of Japanese culture - such as the food, Japanese room and the beautiful onsen. It was further away from the Nikko World Heritage Site than we realised when booking

We had the pleasure of staying at Nanaeyae for Christmas Eve. The service we received was impeccable - we felt at ease at all times and were treated as valued customers

The service was excellent, the food superb, and the room offered a fantastic view. The soup, however, was only decent.

The room was absolutely stunning, with a private onsun, stunning view of the landscape and comfortable bed. The dinner was absolutely delicious dinner and we felt so full afterwards

The bath was just the right temperature, and although there was a sauna, I alternated between the hot and cold baths, and before I knew it, I was in the bath for over an hour. The food was hot thanks to the hearth

This was my first all-inclusive experience, and after checking in at the front desk, I left my luggage in my room and went up to the first floor to enjoy sparkling wine, beer, and snacks

Truly a hidden gem. The staff were kind. I wish the dinner was a little more luxurious. The drinks are all-you-can-drink and the best.

There was a variety of options, but the somen noodles were delicious. Eating shrimp, fish, chicken, and other meat skewered on the hearth was also delicious, and I ate way too much

I booked this hotel through Trip. com and the pictures of the room I chose included a spa. I got to the hotel and although the room was big, japanese style, it didn't include the spa

The hotel was quite expensive and I was really hoping to relax in the spa. I complained in the reception, but the staff barely spoke English

The only thing I missed in the room was tea bags. Otherwise, everything was great. The window opened, and there was a really good breakfast included, which wasn't even mentioned here on Trip. I'd happily come back!

The accommodation has a great location, not far from Tobu Nikko Station, just a 3-5 minute walk. You can store your luggage for free both before and after your stay by informing the staff; there are lockers available

The hotel is just walking distance from train station & bus terminal to take bus to places of interests. Small town - eating places aplenty. Family mart and Lion Dor is in the front and back of hotel

Acceptable hotel for a short stay. Room was basic but functional. Check-in took a bit long but no major problems. Does what it needs to without much flair.
