APA Hotel & Resort Hakata Ekihigashi, Fukuoka1 / 8
8.5
Fukuoka, 1-18-1 Hakataekihigashi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Nice and clean. Rooms are small but it has everything. Very compact so it's good for one or two nights' short stay with minimal luggage.
air condition is good. reasonable. good location
Room: Small, but cheap and very clean. Not really enough sockets for the number of things you need to charge these days. Service: The hotel let me leave my suitcase with them both before and after check-in and check-out
Compared to a UK station it’s amazing. Compared to other Japanese stations such as Shin-Osaka it’s just very good. Great food options and as a station has great connections and friendly staff
They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card
Service was great, and room is clean, but the building and it's room definitely shows it's age.

Fukuoka, 1-2-82 Sumiyoshi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The location is incredibly convenient and just amazing! It's even walkable to the airport, though I still opted for a taxi. All the shopping, dining, and attractions are within a 20-minute walk.
The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Canal City, so you can go shopping as soon as you step out. The service is fantastic, and everyone is very friendly
We stayed for two nights, and both the room and bathroom were very spacious. The location was incredibly convenient for dining, shopping, and drinks, with Ichiran Ramen also just a short walk away
This hotel is super convenient! It's just one subway stop away from both Hakata Station and Tenjin, and right next to Canal City Hakata
The hotel is located in the city center, about 4km from Fukuoka Airport by taxi, which cost around 2300 yen
There's a Don Quijote about a ten-minute walk away, and a Family Mart right downstairs. The service at the hotel was excellent; someone helped me with my luggage as soon as I arrived

Fukuoka, 5-1-12 Nakasu Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Toyama and his beautiful team of girls are so efficient, professional and friendly!!! I stay in Vessel Inn because of the beautiful and lovely staffs!!! Eric Room 1407
HOTEL ATE DOWNNNN WORTH THE PRICE AND THERE WAS FREE AMENITIES ON THE FIRST FLOOR??? SLAY???
The rooms might be small but Toyama and his staffs have bigger hearts and better Professional Services than most 5 Stars Hotels! Even Okura Front Receptions CANNOT compare with Vessel Inn’s Front Receptions
Room is a bit dusty, front desk staff a bit cold, otherwise location and the free beverages and snacks are just great !!
Amenities include face and hair treatment for the women ❤️ There's coin laundry, vending machine and microwave oven. Welcome drinks and snacks available from 3 to 11pm. Location is a minute walk from Nakasu station
Good location, only 250 m from subway. Many restaurants and can walk to Kushida shrine and 1 station from Tenjin. Have a Japanese confectionary and welcome cup noodle. Small room but full amenities.

Canal City Fukuoka Washington Hotel, Fukuoka1 / 23

Fukuoka, 1 Chome-2-20 Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Location: It's inside a shopping mall, quite small though. Hygiene: Similar to business hotels in Japan, pretty clean. However, the facilities are very old, and there's only one power outlet, which is super inconvenient.
The hotel was highly accessible to nearby shops and restaurants. It’s also a walkable distance to the hakata station. You may also easily find the parking slot next to the hotel.
Great location, but the hotel facilities are really old. It was scorching hot inside the room in March, and the AC wasn't working, so we had to open the window for air. Being right next to Canal City was incredibly noisy
Great stay at Canal City Washington Hotel! Perfect location right next to Canal City Hakata with lots of food and shopping nearby, and walkable to Hakata Station
Room was clean, comfortable, and quiet—ideal for a solo traveler. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Excellent value and very convenient
Nice location of the hotel. 1700yen for parking over night. nice bar opposite of the hotel

