It’s connected to the main station and Level 2’s exit gets you to the Shinkansen. It is a wonderful hotel with all required amenities and a great bed to sleep on. If you have back issues, this is the place!

The size of the room offered is different from the information provided in your website and it is far below from expectations. After many rounds of complain, the hotel offered another room on the third night. Very disappointed with the hotel.

I had a great stay at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima. The location is excellent, directly connected to Hiroshima Station, which made traveling extremely convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were professional and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The transportation is incredibly convenient, with the airport shuttle right downstairs. High-speed rail, subway, and tram stops are all just a 3-5 minute walk away. Shopping and dining at the mall are also very easy. The mall even has a Pokémon Center and a 24-hour supermarket on the second floor. The room facilities are quite new, and the check-in and check-out process at the lobby was excellent.

Overall, this is a good hotel. Rooms and hard products in general are dated but they’re kept clean. Service is good. The location isn’t very convenient besides the Miyajima ferry service departing from the hotel but most rooms come with a view. Their public path isn’t free (free for me as a platinum member) and isn’t big enough. I tried a couple of restaurants on site and they were good as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Room was very clean I enjoyed the complimentary drinks and amazing view in the lounge. I will stay here again next time.

We had a nice one-night stay. The room had noticeable dust so could be cleaner, but other than that it was a good experience. All the necessary amenities provided, there also is a guest lounge with snacks.

Great hotel with a good location and also very affordable

After all, it's a high-end IHG hotel, so the facilities are very complete. Although the room isn't huge, it has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. There are many 24-hour convenience stores nearby, and it's also very convenient for dining and business meals. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming. If I travel to Changdao again for business, I'll definitely choose this hotel.

This is a very modern hotel. The entrance was a bit hidden, haha. It's close to all the main attractions, within walking distance or a short tram ride. Shukkei-en Garden is just over ten minutes away, Hiroshima Castle fifteen minutes. The Atomic Bomb Dome is also about sixteen to seventeen minutes away. Had basically zero complaints, room was clean and didn’t feel dated. Seemed good value for cost. Showers a bit awkward for people who are tall (6’3+) as I accidentally hit my head on the roof once but it was was not really an issue.

Your typical hotel for the price range. Stayed for two nights for a trip. Room was average size for this type of hotel and clean. Had no problems with noise or wi-fi. I liked the retro style. Breakfast buffet was generous and staff was polite. There are a bus stop and a tram stop nearby.

One of my favourite hotels this trip. It's older and has a 1950's Europe vibe, but they've leaned into that and maintained old style fixtures, so its very cute. It's very clean, has gorgeous views over the adjacent river (canal?), rooms are an acceptable size, bed was extremely comfortable, and bus stop is right out front with quick links to the station (1 stop) or Peace Park. The hotel is located a bit further from the city center than what I imagined. Overall the stay was great, the room is spacious, a bit old… The breakfast was very busy (had to wait 5 min before going in), the breakfast buffet has therefore a large variety of choices. The room was generally clean although there were a couple stains on the couch. The room was quiet which was a plus after a long day of sightseeing. We didn't use the onsen - but thought it was a good amenity to have on site. Having no idea why there are so many 5-star reviews. The location is good but that’s it. The room gives cheap and not-really-clean vibes. My skin was itchy after one night on these sheets. I choose this hotel for 2 reasons. One is its nice breakfast. In particular, the smoothie is the best of the best. You have to try it. The other is , they are close to the station.

The hotel location is very convenient, 3 mins walk to Hiroshima train & tram station, include restaurant & shopping. The hotel staff is very friendly & the room is clean, I love their quality coffee, one of the best I had in Japanese hotels. Just for details, their towel fabric is high quality, soft & high absorbing in water. I stayed in Nagoya last year & this is my 2nd stay in Hiroshima Daiwa Roynet

The hotel offers a shuttle van in the mornings that can take you to the JR station; just book it in advance at the front desk. They have been well trained and follow-up, as and when required. It is one of those few properties which I have experienced, as a global traveller, where it was difficult to leave. We were so happy with our choice with GRAND BASE. Room to move and put luggage, spotless, secure, easy to check in and so very close to all the historical areas we wanted to explore. Easy walk to many restaurants and the ferry boat to Miyajima. We would strongly recommend this apart/hotel.

It was a small hotel near the Peace Memorial Park, making it easy to walk to the park and the museum without a lot of crowds. The rooms were nice and big, giving us lots of space to relax.

The room was large by Japanese standards, but it's not sound proofed, as my room faced the main street, it was very noisy and I had a difficult time sleeping. Also the room was very dark, I would have preferred a lighter environment.

We took the tatami apartment, with separate bedroom. Big bathroom, nice amenities. Close walking distance to train station and shopping centre, that has many food options.

Room was clean and well maintained. No issue checking in, it was simple.

The entry is extremely hard to find- look for a narrow doorway in the middle of the block, not where the map places you. Signage is poor. Take the elevator to the 5th floor. Reception is unmanned but there is a phone if you have problems with their automatic sign-in (we did). Once we were in the room it was fine for the night.

Good value for the price. The checkin procedure was a bit difficult to navigate as there is no one at the location. We did find the phone and it became very easy.
