We chose a twin room, and the space was excellent for a Japanese hotel (the price was too). It was on par with other Comfort hotels, a consistently good standard.

P.S. You can control the air conditioning yourself, and it can even blow cold air in winter. That's a huge plus. It seems rare in hotels in China; they usually have central control, so even if the room is boiling hot in winter, you only get heating and ventilation.

This hotel is a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station, making it very convenient for taking the JR lines and subway. If you're coming from Fukuoka International Terminal, you can take a bus to Hakata Station East Gate for 310 JPY, then walk through the station concourse. A direct taxi would cost around 2000 JPY. From the domestic terminal, a subway ride to Hakata Station is 260 JPY. There are also many convenience stores nearby.

Like many Japanese hotels, the single rooms are quite small, but they are clean and tidy. I found it perfectly adequate.

The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

You can store your luggage on the day of check-in and check-out.

The hotel is conveniently located very close to JR Hakata Station, with Kintetsu Department Store and Yodobashi Camera nearby. It's also quite close to Nakasu. Across from the hotel, there's a supermarket and a popular dessert shop with a queue – if you have time, you should definitely try it; the cakes aren't too sweet and are really delicious. I feel like Smile Hotel isn't as good as it used to be. When we arrived, the only smoking area was on the third floor, and the hallway outside our room smelled strongly of smoke. Plus, the room itself was very small. It was just okay.

The location is excellent, less than a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station and very close to Canal City Hakata, making it convenient for shopping and entertainment. The room was clean, tidy, and spotless. The Pokémon store at the station was a big draw.

Not far from Hakata Station, so transportation is quite convenient, and there's a 7-Eleven right downstairs. The room had a window, which was a plus, but it was a bit small and had a strange smell. The TV was great though, you could watch internet channels.

An excellent hotel! It's conveniently located with plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk from the Hakata commercial district, and there are many convenience stores right next to the hotel. The service is great, and it's very clean. Definitely a hotel with superb value for money. I'll be back! 👍👍👍

The Chinese staff member at the front desk during check-in had an amazing attitude, which really warmed my heart. A big thank you to that employee. Otherwise, it's a standard Japanese hotel. The location is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station. Overall, it was a great stay!