Fukuoka, 2 Chome-18-25 Hakata Ekimae, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very conveniently located within minutes of Hakata station. Service was efficient and warm. Room was above average size for Fukuoka and very well cleaned. Didn't get to the restaurants however they looked very nice
Kind staff that understand me with even though I know 0 Japanese and coming from Canada the staff are really the best. They go way way beyond my expectations of what a hotel staff are supposed to do
The room was great and was prepared exactly as we asked for and the room service was also so fast and clean
The lobby as you enter the hotel was nothing but luxurious vibes with changing displays to make me feel like "wow Japan is so nice to be at"
The train station is also connected via the elevator so it was very convenient too. Being with a baby the only thing missing was laundry but all else was great and the closest laundry was 1km away
All the front desk staff I encountered were friendly, polite, and helpful. The hotel is very close to Hakata Station, only about a 3–5 minute walk. Ichiran Ramen is also nearby, which made it very convenient

Hakata Green Hotel No.1, Fukuoka1 / 29
9.1
Fukuoka, 4-4 Hakata-eki Chuo-gai (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The single room was spacious enough for one person and had everything you need. It also had a microwave and washing machines on some floors. The location was great, just behind the Central Station
Second time staying at this hotel and booked this again for my family trip this round! Really wonderful hospitality from the hotel staff and the 1pm check in timing was helpful for us to rest after a red eye flight
I had a great stay at Hakata Green Hotel No. 1. The location was convenient, the room was comfortable, and the service was excellent. I was very satisfied with my experience and would happily stay here again.
Although the room was small, it was well-equipped, clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The best part is its great location, just a 3-minute walk to the station, which is incredibly convenient
The hotel is conveniently located near Hakata Station, making transportation very easy. There are many shops nearby, which is great for shopping. The room was quiet, clean, and well-equipped
However, perhaps due to the current situation, I felt the front desk service has declined significantly compared to a decade ago. There's a lack of warmth, let alone thoroughness

Fukuoka, 4 Chome-6-7 Nakasu, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room is spacious with fantastic views of the nearby canal. Highly recommended for a good stay in Fukuoka
The hotel is centrally located in the city centre. The facilities are a bit old though.
This hotel is located in Nakasu, right in front of the famous yatai (food stalls), making it incredibly convenient for late-night snacks. Nearby, you'll also find the 24-hour Ichiran Ramen main store and Don Quijote.
The hotel is located in prime district with many convenience stores and eatery around. The famous Yatai street is within walking distance. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful throughout our stay
The room was very clean and had a nice view. The location is also excellent, with plenty of ramen shops, yakiniku restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, making it super convenient for food and drinks
Stayed for 4 nights, the unified air conditioning is not working. We have to open the window for ventilation and allow cool air in. However outside was noisy and it affect the sleeping quality

Mitsui Garden Hotel Fukuoka Gion, Fukuoka1 / 25

Fukuoka, 2-8-15, Hakataekimae, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
This hotel is excellent for its buffet breakfast selection with many quality Japanese food items as well as it’s very nice rooftop onsen with an open air area, so relaxing
To be honest, when I first checked in, I thought the room was really small
meter twin room couldn't even fit a 28-inch suitcase laid flat, and at 1800 a night including breakfast, it really didn't feel worth it! However, I was genuinely surprised by the breakfast — the taste and texture truly captured the exquisite essence of Japanese cuisine! The rooftop onsen (hot spring) was also a big plus, making it somewhat worthwhile after all!
The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance of Gion Station on the Airport Line, Kushida Shrine Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line, Hakata Station, as well as Canal City Hakata, Kushida Shrine, and Nakasu Kawabata street
Great location with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Easy walk to Hakata Station, making travel convenient. The staff were friendly and polite, enhancing the overall experience.
Room is very clean and well maintained. Located very close to the Hakata station. Breakfast is fantastic, can’t believe that they have so many variety

Fukuoka, 4-4-10 Nakasu Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Hotel location good and Canal City in walking distance, but room cleaning is not provide every day, maybe there is a new rule in Japan hotel, even my second hotel in this trip also provide cleaning services on alternate day
Very modern and cozy place. Family Mart is in the building, very convenient. The place smell great, just like spa. Location is pretty Central, close to a lot of attractions, restaurants and bars.
The front desk employee very professional and friendly. Enjoy the stay with excellent service.  The room is clean just one small point on; the headboard bed was a little dusty so I clean up a bit and it was ok.
Location is nearby restaurants and shopping. Although it is in the interesting redlight district
The restaurants around are also nice, especially for the recommended restaurants from the hotel. We had our great first trip to Fukuoka here
The hotel is very minimalistic but the location is excellent. The public bath is also quite enjoyable. However for families, remember that Nakasu is a night club/karaoke area at night!

