Grand Hyatt Hotel, Fukuoka1 / 41

Fukuoka, Hakata-ku Sumiyoshi 1-2-82 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel amenities are good but the service was not up to standard in Japan, especially when they wear the brand of Gran Hyatt
The rooms blend modern design with Japanese aesthetics, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. The large communal bath features wonderfully soft water, and the sauna facilities are excellent
The hotel is good and the location is convenient, but we are disappointed with the welcomeness we received
We stayed for two nights, and both the room and bathroom were very spacious. The location was incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and drinks, with Ichiran Ramen also just a short walk away
We drove to the hotel, no one greeting or assisting at the drop off area, security was ignoring check in guest and asking to move our car away, the bell boy desk staff was chatting without coming out to assist until requested, front desk staff was professional but not a warm welcome
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right by Canal City and not too far from the airport. The breakfast was incredibly generous

Very classy and comfortable hotel. Building quality was excellent. The service is definitely a highlight and there was a concierge to help with your needs such as booking of restaurant if you do not speak Japanese
The staff members were helpful and friendly. The facilities there were excellent. We had our dinner at the tepanyaki restaurant which was very delicious.
Close to train station, especially enjoy breakfast buffet with good choices. It provides mix fruits juice , and vegetables juice .
Pretty good service, you can drop your luggage there at the morning and someone will deliver to your room later.
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel with my husband as the hotel location is good, staff is polite and helpful. However, I’d like to point out that the hygiene level was not as good as expected this time
The station come with few shopping malls connecting together and if you are not familiar you will get lost ! Haha but nothing to worry about it as long you follow the sign board , and food paradise eat whatever you like and craving for

i think the location is fair, and services is very good. room is clean and bed is new.
Very good location. Big room size. Bed is comfortable. Check in and check out is fast. Recommended.
good location very good experience
Our hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, making it super easy to get around. You'll find a mini-mart, coffee shop, and restaurants right nearby, plus the train station is just a stone's throw away
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The hotel looks quite high-end, and the room was spacious and clean. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around the city
Great location right near to the subway and many eateries. Staff were friendly and helpful, and definitely no complaints about the room

Fukuoka, Hakata-ku Hakata Ekimae 3-3-3 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Just infront of Hakata station, room is big, breakfast excellent, service is good. Value for money and highly recommended.
The service felt largely five-star, despite the absence of doormen, and the lobby's interior design was excellent
Prefect location, just a short walk (3 minutes) from Hakata Station. Excellent service, front desk check in is quick , club lounge staff very helpful. If the hotel have a swimming pool will be nice .
However, when I saw it in person, I was astonished! They had so much more equipment – it felt like they were totally downplaying it! The gym space itself was also genuinely large, and I had a fantastic workout
Turning left out of the lobby entrance, a 200-300 meter walk brings you to Hakata Underground City and the Hakata City complex (which includes Kitte, where you can easily spend a whole day shopping)
Finally, I must add that the young lady who greeted me at the counter during check-in on the first day was beautiful, and her greeting involved a truly authentic Japanese-style bow

I booked a room with no view and it was pretty cheap from Agoda
Convenient location, close to station
Te location is very convenience. There is many good restaurant at walking distance. It is at the center. The room is nice and clean .
The trip was made so much more convenient and fun because of our location. We tried the yatai, Ichiran, Canal Mall, shopped at Tenjin—- all within walking distance from us
The location is quite close to shopping area (Tenjin). You will not have any issue finding good place for eating as they are close by. The staffs are friendly and can speak English well. The room was cozy and clean.
Excellent location near all the shoppings and sightseeings. Room to improve in terms of the online check in process, amenities and level of English of all front desk staff

Fukuoka, 2-8-15 Hakataekimae (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was larger than I expected, with enough space for my 28-inch suitcase. There's also a hot spring bath on the top floor. The location is fantastic, very close to Hakata Station, about a 10-minute walk away
I stayed here on my previous trip as well. The location is incredibly convenient, being close to Hakata Station, Canal City, and several popular bakeries (the ones with queues!)
Breakfast was delicious, with small, clean, and neatly presented Japanese-style dishes. My only minor disappointment was that the sea urchin rice had already run out
The room size is decent enough for two people. Upon check-in, we received complimentary capsule coffee, which we could prepare ourselves using the in-room machine
That said, breakfast was absolutely delicious! The cute little bowls used for serving food were a charming touch, and it certainly put me in a great mood to start the day
However, for those focused on shopping, it's somewhat inconveniently situated between Hakata and Tenjin, meaning it's not truly close to either major shopping district

