Room is a bit dusty, front desk staff a bit cold, otherwise location and the free beverages and snacks are just great !!

Nice hotel with good amenities and very convenient location but the room can be very small and the staff at the reception hardly speaks English and not as friendly as one will expect.

Nice to have welcome drinks and foods. Room size is just suitable. General breakfast like most hotels but it has some Fukuoka signature dishes. Of course it’s not like those signature restaurants but more like home-cooking taste.

The room is too small. There's no place to open up our luggages at all. Overall the room is very clean but the carpet & quilt were very old. The maruhati pillows were excellent.

This hotel is pretty standard for a cheap Japanese business hotel experience, so no complaints about the amenities, but they still use physical keys for the hotel rooms, and they ask that you leave the key with the front desk every time you leave the hotel which is pretty annoying.

Room: Small, but cheap and very clean. Not really enough sockets for the number of things you need to charge these days. Service: The hotel let me leave my suitcase with them both before and after check-in and check-out. They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card....

Location: It's inside a shopping mall, quite small though. Hygiene: Similar to business hotels in Japan, pretty clean. However, the facilities are very old, and there's only one power outlet, which is super inconvenient.

Great location, but the hotel facilities are really old. It was scorching hot inside the room in March, and the AC wasn't working, so we had to open the window for air. Being right next to Canal City was incredibly noisy. The sound of the fountains went on late into the night.

I've stayed here dozens of times over the years. The location, accessibility, and value for money are the main reasons I keep coming back. While the standard rooms are indeed quite small, typical of Japan, and the hotel is a bit older, it's generally well-maintained. Overall, it's a good choice!

Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station. Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient. Would stay again!

This hotel does not have air conditioning. It is ideally located but very average. Not so clean for a Japanese hotel. For the sane price choose another hotel

The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was quiet, clean, and well-equipped. It's small, but perfect for a solo traveler.

The single room was spacious enough for one person and had everything you need. It also had a microwave and washing machines on some floors. The location was great, just behind the Central Station. The best part was that you could check in at 1pm and check out at 12pm which is better than almost every other hotel. Checkout was also a seamless process

Second time staying at this hotel and booked this again for my family trip this round! Really wonderful hospitality from the hotel staff and the 1pm check in timing was helpful for us to rest after a red eye flight. Hotel room is very clean and has all the basic necessities provided. Coin laundry and vending machines are available at alternate levels too.

I stayed at this hotel ten years ago and absolutely loved it! When I visited Fukuoka again, I chose it because of its excellent cleanliness, which I'm still very satisfied with. The surrounding area is also convenient for getting around, and it's close to the subway station. However, perhaps due to the current situation, I felt the front desk service has declined significantly compared to a decade...

The hotel is a 20-minute walk (1.6 km) from Hakata Station, or a 70 RMB taxi ride if you use Didi. Overall, it's quite convenient. The hotel itself is very new, and the staff offers smiling service. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the Tenjin shopping district and Tenjin Underground Mall. There's also a convenience store very close by.

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Watanabe-dori Station (Nanakuma Line), with easy access to both Hakata and Tenjin. The property is clean and well maintained, and the laundry facilities on the first floor are very practical. A FamilyMart right across the street adds extra convenience. Overall, great value for money and highly recommended.

The room was spacious and the location was great, just a ten-minute walk from Tenjin. What's more, it's very close to the subway station and has an elevator, which made moving my luggage around super easy! It was a bit of a splurge for one person, but it would be absolutely perfect for two.

The hotel’s location was great, with easy access to Hakata station via an exit just outside the side entrance of the hotel. However the side entrance closes early. Quiet at night, with convenient transportation nearby.

This hotel is right across the Hakata Station so the location is excellent especially if you're going to have a lot of day trips from fukuoka. The hotel serves delicious breakfast.

This is our 2nd stay here and we will consider staying here again. It’s right across the Hakata train station and and AMU Plaza where we saw the bullet train display. Service is excellent. 3 days before our check in, we left some of our luggages here for our beppu trip. They are very considerate.

Great location. Be aware that breakfast can get crowded, so you might have to queue. The same goes for check-in at 3 PM, so it's best to go during off-peak hours if possible.

A small and cozy room but easily accessible via the metro. With the famous Shin Shin just behind the hotel, you can go get your ramen craving anytime.

Very good location. Access via Exit 5 from HULIC for escalator excess, or west 1 for nearest exit. 2 family mart 1 Lawson just nearby. Lot of foods. Shin Shin popular ramen and Full Full mentaiko bread just behind n beside the hotel. Also drug store beside hotel. Many shopping malls near the hotels

Breakfast is amazing. Didn’t expect this extravagant breakfast and it is worth the price, compensating small room size but as expected room in the city. When enter the hotel entrace, the esthetic and fragrance smell is nice. Welcome drink is white wine and that is a win!! Overall is good hotel experience (this hotel has no parking lot but can park at nearby building) and staff is very nice.

Easy check in. Luggage hold before check in time and after checkout convenient. We had the breakfast which was nothing fancy but excellent. Location: The Gion station is not far from Hakata station on foot. This was one of the few places that offered twin rooms.

