The location was the best! Two doors down from En en for great Gyoza, 5 min walk to Hiniku to come, around the block from Pizza Stada, and a couple blocks from the bus station & the Main Street in Gion

Nicely designed boutique hotel. Cannot comment on the food as we didn’t take this option but room was clean and practically designed. Staff very professional and friendly. Located well for good restaurant choices.

We had enough room to spread out and it feel like we were on top of each other. The lobby area is great with free coffee and snacks & wifi. We didn’t do breakfast but it looked good

I used the onsen every day and it was great! Fully stocked with shampoo, lotion, q tips, cotton pads, water station. Small but functions and very beautiful

The room is on the smaller side, but the bed is incredibly comfortable. The breakfast offers a great variety, and the lobby lounge area is very cozy

This is a well located hotel with excellent breakfast and room service. The hotel is 2-min walking distance from Yamashina train station, which is only one stop away from Kyoto

I chose the plan that included a breakfast buffet, and was very satisfied with the wide selection and delicious side dishes. The rooms and large public bath also had card key access, so security was tight

It was a double room for one person, but it was large and clean, and the bathroom was not a separate bath, but a bathtub with a washbasin and a separate toilet for Japanese people

However, the dinner for the hotel's 'one night, two meals' plan was too small; we had to order extra dishes to feel full! Overall, we were quite satisfied!

I stayed at this hotel while sightseeing in Kyoto. It's a relatively new hotel that opened recently. The room didn't feel cramped, there were plenty of amenities, and the hospitality was excellent

Public onsen was ok; the water was not as hot and as original. Breakfast selection was ok, can be better and have more selection other than seafood. Dinner was superb! The only thing was lacking is the location

com, the price shows online does not include the kid, even we selected the kid at the begining, so we had to pay additional at check out. This is agent's issue, not the resort

The hotel is located by Lake Biwa, and the room was decent. We booked a private onsen room with breakfast and dinner included. The food was excellent, the hot spring was great, and the hotel's service was also very good.

We were charged an additional ¥4,000 for a late check-out at 11:00 am (extension of an hour). The in-room onsen was excellent, the water flow was strong and hot enough for cold weather

Service: After exiting the JR station, if you call the hotel, a car will come to pick you up. However, that phone is really well-hidden; it took us a while to find it. The drive to the hotel takes about 10 minutes

It's a basic business hotel, but the staff do their best with limited English

Staff was very friendly and the room was quite clean. My only wish is that the Air Conditioning was a bit stronger. I am from the North and used to brutal winters. We like it cold.

Only complaint was that the bathroom was on a steep step that was not labeled. My friend and I stumbled on it a couple times before getting used to it

Breakfast buffet is very generous in the morning with western and Japanese options. In the afternoon they have a sort of tea time as well where you can grab a drink, great if you think of passing by the hotel

Overall experience Everything about this hotel made our stay in Kyoto much more enjoyable. Clean, comfortable, well-located, and well-managed. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation

There was a good balance of various small dishes, including vegetables and fish, which was a welcome change for our stomachs after eating out so much during our trip

The location is super good, opposite ****, a five-minute walk. The grandpa at the front desk can speak English and his attitude is very good. The room is clean and tidy, very quiet. You can store your luggage for free

The room is much larger than one would expect in Japan. Unfortunately, the Onsen is very small and I don't get a chance to fully enjoy it as the times to use it are also inconvenient. This is the only small shortcoming

The hotel is located on the banks of the Takase River, about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station. The rooms are cleaned daily and are very tidy. A soak in the cypress bathtub is very relaxing

The large public bath is small and includes an open-air bath. Since many rooms have their own private baths, the large public bath isn't likely to be overcrowded, although it might be a little crowded

Had good stay with room very spacious for 2 person (took twin bed room). It’s 10-15mins walk to Gion District. Near to Sanjo Keihan Station, provides convenient access to Gion-Shijo and Higashiyama area

A tina, but very comfortable place to stay. The staff is friendly, and checkout can be done easily vie tablet. It is located about 8min to the metro station
