Reviews
Big room for family
Self check-in
Cloth cleaning machine in room
Walk a bit from station but not far
1. The location is super convenient, just about a five-minute walk from the Hakata subway station.
2. The bedding is really comfortable, there's a massage device, they provide mineral water daily, and housekeeping is prompt. The cleaning staff were very polite.
3. Other amenities are also comprehensive; there's a coffee machine on the first floor.
Cons:
1. This hotel gets a lot of guests. Maybe they've been spoiled by too many good online reviews. When I checked in, no one paid attention to me and told me to use the machine myself. Only when my passport wouldn't scan did someone come over to take a look, then they rushed me to pay the taxes. The next day, I found an overcharge on my bill. When I went to the front desk for a refund, they told me I had entered the number of guests myself, and that the backend clearly showed how many passports were registered. The booking stated 'up to two people,' but I was actually staying alone.
2. The first room they gave me faced a bunch of machinery when I opened the window. I mentioned I'd be staying for three nights and hoped it wouldn't be too noisy. Then followed a long wait for them to consult, and eventually, they switched me to a slightly better room.
3. There's a male staff member at the front desk with a really bad attitude.
4. Regardless of other hotel services, the basic job is to properly check in guests. Not being able to check me in and then overcharging, plus not even providing the branded key card holder – the brand must be disappointed.
5. The cleaning in the corners wasn't very thorough. There was even a bloodstain on the bathroom door. Housekeeping didn't wipe it, and I was too lazy to mention it; maybe it was intentionally left for guests to see.
I'd stayed at this chain in another city before and it was excellent, which is why I chose it again. All I can say is, I'm speechless.
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
However, there are some problems and I would like to mention them..
The main problem that I felt was that all receptionists didn't wear a mask. (they just wore a transparent facial shield.)with Covid-19, people all around the world are concerned about sanitation more but It seemed that this hotel was not.
I insist that all staff including receptionists be wearing a masks not a
thin facial shield. It doesn't work at all...
The staff responsible for this matter should recognize this critical issues, which is why this covid-19 is contagious.
Thank you
There is complementary coffee (machine) and water on the 5 Th floor. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again when I’m next here.
