Compared to a UK station it’s amazing. Compared to other Japanese stations such as Shin-Osaka it’s just very good. Great food options and as a station has great connections and friendly staff

They let me use their glue which I needed for something. A small thing, but appreciated. Slight minus - despite giving a Japanese address, they still asked for my residence card

The rooms might be small but Toyama and his staffs have bigger hearts and better Professional Services than most 5 Stars Hotels! Even Okura Front Receptions CANNOT compare with Vessel Inn’s Front Receptions

Location: It's inside a shopping mall, quite small though. Hygiene: Similar to business hotels in Japan, pretty clean. However, the facilities are very old, and there's only one power outlet, which is super inconvenient.

The hotel was highly accessible to nearby shops and restaurants. It’s also a walkable distance to the hakata station. You may also easily find the parking slot next to the hotel.

Great location, but the hotel facilities are really old. It was scorching hot inside the room in March, and the AC wasn't working, so we had to open the window for air. Being right next to Canal City was incredibly noisy

This hotel is located in Nakasu, right in front of the famous yatai (food stalls), making it incredibly convenient for late-night snacks. Nearby, you'll also find the 24-hour Ichiran Ramen main store and Don Quijote.

The hotel is located in prime district with many convenience stores and eatery around. The famous Yatai street is within walking distance. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful throughout our stay

The room was very clean and had a nice view. The location is also excellent, with plenty of ramen shops, yakiniku restaurants, and supermarkets nearby, making it super convenient for food and drinks

Stayed for 4 nights, the unified air conditioning is not working. We have to open the window for ventilation and allow cool air in. However outside was noisy and it affect the sleeping quality

To be honest, when I first checked in, I thought the room was really small

meter twin room couldn't even fit a 28-inch suitcase laid flat, and at 1800 a night including breakfast, it really didn't feel worth it! However, I was genuinely surprised by the breakfast — the taste and texture truly captured the exquisite essence of Japanese cuisine! The rooftop onsen (hot spring) was also a big plus, making it somewhat worthwhile after all!

The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance of Gion Station on the Airport Line, Kushida Shrine Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line, Hakata Station, as well as Canal City Hakata, Kushida Shrine, and Nakasu Kawabata street

The cost of hotels in central Hakata is very high compared even to Tokyo because there is a lack of rooms in a growing city which is a hub for neighbour asian tourists

  The hotel only provides 2 free bottles of water when we checked in. There’s no daily supply of water throughout the stay. Although hot water is available at the hotel lobby, there’s no cold water dispenser

The hotel’s location was great, with easy access to Hakata station via an exit just outside the side entrance of the hotel. However the side entrance closes early

This causes inconvenience during one of the rainy days when we were back late cos we have to walked to the main entrance where there’s no sheltered pathway

That’s the explanation why such a bad hotel that is cheaper than others - but still expensive - and has an excellent situation can survive

Our booking confirmation very explicitly said "breakfast for 3 persons included" on every single day of the stay; only during the first breakfast we noticed that we had only been given breakfast coupons for two adults per day

Rooms and location are great; swimming pool not being available to children is a bit of a minus. Very negative experience with the staff at the reception: Booked a room for 2 adults + 1 child

Really nice staff and very good place to visit. The hotel is connected to the Nakasu-Kawabata which is really convenient to travel in the city to Tenjin or Hakata.

The public bath is great as they provide towels there so you do not need to bring towels from your room. If the public bath has some light music will b even better for a relaxing time

They have nice beds, private bath, closet, and perfect amenities. I love these towels and hair dryers. Gym area is a bit small for me but ok. They also have a large public bath

My husband and I booked Toyo Hotel because of the location AND it was the only one at the time that had 2 double beds as bedding option whereas nearby hotels had only offered single, and it was one of the BEST decisions we’ve made for this trip! Apart from the room and bedding option being great, the location is too! It’s surrounded by Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson, PLUS a 24 hours pharmacy/cosmetics...

You can only open two suitcases in the narrow hallway. Room Amenities: The bathroom has shampoo, body wash, disposable toothbrushes, etc. At the front desk, you can pick up small samples of toner, tea bags, and coffee

I chose this hotel because it's close to Riboudou Station, and it was indeed very convenient. With plenty of shopping and dining options both inside and outside the station area, my stay was excellent

Even though the windows don't open, the room generally doesn't feel stuffy. Also, some of the building materials are really poor quality, like the particle board, countertops, and steel frames

The downsides were that there were a lot of spills and wet areas around the buffet, and no one was cleaning them up. Also, the air conditioning was too cold

I had a great stay at Miyako Hotel Hakata. The location is extremely convenient—just a short walk from the subway station, which made getting around Fukuoka very easy. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient

The rooftop hot spring offers mountain views. The room size is comparable to a 300 sq ft room in Anqing. It's right next to the high-speed rail station, so getting a taxi can be a hassle.

The room was well-equipped with everything I needed, and daily housekeeping kept it spotlessly clean. I’ll definitely consider staying here again the next time I visit Fukuoka

There's also an airport shuttle bus (310 JPY, cashless payment only) directly across from the hotel. The cleanliness and staff service were absolutely fantastic!

The room was really small, but the location was super convenient. It's right opposite the bus terminal, and you can get to Hankyu department store in 5 minutes by crossing the skybridge

It's a great spot for transit in Fukuoka or for shopping. However, the restaurant on the B1 level wasn't very good at all. Since it was a weekend stay, paying over 1600 for a 14-square-meter room felt a bit pricey