Our twin rooms were spacious even with three beds. The hotel is just next to Gion subway exit 6 which has elevator. The service is good. Breakfast is passable - would rather buy from the convenience store across the road. Only downside is that the area is not a shopping area. Better to book Hakata, Nakasu or Tenjin which are the more vibrant shopping areas

This hotel is conveniently located in Fukuoka's Tenjin business district, just a five to six-minute walk from the long-distance bus station. It's clean and has all the basic amenities. Not only was it dust-free, which is a given, but when I sat in the bathtub, there wasn't a speck of mold – it was spotless. Great location near Hakata Station and subway. Onsen was relaxing and breakfast was decent, but the room was very small, dated, and had a strong cigarette smell. Overall felt overpriced.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right across the street from Hakata Station. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. The bus terminal is also just across the road, and a taxi to the airport costs around 2030 yen. It's definitely the top choice when visiting Fukuoka.

Cleanliness: Japanese hotels are consistently great when it comes to cleanliness; everything is always spotless and tidy. Transportation: The location is very convenient, close to a shopping district, and there's even the original Ichiran ramen shop nearby. This is our second stay here in two years, and now it's packed with Koreans. There were Korean staff at the front desk, but no Chinese-speaking staff this time. The cleanliness was a bit of a surprise; it's the first time I've encountered something like this in Japan – there was still lipstick on the cups, and the landline phone was covered in dust. It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, but...

Best thing about the hotel is probably the onsen at the basement of the main building. Mostly Japanese and Koreans gentlemen when I visit the onsen. Booking the main building is better so you don't have to walk for the onsen. Room in main building is only a few dollars more. Room is pretty big for 1 pax, enough space to open luggage beside the bed. Otherwise, pretty standard fare. Only bad thing...

We had checked in to Hokke Clud Hotel2 times during this vacation. We love the facilities provided, breakfast is really nice and we are looking forward our buffet breakfast every morning. Within walking distance of 10 minutes from Hakata station. We wish to be back one day in future with our family again.

A very nice hotel, neat and tidy. The public bath is very clean and well maintained. The hotel offers a good variety of welcome drinks and breakfast food including Japanese, Chinese and Western cuisines. Less than 10 minutes walk from the Hakata Station if exiting from the West 23 exiit of the station.

Good breakfast. Some staff can speak English. Housekeeping staff is meticulous. Washing machines are available and split into male and female side. Guests get to have free drinks (matcha latte, coffee etc) at the lounge from late afternoon to 9pm. Next to Sumiyoshi shrine.

The location is great! It is close to the subway station and near Naka River. You can walk to Yatai Zone in a short distance. It is also near Donki, MatsuKiyo, Kawabata Shopping Street and Ichiran Ramen Original Store. The hotel has a luxury design. The room is cozy. Even though it is 12 sq.m., I can still unpack my 28-inch luggage by moving the chair aside. There are pajamas provided. Great facilities...

The room was fine for one person, however a bit too small as well as the bathroom. There is no possibility to use a hairdryer near the mirror, which I found extremely inconvenient. The sound isolation is poor. Acceptable for 1-2 nights, not longer.

Price per night was pretty expensive for buisness hotel and whilst that is normal for fukouka that did not justify the price for this place in my opinion. The room was clean but very small by business hotel standards but was manageable nonetheless. The worst part I feel about this hotel is that the front desk and main entrance are mixed together with a bar on the same floor so at the evening/ night...

Tiny and dark room/bathroom. No AC, only heating available and it was very hot inside the room. No soundproof, so if people in the room next door talk all night = no sleep. Breakfast is only a fixed menu (some sushi pieces and meat with gravy) with no options and it‘s the same tasteless menu everyday.  Location is great.

Everything thicks out. This place offers everything you want and charges you a little. Strongly recommend. Right next to the infamous ichiran ramen place. You can also use the parking for 1800yen per day. Car has to be a small (under 1600cm).

I stay for 4 nite, it’s really incredibly convenient to go everywhere. I stop at Kushida Shrine Station (exit 3) and it’s only two minutes’ walk away. From there, it’s a three-minute walk to Kushida Shrine and Kawabata. You can also walk to the Tenjin area in about 10-15 minutes and there are many restaurants around. I tried breakfast at the hotel and it was really nice and the food was of good quality...

The location is fantastic, close to everything, and the staff are all really friendly. However, the hallway isn't soundproof at all. There were Koreans next door who started making noise and slamming doors exactly from midnight onwards, so I couldn't get any sleep at all 😵💫

The best things are full of mini packs of hygienic supplies free for collection. Secondly, the breakfast is very yummy and high quality. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Hakata Station. The shopping mall inside Hakata Station has everything you could need, from pharmacies to great food options. This hotel is much more spacious than other hotels in the same price range. I could easily open my 30-inch suitcase without it getting in the way of moving around the room. Highly recommended!

My stay at Richmond Hotel Hakata Ekimae during my trip to Japan was fantastic, and I highly recommend it to everyone. The hotel's location is absolutely superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the right from the Chikushi Exit of Hakata Station, which is incredibly convenient for travelers with luggage. The area offers excellent amenities; right next door is the large electronics store Yodobashi Camera...

The Japanese staff were absolutely amazing! The hotel even offered free face masks, which was a lovely touch. The room was really clean, and the location was fantastic – super convenient for getting around. I would definitely stay here again!