This is one of the best hotels I ever stayed at! Me and my friend enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel gives luxury vibes with not expensive prices, the staff is very friendly, polite and helpful
It's our second time in monterey hotel watanabe it was so good .. it's near in subways and malls ..near in tenjin and hakata 🥰
The bathroom was also big, with separate toilet room and big bathtub. There even was makeup cleansing oil and bathtub salt. Every day when we returned back to hotel the bathroom smelled incredibly nice after cleaning
The room we booked was incredibly spacious, not only for Japanese hotel room size standards, but generally big, beautiful, clean. The view from the window was fantastic
Best location for shoppung nearby woth wonderful breakfast.
The triple room we booked for the first two days was quite spacious. We wanted to extend our stay, but since that room type was fully booked, we had to settle for a twin room that could accommodate three people

Fukuoka, Hakata-ku Nakasu 4-4-10 (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location of the hotel is prefect just few mins walk to the station. The room is not too small when compared with other hotels in Japan
Great location and onsen on top floor is awesome, open until 2am. Bed wasn’t the comfiest and washroom is small. But use the onsen daily to bathe and life is good.
The room was excellent, and the rooftop hot spring bath was a fantastic bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly and spoke great English, even patiently understanding my rather poor Japanese
With its convenient location and a wonderfully comfortable sleep, I honestly couldn't have asked for anything more
It was beautiful and the kospa was the best. There was a large public bath upstairs that I used every morning and night. A portable temple of the Yamakasa festival was displayed in the shopping area next to it
Room is good, clean, easy to go around the hotel. In a walk distance to shopping, food, minimart.

veriy good position and best choice if you would like yo join local day tour. Most tour depart and return very near hotel.
Staff are nice, good location, nearby hakata station, free coffee machine at the lobby
There’s shin shin ramen and other types of ramen around and a bento shop for u to grab a bento before u hop into the train!
Typical small Japanese hotel that’s located just beside the train station with many shopping around
Honestly its expensive for the size of the room (the size of the room is pretty standard for a business hotel in japan, the bathroom though, I feel its way too smaller compared to the other business hotels I've stayed at)and the amenities it offers but i guess you are paying for the location
I only stayed for 1 night and I have a water bottle in my room. There's toiletries in the lobby (toothbrush, shower cap, facial skin cleanser, toner, cream, etc. ) There's also free coffee and tea

This hotel is so great! Location is good. Above all, Hotelier is excellent!(I can’t remember her name) She speaks Korean perpectly (I thought that she is Koean). And she is professional and skillful
The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to Tenjin Station and the commercial district. With two convenience stores nearby, shopping and getting around are incredibly convenient
Fantastic location, and the service was excellent. I didn't have any meal in the restaurant, but breakfast is always excellent, and the atmosphere and service are great. The lounge area is spacious and beautiful as well
The hotel's exterior looks very upscale. While the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are still good, and the rooms are clean and tidy
The best part is its excellent location near Tenjin Street, which is perfect for shopping and exploring, and it's also very close to Ichiran Ramen
Excellent location. Spacious room. Near shopping centres and JR station and subway station. Very convenient to other tourist spots.

Clean and spacious room located in trendy Tenjin. In-room washer/dryer was also very convenient. Check in and check out was completely fuss-free. Breakfast selection was small but the food was delicious and good quality
The hotel location was excellent. Bus stops right in front. Only 4 stops to Hakata Station by bus. Room size was great for Japanese standard. The in-room washer was a big plus. I will come back to stay again.
Guest can pay extra charge (from $500 yen to $1,000 yen, etc) each time to clean the room, make the bed, change the sheets or request extra towels. I like this arrangement, which offer me more flexibility and privacy!
Love our room, very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Comes with almost everything, especially the washer with dryer. I used it everyday, done with laundry before I was back to home country.
We stayed here too about a week ago and hotel provides free luggage storage (for our large suitcase) for our 2nd check in. Location is excellent with bus terminal and subway station very close by
Great Value for money, large rooms and great location. Walking distance between three metro stations and plenty of good restaurants.