TKP SUNLIFE HOTEL, Fukuoka1 / 30
8.4
Fukuoka, Hakataekihigashi, 1-12-3, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The cost of hotels in central Hakata is very high compared even to Tokyo because there is a lack of rooms in a growing city which is a hub for neighbour asian tourists
The hotel only provides 2 free bottles of water when we checked in. There’s no daily supply of water throughout the stay. Although hot water is available at the hotel lobby, there’s no cold water dispenser
The hotel’s location was great, with easy access to Hakata station via an exit just outside the side entrance of the hotel. However the side entrance closes early
This causes inconvenience during one of the rainy days when we were back late cos we have to walked to the main entrance where there’s no sheltered pathway
That’s the explanation why such a bad hotel that is cheaper than others - but still expensive - and has an excellent situation can survive
Quiet at night, with convenient transportation nearby.

we have an excellent stay here from May 3 to 9, 2026 with my family. The hotel location was great and bfast was excellent. Everythibg is worth it. For sure will be back again here. thank you so much hotel okara fukuokq
Our booking confirmation very explicitly said "breakfast for 3 persons included" on every single day of the stay; only during the first breakfast we noticed that we had only been given breakfast coupons for two adults per day
Rooms and location are great; swimming pool not being available to children is a bit of a minus. Very negative experience with the staff at the reception: Booked a room for 2 adults + 1 child
Hotel is very clean and staffs from front desk were very friendly Its just beside the mall amd no worries on finding food! The parking was shared with a mall and charged at reasonable price of 2000yen daily Happy to stay here!
Really nice staff and very good place to visit. The hotel is connected to the Nakasu-Kawabata which is really convenient to travel in the city to Tenjin or Hakata.
The room looks a little outdated - especially the bathroom, but overall my stay was comfortable and I had a great time in Fukuoka

Convenient location, walking distance to both station , 15 min walk to canal city and another 3 min further the night food stands cozy breakfast buffet and yummy selection, please have an empty stomach, we tried their brunch buffet so worth it ! Rooms are so new and clean! Little bit tight for a 6 foot man, I manage to slip my 28 inch luggage under the desk
New and clean, with friendly and cheerful staff. The room was smaller than expected since it was a twin with the beds placed side by side. Breakfast was varied and tasty.
The location is very convenient - only about a 8-minute walk from Hakata Station. The room is a bit small, but well-equipped. The bathroom and toilet are separate
When I booked the hotel, breakfast wasn't included, but they gave me breakfast vouchers upon check-in, and the selection was quite extensive
Just 5 minutes walk from Hakata Station, very convenient. Room is big and clean, toilet and bath room is separated. Bath tub is also big.
But for girls with only hand carry luggage is cozy. Skincare amenities by hotel counter , toothbrush available in room

The location is excellent, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to popular shopping malls, making shopping a breeze
Large room space, 3 mins to station and around with mall. All facilities in the room brand new, not noisy in the room although located in city center, may be nice room renovation.
This hotel offers thoughtful and attentive service, from a smooth check-in process to efficient and detailed responses to all requests

Staff are friendly and approachable. Hotel room is reasonable size. To open luggage, it has to be at the walk way to own toilet. Only three items in the gym room. There are four washing machines
The public bath is great as they provide towels there so you do not need to bring towels from your room. If the public bath has some light music will b even better for a relaxing time
They have nice beds, private bath, closet, and perfect amenities. I love these towels and hair dryers. Gym area is a bit small for me but ok. They also have a large public bath
I had a very pleasant stay at The Blossom Hakata Premier. The room was clean, nice, and very comfortable perfect for relaxing after a long day out
The location is great, with plenty of good food options around the hotel. There’s even a very popular breakfast café right beside it, which makes mornings super convenient
Although it’s a short walk to Hakata Station, the distance is still manageable as long as it’s not raining. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay

