Very quiet and scenic place. Beautiful ryokan. Super clean. Staff able to communicate with English. Free shuttle bus provided and fast response when communicating.

The inn is clean and comfortable, with a dedicated shuttle service to and from the station and ski resort. Just remember to book your meals well in advance to ensure availability.

This small ryokan is a pleasant surprise. It is just 15 min drive from Yuzawa station. We had a choice of pillows, private dining, 60 inch smart tv, pleasant onsen. The only complaint is the room that is small and the attic sloping ceiling that risks knocking our heads against.

I guess it should be considered a homestay. It is much worse than the general Japanese hot spring hotel. Although we checked in late, it was before 9pm. There was no one at the hotel front desk. It took a while for the service staff to appear after ringing the bell. The room design is very strange. The roof is slanted. I am 1.54 meters tall and I have to dodge to avoid hitting my head when walking. I always have to bend down to feel safe. There is no shower facility in the room. My friend went to take a bath and found that the towel he brought to wipe his body was missing after taking a bath. There was no clean towel on site... I didn't dare to take a bath that night. In short, the accommodation experience was not good. Fortunately, I only booked a plain room. The price is not cheap. I don't recommend staying here.

Impeccable service, very Japanese-style rooms. I heard it is a century-old hotel. There are not many rooms, so there are not many people taking a hot spring bath, which is a good experience. There is an open-air bath, you can watch the snow and take a hot spring bath, which is very flavorful. The food is very good, dinner is Japanese, and breakfast is a buffet. The buffet has Western bread and coffee, and natto rice with miso soup. My snow boots disappeared when I came back without putting them in the shoe cabinet. All the hotel staff helped me find them, and the uncle who manages the shoe rental kept apologizing. He said that if I can't find them, he will prepare a pair of snow boots for me.

This place feels in between a hotel and a ryokan. We requested for a pick up from a ski hill using Whatsapp and it was seamless. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Our room was on the second floor of the annex, and some of the rooms had stairs, so it was difficult to carry the pet cart.
Even with the door closed, bugs would get in somehow. The open-air bath smelled of gasoline, probably from the inn, and was uncomfortable at night.
As it was the season for new rice, we ordered extra breakfast, which was absolutely delicious. Many guests brought their pets, and the inn and its guests were all very pet-friendly.

I went to the Earth Art Festival and booked a hotel recommended by a Japanese friend. The dinner was really delicious. The pork horn was so tasty. The room was also quite big and the big bath was average. The price/performance ratio was OK.