Easy acess by underground passage from hakata station.Clean room.Bath tub with aroma salt bath is very relieve from fatique day walk.Good breakfast.
The location is good! It closes to the Hakata main station. The check-in time is sharply at 15:00. If you arrive early, like 1430, the old man receptionist would tell you the check-in time is 1500
It would be better if the hotel can provide more training to that old man staff. In general, it is good if you just simply would like to stay for 1-2 nights
Love its toilet & bathroom was separated and with extra space for luggage right next to the entrance. Definitely will come back to this hotel if travel to Fukuoka
Just a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station, it's incredibly convenient to get to from the airport. The surrounding area is well-equipped with great amenities
The hotel is just a 5 minutes walk from Hakata Station. Very helpful English speaking staff. There's a Lawson just 50 m in front of the hotel.

Really nice hotel. Food was great. Bath house was good. Very relaxing. Good location too
Good location with walking distance to Hakata Station and Kushida Shrine Station. Room is clean and overall is good.
Hotel is conveniently located within a 10 mins walk from Hakata station and a few mins walk to Kushida Shrine station. Room is spacious enough for 2 people, including a large and medium luggage
Being so close to the JR train station made getting around Fukuoka a breeze, and I loved how easy it was to walk to nearby spots like the Nakasu District, JR Hakata City Amu Plaza Hakata, and Canal City shopping mall
Comfortable and clean stay as the housekeeping is done daily upon request. Bedroom slippers are provided but they are the non disposable kind
The service is good, the front desk staff can understand English very well and are very polite. I have reserved a room with double bed, it is not very big but with a sofa and i am able to open my luggage

Good service and location. Would recommend

Excellent and clean luxurious hotel right next to Hakata station.
Excellent location, good services and really enjoyed the spa 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
nice location for shopping - can reach JR station and underground from its B1 Good restaurants- many high ranking restaurants near by such as Mushashi beef bowl,Rikyu beef tongue good amenities- have nice onsen for recharge after one day of shopping
Miyako Hotel Hakata is in a fantastic location — right across from Hakata Station and surrounded by plenty of malls, shops, and restaurants. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped
Room is very clean with sufficient light in place. Except for not having the gym facility, I am totally satisfied with the hotel location, staff services as well as the facility of the hotel
One of the highlights is the spa area, which includes both indoor and outdoor bath on rooftop (13F) — very relaxing after a long day. One downside during our stay was the parking situation

Good service in the lobby. Clean and tidy room. Room size is spacious for placing two to three luggages. But the lobby is quite dark and make my kids feel frightened.
clean and tidy. grand lobby, fast checkin. convenient stores nearby, location not the best
My experience from check-in to check-out was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 7-8 minute walk from the JR station
We booked Kawapet 3 for 2 adults and 2 children. The room was spacious and very clean, and there was even a friendly staff member at the front desk who spoke Chinese
It's conveniently located very close to Hakata Station and also to that popular bakery beginning with 'D'. There's a FamilyMart convenience store right downstairs, along with two nice-looking barbershops
I had informed them in advance via email that it was my birthday on the check-in day, and the front desk staff were wonderful and upgraded my room. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation

Good location Near tourist attractions The staff provided very good service.
The room was very small, but that’s typical of Japanese business hotels. On the bright side, it’s close to a department stores and Tenjin Station, and the hotel breakfast buffet was truly excellent
It is very convenient to walk to Tenjin- Minami Station ( Exit 12c West), Daimaru, Mitsukoshi, Parco and Iwataya through the underground. Room size is good
Overall, the hotel is quite good and reasonable price. I will book this hotel again.
About 5 minutes walk and and abundance of eateries available. Just in front of the hotel Yatais will set up for business on most of the evenings. 10 minutes walk to the subway with an underground shopping mall
I booked a non-smoking room, but when I checked in, the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Fortunately, there was an air purifier, and after running it on high for half a day, the smell improved a bit

It was pretty compact but good enough since it was just me, although a large piece of luggage would get in the way. The bathtub was also not full-size, but I made do. The cleaning lady was sweet and met my needs
The hotel breakfast was good with modest amount of food choices, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, I think this accommodation provides good value for money with great service and friendly staff
Service is good. Hotel main building has been renovated recently and looks fashionable. Room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Great value for money.
Nice room, but I feel good for 1 pax. 2 pax will be too clamp. 5min cross the room.to subway, it is very easy. 1 stop away got Mcdonald n KFC.

Good location, nice drinks and wine, bottle water provided, all good and worth to stay.
More spacious than oriental hotel hakata. Made good use of space in room. Not that close to train station but walkable. Lobby provides free hot drinks and finally a hotel that provides shower cap!