Fukuoka, 1-9-36 Hakata Eki Higashi (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Although the selection isn't huge, it's very clean and a typical Japanese breakfast. About 500 meters away, on the fourth floor of the Yodobashi Camera store, there's a supermarket where you can buy lots of things
Location: The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the back exit of Hakata Station, making it quite convenient. There are also convenience stores nearby. Room Size: A typical small Japanese room
My husband and I booked Toyo Hotel because of the location AND it was the only one at the time that had 2 double beds as bedding option whereas nearby hotels had only offered single, and it was one of the BEST decisions we’ve made for this trip! Apart from the room and bedding option being great, the location is too! It’s surrounded by Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson, PLUS a 24 hours pharmacy/cosmetics...
You can only open two suitcases in the narrow hallway. Room Amenities: The bathroom has shampoo, body wash, disposable toothbrushes, etc. At the front desk, you can pick up small samples of toner, tea bags, and coffee
I chose this hotel because it's close to Riboudou Station, and it was indeed very convenient. With plenty of shopping and dining options both inside and outside the station area, my stay was excellent
Good enough for the price and location. We only stayed for a night as our flight was early morning so the location of the hotel. was perfect as it was very near Hakata station

Fukuoka, 4-23 Hakataekichuogai, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka Hakata boasts an unbeatable location, making travel incredibly convenient. It's just a 1-minute walk directly to JR Hakata Station, and the subway exit connects seamlessly to the hotel
The service is excellent, and the room was clean. The room was really small so should probably try to book a king size room if I visit again. The hotel has a coin laundry with 3 machines which is useful
Second stay at this hotel. Love the convenience and great location. Highly recommended.
Even though the windows don't open, the room generally doesn't feel stuffy. Also, some of the building materials are really poor quality, like the particle board, countertops, and steel frames
The downsides were that there were a lot of spills and wet areas around the buffet, and no one was cleaning them up. Also, the air conditioning was too cold
The room is spacious enough and the bedding is comfortable. The bathroom amenities are excellent, with a Refa showerhead and hairdryer, which felt amazing

The location is excellent as Gion Station is right nearby, and Hakata Station is only about a 10-minute walk. Overall, a fantastic stay for two people
The hotel has 13 floors, and check-in and check-out are done via self-service machines with Chinese menus, which is quite convenient
Simple, clean rooms with good room amenities. Great location, next to bus stop and subway station.
Our twin rooms were spacious even with three beds. The hotel is just next to Gion subway exit 6 which has elevator. Breakfast is passable - would rather buy from the convenience store across the road
Very impressed with the hotel’s room design. It's simple, spacious and thoughtfully designed for guests’ comfort
Facilities: The twin room was very spacious and even had a massage chair. Service: The front desk staff spoke English, and the self check-in/check-out process was clear and easy to follow

the staffs are friendly and easy to talk to. the whole hotel is very well maintain and very clean… from the restaurant down to the public spa, all are very clean and in order. i will definitely come back again…
I had a great stay at Miyako Hotel Hakata. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around Fukuoka very easy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient
The rooftop hot spring offers mountain views. The room size is comparable to a 300 sq ft room in Anqing. It's right next to the high-speed rail station, so getting a taxi can be a hassle.
The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, and daily housekeeping kept it spotlessly clean. I’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Fukuoka
There's also an airport shuttle bus (310 JPY, cashless payment only) directly across from the hotel. The cleanliness and staff service were absolutely fantastic!
The room is spacious. The location is good! Hakata station is just opposite the hotel. The services are great. The breakfast buffet is nice and worth trying it!

It's a great spot for transit in Fukuoka or for shopping. However, the restaurant on the B1 level wasn't very good at all. Since it was a weekend stay, paying over 1600 for a 14-square-meter room felt a bit pricey
