This Japanese inn in Ogoto Onsen allows guests to stay with their dogs, and its signature feature is the service provided by the waitresses. Since a bath and in-room dining option would be expensive, we chose the option of "no bath, in-room dining only." The building can be difficult to find if you're unfamiliar with the area, so we recommend taking the "Minamishin" sign, turning left at the "Ogoto Onsenguchi" entrance, and parking next to the entrance. There are eight rooms where guests can dine with their dogs. Since there's a lot of competition for mealtimes, it's best to decide when you make your reservation. Even the "Delicious Small Kaiseki Kaiseki" was a little on the larger side, including for your dog. Drinks and additional orders are made using a tablet provided in the room. The rooms have been renovated, and the beds are low and easy to use, though a fence to prevent dogs from getting in would be nice. The hot springs are as you'd expect from Ogoto Onsen. The large public bath is small and includes an open-air bath. Since many rooms have their own private baths, the large public bath isn't likely to be overcrowded, although it might be a little crowded. In fact, the maximum number of guests staying was three. There seems to be no switching between men and women.

The portions for dinner and breakfast were very generous, even though they were described as "light set meals." The front desk staff and waitresses were all very friendly. Because the hotel is small, it had a homey atmosphere and I was able to relax. The cute mascot dog came to see me off.

The service attitude is excellent, and they try their best to meet the needs of me and my friends. If we bought a cake, we asked them to get the plate and knife. They will be more considerate and give their friends a surprise without letting them know. Quietly give me the plate and knife.

It is a traditional hot spring hotel. It is worth mentioning that there are several kinds of bath salts in their public bathroom, suitable for different skin types. My skin is very smooth after using it. The dog that saw the guests off was very cute. When the car drove away, I looked back and saw the dog following the waiter and watching at the door of the store.

Despite the language barrier, you can still feel the enthusiasm of the service staff. There is no bathroom in the room booked this time, a large bath is enough. The free large bath has an outdoor part but no view.
