Convenient location to a major bus/train station. The room is small but probably on par with area hotels. Extremely nice staff, although there was not an English speaker available at the front desk when we checked in. Plenty of room amenities (fabric deodorizer, razors, smart phone) and the leave extra towels, etc. if you put up a do not disturb sign.

This hotel is located in the heart of Hakata City. I had a one night stay in this hotel during my transit. Best part about the hotel is the location as there is many convenience stores, coffee shop like starbucks, restaurants and shopping malls nearby. This hotel is conveniently located outside JR Hakata station. Staff can speak conversational English. The room is cozy aka small. Rooms are a bit outdated but clean enough. While I stayed at a non-smoking floor, some parts smell of cigarettes (I blame the guests, not the hotel). My floor, 5th, has a vending machine and is convenient. Centrally located in Fukuoka right inside Canal City shopping mall. Easy walking distance to street stall food and numerous restaurants. Parking was in the mall parking lot and you'll need to walk up stairs and take escalators to get to the check-in lobby. Rooms are a bit dated with a small bathroom. We would probably try another hotel next time around.

All things is good ,but inside the bathroom there is no things you have to come to near reception to brings things like brush, comb ....etc

The location is GREAT! It is actually in the Canal City Shopping Center, all you need to do is catch the elevator from your room floor right down to the mall. The room was very clean.

Typical small Japanese hotel that’s located just beside the train station with many shopping around. There’s shin shin ramen and other types of ramen around and a bento shop for u to grab a bento before u hop into the train!

Love our room, very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Comes with almost everything, especially the washer with dryer. I used it everyday, done with laundry before I was back to home country.

The hotel location was excellent. Bus stops right in front. Only 4 stops to Hakata Station by bus. Room size was great for Japanese standard. The in-room washer was a big plus. I will come back to stay again.

Clean and spacious room located in trendy Tenjin. In-room washer/dryer was also very convenient. Check in and check out was completely fuss-free. Breakfast selection was small but the food was delicious and good quality. Food tray should be returned to the wire rack at the middle after dining. Recommend using exit 3 instead of exit 6 for heavy luggage as exit 3 has an up escalator.

About 6 mins walk from Hakata station to hotel. Managed to open my suitcase wide in the room, between my bed & wall, barely, but i believe it's better than many of the rooms in Japan.

Great location. Hotel is quite close to the Hakata train station. About 10 mins walk. Rooms are not big typical of Japanese hotels. Check in and out process is super fast. WiFi in room is fine in terms of speed but cuts out occasionally.

The hotel may be a little dated for some but we liked it. A reliable, clean and convenient hotel. Within walking distance from Hakata train station, bus terminal, and on the side of the train station where many tour groups meet. Lots of food at the nearby malls, station and bus terminal. Supermarket at the Yobadashi store level 4. The room had a wall projector which was unique.

Great location just minutes from Hakata station. Rooms weren't large but adequate for a short stay. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout the hotel which was an unexpected treat since many lodging facilities have become less and less service oriented. Looking forward to our next stay at Toyo Hotel.

The location is convenient.  It’s near the shopping malls, restaurants and few min walk from Tenjin Miami subway.  The Hollywood twin room is big enough for a family with 1 kid.

The food is nice, and have enough choices, above normal standard.

The rooms were rather spacious for Japan. Especially the corner room with two double beds for 3 paxs. The price was worth every cent but early booking is required. About 5 minutes walk and and abundance of eateries available. Just in front of the hotel Yatais will set up for business on most of the evenings. 10 minutes walk to the subway with an underground shopping mall. The best hotel so far.

The hotel looks relatively new. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I had a room for solo person and it was expectedly small, with limited space for luggages and moving around. The hotel breakfast was good with modest amount of food choices, but nothing extraordinary. Overall, I think this accommodation provides good value for money with great service and friendly staff.

It's roughly a 5-minute walk from the airport subway station, and very close to Parco, Tenjin Underground Shopping Center, and various trendy restaurants. Nakasu is a little further away, but overall, the location is quite convenient. The room was generally clean, but the facilities were noticeably dated. While some of the finer details of cleanliness were lacking, it was generally acceptable.

Essentially decent for a small room space. Bed mattress was worn out slumping deep in the middle. There were stubborn stains on the room wall, and noticed a stain patch on my quilt cover, which I informed the front desk, and efficiently they informed housekeeping to work on the change. Check out time is strictly early at 10am, while Check in time is late at 3pm, compared with other hotels in Japan...

The location is great and the staff is helpful and friendly. It’s rather convenient for driving tourists that they have their own car park. The parking fee is 1500JPY per day and available on first come first served. However, the washroom is always smells bad with cigarettes even it’s a non smoking room.

There is a delicious chicken hotpot restaurant at the steps of hotel. Amenities in hotels are perfectly well equipped. Cleanliness can be put more effort especially on carpet and sofa. The affiliated carparks are located 2 to 3 minutes walk, perfectly for those whose don’t have a big luggage.

It's close to the dome and the beach, about a 10-minute walk away. The floors were wooden. It's a little old, but the desk is spacious and useful for organizing your luggage. Basic amenities are provided. I'm happy to have stayed in a single room at such a low price this time.
