The accommodation is located on a very steep slope with no elevator.

This hotel has very small rooms located in the semi- basement which they brand as first floor. In the dark claustrophobic room, there is one tiny window facing a concrete wall. Beware of these rooms that reminds one of the horror from the Korean movie ‘Parasite’. このホテルには、1階と称して半地下にある非常に狭い部屋がある。暗い閉所恐怖症の部屋に、コンクリートの壁に面した小さな窓がひとつ。韓国映画「パラサイト」のホラーを彷彿とさせるこの部屋には要注意だ。

Many disappointments.
The staff were very friendly, but everything else was disappointing.
I chose this place because it was fully renovated, but it had a Showa-era feel to it.
The three-piece unit in the room was small, and inconvenient for the toilet and washbasin.

The hotel service is very patient. Turn on the air conditioner in advance. The hotel provides a car pick-up and drop-off service to JR Rainomiya Train Station for guests who have made reservations. great. The room booked this time has its own bathroom and shower room.

Disappointing. We arrived late at night, and no one was at the reception. Despite trying to call, we received no answer. After waiting 20 minutes, the concierge finally appeared but didn't bother checking our travel documents. The physical key provided was difficult to use, and the lack of English or French speakers made it impossible to seek information. We felt lost and decided to check out early. It was NOT a pleasant experience, definitely NOT. 😔

Beautiful room. Visited on off season and had the whole onsen to myself. It was great to have this relaxing moment on our roadtrip throughout the country. Amicable staff and soundless nights. Definitely recommend staying here. ( just a note for those traveling heavy. There are no elevators)
