My SO and I stopped here on our way from Tokyo to Kyoto and it's a great way to escape the big city. The reason it isn't solidly a 5 star experience is because the night we went they weren't serving food (we ended up going to a local sushi restaurant which I would recommend even more, but that is coincidental). Overall a great experience, though. Also tattoos seem to be allowed (I have an saw another man who had).

friendly staff and relaxing hotspring bath or onsen.I like their dinnet set ,taste superb for me! staff gave us a free ride for a yugawara matsuri.

Onsen, the hot spring, was not up to the Japanese standard. The water smelled so much like bleach. I couldn't figure out if I were in a public swimming pool or in a nice Japanese onsen.

Also, you have to pay extra 100 yen for the locker and parking per hour. My friends and O do not understand why people even come to this onsen, unless you are someone who's staying in the hotel.

Nice hotel and Onsen but a bit too pricey for what you get. Might be better in the summer and with a group.
