Since I live locally, I knew there were no convenience stores or restaurants nearby, so I coped by purchasing food and drinks at a convenience store or supermarket in advance, or eating out.

A previous review stated that the keys were left at the front desk, but this did not happen this time. I checked in around 5pm on a Saturday, and the woman at the front desk (foreigner?) greeted me with a smile, and when I told her my name, she prepared a key, paid, and went straight to my room. .

[Facilities and room conditions]
Is beautiful. It is stated on the website and travel reservation site that some microwaves are available and reservations are required, but when I checked with the hotel contact information in advance, I was told that almost all rooms have microwaves. The bath is so spacious that you can stretch out your legs, and there's also a spacious area to wash your body, so it's not as cramped as in a business hotel. The wash basin is located in the same place as the bed and Japanese-style room. Mats were also provided so that water could drip onto the bottom when wiping the body.
What I was happy about when I was traveling with children was that the microwave, kettle, doorknobs, etc. were located at a height that children couldn't reach, so it was safer than staying at a regular inn! The door is a push/pull type, so there was no need for children to get into trouble.
As other people have mentioned in their reviews, the hallway is dark and, as a result of the La Hotel, the door does not face the hallway and is slightly curved.
The interior and exterior do not have the feel of a La 〇 hotel.

The phone has an area code of Kofu City and is probably the owner's landline. The owner is also a foreigner, so he may not be very polite, but he speaks broken Japanese, so we had no problems communicating with him. He came out after 10 calls or more. lol

I also take it with me when I go out. I didn't have to drop things off or pick them up at the front desk, so it felt like a hotel overseas, so it was easy. When you check out, just put it in the key box at the front desk and check out is complete.

I am satisfied because there are no complicated documents or procedures, the rooms are clean and spacious, and it is safe for children! I would like to use it again because the quality is high and the price is low!
If I had to say, the Gusto menu pamphlet in the room was from 2019 to 2020, so the menu and prices may have changed, so it might be a good idea to replace it!

I stayed here on September 1, 2023 while on a bike tour. Motobako is a love hotel with spacious beds and baths. We recommend staying as a couple.
There is basically no front staff. When you arrive, take the room key with your pre-booked name to the front desk and enter the room without permission.
You will receive a phone call in your room around 10pm to pay for your room at the front desk.
It was originally a love hotel, so unlike cheap business hotels, it had good soundproofing and was comfortable.
It can be confusing if you don't know the house rules, but I'm glad I did.
