Henn na Hotel Fukuoka Hakata in Fukuoka

This hotel was pretty entertaining, check in would have been a breeze if we booked only one room. the check in is seamless, all automated while the velociraptors look at you. we needed some assistance since both rooms were under one name and the system cannot accept one name for both rooms. the attendant was promptly notified by the check in machine itself and we received assistance quickly. as with most Japanese hotels now, most of the amenities were by the check in counter, robes and razors. The towels and toothbrush were in the room. Ground floor is where you have breakfast - it is self service and the staff refills it. i think this is pretty decent for a meal - no frills... since one would go out to enjoy the japanese cuisine anyway instead of filling up too much on breakfast. the drink bar is very helpful. ice, water, soda and juices. there are snacks in the afternoon and at night, they have a selection of alcohol and popcorn. this is very convenient.
The rooms were surprisingly spacious - we got a twin room and we could open two medium sized luggage and one small hand carry for packing easily. the bath, toilet and sink were all separate which made it very convenient. Some rooms had decor, unfortunately we didnt get one of the special rooms. you can see its special since the door would have decor on it.
they replace the towels and trash bags daily unless you place the do not disturb sign.
Check out is extremely easy. Unless you charged anything to the room, you use the same ATM looking machine to feed it all your dispensed room keys and then youre all checked out.
I do recommend this hotel - its pretty convenient with all the items needed (no skin care or bath bombs though). Would stay here again when i get the chance. Its definitely a different experience!

The hotel's location is convenient for shopping. The breakfast is a simple meal, with homemade gimbap. I booked a concept room which had some special clothes hanging there, but I didn't pay much attention to them, so they didn't really add much. The bathroom's dry and wet separation was quite convenient.

Stayed at Henn na Hotel Fukuoka Hakata and had a great experience. The room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was clean, modern, and the check-in process was smooth. Great location in Hakata as well, making it convenient to explore Fukuoka. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location! The breakfast is simple but filling, and it's a unique hotel with a good overall experience. If you're on a budget and want to check out the Ichiran Ramen main store, this place is highly recommended as it's very close by.

This hotel is conveniently located between Nakasu-Kawabata and Tenjin stations, making it very easy to get to from the airport line. We booked a twin room, which was a good size, and I really liked the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. Breakfast was just okay – enough to fill you up, but not much variety. It's self-check-in, but you can call staff if you have any issues, and someone will come out right away.

The triple room was quite small, but we slept very comfortably. It was cleaned thoroughly and even had an air purifier. The DIY sushi rice for breakfast was a hit with the kids, and the afternoon cookies were delicious too. The two dinosaur greeters at the hotel entrance were a nice touch! Self check-in was convenient. We were very satisfied with our three-night stay. It's a bit of a walk to Canal City Hakata, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel that makes getting to Tenjin and Hakata very easy.

The location is super convenient. It's about a ten-minute walk to Canal City and Tenjin. Yatai food stalls are also very close by. Plus, if you go around the back, the subway's Airport Line is just three stops from the airport. The dinosaur at the front desk is a unique touch!

The location is excellent, with Don Quijote, several drugstores, and shopping malls nearby. It's also quite close to the station, making it very convenient to stay here.

The lobby offers cookies, popcorn, and complimentary drinks and coffee. Ice machines are available on several floors, which is a thoughtful touch.

The two 'dinosaur' gentlemen at check-in and check-out can assist in multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese, making the process very smooth. It's a unique hotel.

The room facilities are complete, and the space is quite large.

Had a great experience. Check-in was done via a self-service machine. The front desk was manned by two 'dinosaurs' (a playful way to describe the staff, possibly implying they were a bit slow or old-fashioned, but in a charming way) who could speak four languages. There was a slight hiccup with the booking process as I had reserved two rooms under one order, but a quick call for human assistance resolved it promptly. The space is very efficiently utilized, and all the amenities are from Refa. Luggage storage was super convenient. The shower pressure was excellent, and there are many convenience stores nearby. It's not far from the subway, and you step out right onto the Hakata Canal, which offers a lovely view.

Great hotel 5 min walking to the subway.There is a shopping arcade nearby and wonderful canal city hakata about 15 min walking.Beds were good and there is a double door leading to the bathroom and a separate toilet room.Funny is you get greeted with some dinosaur at the reception.Check in only at 3 pm but my experience its pretty normal in Japan.Breakfast was sufficient nothing special and its kind of self service.Overal good hotel if you can catch a good price.
