JR tower hotel nikko sapporo in Sapporo

This hotel is perfect if you don't want to walk far from Sapporo station and you need to leave early for the airport. Just a few minutes beside Stellar Place mall. Check in is strict as with all hotels in Japan at 3pm. The best part is the view. I got the room at level 34 facing north side of Sapporo and it was breathtaking. I booked 2 rooms and the staff was kind enough to accomodate my request for the rooms to be nearby. We got rooms next to each other. It was initially full booked and once I saw rooms available at the last minute, I took it. No regrets. The rooms are spacious too. Amenities are complete with both body and skincare products too. Breakfast was add on and we chose western cuisine. There were varieties but not that amazing. But the 360 view at the 35th floor restaurant is worth checking out.

Upon checking in, I upgraded from a standard twin room to a deluxe corner twin room for the first night directly at the front desk. The view was expansive, the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel's service was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay. Although it was a bit pricey, coming back to a comfortable room after a day of sightseeing was definitely worth it. The hotel is also quite close to Sapporo JR Station, about a 6-7 minute walk. I'd love to come back again if I have the chance.

The location is superb, right above the JR station, so you don't have to drag your luggage through the snow. There's a shopping mall downstairs, which is convenient for shopping. For breakfast, there are two restaurants on the 35th floor with beautiful views. I always ate at the Western restaurant, which had a good variety of options. A pleasant surprise was that if you skipped breakfast, you could use the breakfast voucher to exchange for a light meal at the ground floor cafe from noon to afternoon. They had rice sets, desserts, and drinks, all of which could be exchanged and tasted good. The room was spacious and worth the price. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sapporo.

The hotel is located on top of the JR towel, right next to the train station. Very convenient for taking snow bus from Rusutsu or Nesiko and JR train to and from the airport. You can walk underground walkway to Odori park to attend the Sapporo snow and ice festival. Can’t ask for anything more. I wish they don’t charge extra for the onsen, 2150 JPY per person seems high for guests staying in the hotel. We will definitely consider this hotel when we visit Sapporo in the future

Excellent location, accessible through the mall, so no need to drag luggage through the snow. The room was spacious with large corner windows offering expansive views. Toiletries and pajamas were provided, and the humidifier was a great bonus.

The location is super convenient, especially in heavy snow. When the roads are covered in slush, it's a huge relief that this hotel has direct access from JR, so you don't even have to go outside. The staff are friendly and thoughtful, and the view is great – the west-facing scenery is particularly beautiful.

The room was clean and tidy, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was warm and attentive. The restaurant staff were enthusiastic and proactive, and the Chinese-speaking attendant at the front desk who handled luggage storage was also very friendly and helpful with directions.

Great location, just beside JR Sapporo station with lots of underground shops and connected to malls. 2 subway lines here as well. Staffs are very courteous and greet everyone. Perfect service and location.

The room was quite clean, and while the facilities were a bit old, I was prepared for that. Room service was very prompt, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and kind, granting us a late checkout until 12 PM. The complimentary water they sent was a generous touch. However, the humidifier was really ineffective; it didn't increase the humidity and only blew out hot air. I hope they can replace it. I can't comment on breakfast as it wasn't included. The hotel is very close to the JR station and conveniently located next to two department stores, making dining easy. Since the hotel is quite old, it's a good option for a transit stay. When we left, a young lady at the entrance helped us call a taxi, and her attitude was excellent. If they could renovate the hardware, this hotel would be perfect.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete amenities and great attention to detail. The night view was beautiful, and the hotel's spa and breakfast were also very high-end. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help.
