Hiroshima No Yado Aioi in Hiroshima

Our stay at Hiroshima no Yado Aioi was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, and the staff deserves a huge compliment for their hospitality and professionalism. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore the city. The rooms are incredibly cozy, comfortable, and spacious. Staying in a traditional Japanese room with a futon was a truly special experience that we will never forget. Highly recommended!

Best place to stay in Hiroshima. Easy to get to from Shinkansen. Very close to Peace park and also a 3 min walk to ferry from peace park to Miyajima.

The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious and very comfortable. There is also an Onsen pool on the 7th floor that has a view of the dome while you relax in the Onsen.

Perfect place to stay and relax in Hiroshima.

Location perfect. Right across the street to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park where the atomic bomb hit in August 5th 1945. The hotel is a traditional style Japanese hotel. It is more than a hotel stay, it is an amazing experience. I suggest getting the breakfast included. Amazing.

My son and I visited Hiroshima July 19-21 and stayed at Hiroshima no Yado Aioi. It was a very nice hotel with extremely friendly staff. Your shoes are left in the lobby on their own shelf and the room we stayed in (408) was spacious and clean.
You could not ask for a better location when staying in the city. The hotel entrance is right across from the Peace Park and the rooms look out over the Atomic Dome. The covered Hiroshima Hondori Shopping Street is only a short walk away as is the Hiroshima Gate Park. If I ever get the opportunity to visit Hiroshima again (we are from the North East United States), I won't hesitate to stay there.

Beautiful and traditional experience. Very well located right in the atomic some moinoment. Easy access from different types of transportation.

Front desk staff were super. Polite, speaks some English and very approachable. Futon in the room a bit too thin but thanfully, there were spares in the closet which i was able to pull out and stack them for a more comfortable sleep. Location was outstanding but not mych views from the room.

The breakfast here was incredible and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Quaint family run hotel directly across the Hiroshima Peace park, museum and Genbaku Dome. Minutes on bus or tram from Hiroshima Train Station. The staff treated us like royalty as soon as we stepped into the foyer. Our names were posted in the foyer, names on our shoe shelf and posted outside the private dining room. Rooms are spacious like apartments with separate living areas, kitchen, toilet room, bath area and front foyer. The kind staff filled out all our luggage delivery forms and called the next hotel on our behalf. If you enjoy futons this hotel will fit the bill being a very traditional roykan. Maker you sure include the traditional 10 course Kaiseki dinner; it is outstanding. At checkin they offer a small gift and sweet. At checkout they gift you postcards. Such a sweet family!

Hiroshima no Yado Aioi stands out for its exceptional location—right next to the Peace Memorial Park, offering a truly unique and meaningful view. Our room was spacious, which is always a plus in Japan, and the breakfast was delicious, featuring local specialties that gave us a real taste of the region.

The staff was incredibly kind and polite, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The only slight downside was that, given the price, we expected something a bit more refined. The room showed some signs of aging, which made it feel a little less polished than anticipated.

That said, for the location, service, and comfort, it's still a solid choice for a stay in Hiroshima.
