While the overall hygiene was good, the 'living' experience was a bit inconvenient. First, to leave the hotel, you have to go from your room on the third floor up to the lobby on the ninth floor, and then take another elevator down to the first floor. Also, the washing facilities are on the seventh floor, so you have to keep going back and forth.
I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. Shared facilities (showers, lockers, lounge) were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient for trains, restaurants, and shops. Great value and a fun, uniquely Japanese experience .
The location is excellent, and the capsule is very clean and well maintained. The amenities are great—pajamas, slippers, and towels are all provided. The bathroom facilities are also perfect: clean, modern, and very comfortable to use. I would definitely stay here again next time.
The quietness is depends on the guests. Personally, I don’t think it’s quiet as one of the guests was very loud when searching for her things. The bed I stayed wasn’t very clean. Luckily I bought my own disposable sheet. The shower rooms are all very nice and big enough.
The capsule is cleaned and the bedsheets changed everyday. The location is 5 minutes walk from hakata station. Very convenient. It's also near to some tourist attractions.
I arrived the hostel about 3am and still can check in. It’s good that you can check in until 6am. The hostel is clean and very comfortable to stay 10/10. Private locker rooms are pretty big.

I stayed at KOKO Hotel in the Tenjin area. The location is okay, but honestly, it’s a bit far if you’re walking from the station. If you mainly use the Airport Line (orange line), it’s about 600 meters away—around a 10-minute walk. That said, the area itself is quite convenient. There are plenty of drugstores nearby, Don Quijote is open 24 hours, and it’s close to Bic Camera as well. There’s also...
The location is good. Near to shopping, food and trains/subway. There is a shrine just opposite. Also the cafe Blue Bottle.
The hotel's location is excellent and very convenient. Don Quijote and drugstores are nearby. The bus stop right outside is also a big plus. There are many shopping options in the vicinity, and it's not too far from the airport. Highly recommended!
The room is spacious and close to everything ! Blue bottle(opposite the hotel) , donki(5mins walking distance), bus stop(infront of the hotel), tenjin station, 武藏(1mins walking distance) and manyyyy more !

Hotel location is very convenient, right next to heart of tenjin. But the cleanliness is not good, the toilet has some smell and there is only room clean up service per three day stay…

Location is good near family mart and Hakata station.
Good location, 3 subway stations are accessible. Hotel building is old, however the guest rooms are kept clean.
Great hotel for staying a few nights. The room mqy be a bit too small for travellers with big luggage. Location is quite good as its in the middle between 2 different network of metro station.
The room, though compact, was clean and well-equipped, and the toiletries provided were all genuine brand-name products.
Very kind, polite and smiling staff. Thank you very much.
The stay was excellent, and the service was attentive and warm. I would definitely return.

the room is really tiny . and the aircon works ! staff are helpful . the free flow coffee in the lobby is a nice service and the location is good very near the Sumiyoshi shrine
The price is cheap and the location is incredibly convenient. There are plenty of options for food, entertainment, shopping, and getting to the airport. However, the room is tiny, best suited for guests who only need a place to sleep and don't mind a small space. (If you have large luggage, you might not even be able to turn around!)
Good morning! A beautiful day has begun. Let's encourage ourselves, not worry about tomorrow, not sigh about yesterday, but just make today better. Good morning!
This hotel is perfect in every way. The breakfast is excellent, the service is outstanding, the cleanliness is impeccable, and the location couldn’t be better. It offers more than just a pleasant stay—it delivers a truly exceptional experience. I highly recommend it and would love to stay here again.
The location is near west exit JR Hakata Station, the front desk service was good, the amenities was self service, many shop near the hotel. I enjoyed my stay at here.
Price is reasonable for the room . Relatively close to station. Good base to travel around Kyushu.

I was a bit sleep-deprived from the snoring, but other than that, it was comfortable.
It turns out that each 9 Hours hotel has different rules. This one requires you to return the key card when you leave each day, and then tell the staff your room number when you return in the evening, and she will return the key card. This wasn't required when I stayed at the 9 Hours Shinjuku in Tokyo.
The shower room was clean, and towels and even a bath mat were provided, making it easy to use. I didn't see anyone talking, so it was a quiet and comfortable environment. I'll definitely use it again next time.
There doesn't seem to be enough space to spread out your luggage, so many people spread it out in front of their lockers. Even though there are empty sleeping spaces next to them, for some reason they have to sit next to each other to leave some space between them. I wish they'd explain to foreigners that they should wipe down the sink after using it.
Just sleeping was perfect. Everything was impeccable. The only downside was that I had to take all my belongings with me to the bathroom in the capsule, fearing theft. After sleeping there for four days, I got the hang of it and only brought the bare minimum, storing the rest in a locker.
Futuristic-looking hotel, nice for just having a place to sleep. The premises are clean and simple, and the bed is comfortable. Perfectly located, it was great for getting around Fukuoka (on foot or by public transport).

it’s really nice here 9/10 for me, it’s my first time staying in all gender it was decent! not cramped not noisy not too many people that goes in and out that could disturb you. i had a really pleasant stay and sleep well!!!! my pods was just near the door, respecting their very own privacy!! 😭😭✨ the downside was the second concierge staff was good at english but not to nice to me as i was checking...
The bed is big, and you can control it using the phone beside the bed. For all-gender rooms, the toilet and bathroom are also shared with all genders. However, I do not recommend capsule hotels for light sleepers. I can still hear people packing their luggage at 1 a.m. or walking around the room. The hotel breakfast is really good. It's not a buffet, but they gave me an appetizer with a main course...
This is the most comfortable capsule hotel I've ever stayed in! The bed was super big, just like a single bed in a regular hotel, soft, and had plenty of space above, below, and to the sides. You get your own private compartment, not those small bunk-bed-style pods. Whether sitting up or lying down, it didn't feel cramped at all. The bed was a smart sofa bed, which was really cool – you could control...
Great location in Nakasu. In the sleeping capsule, I recommend installing a small table beside the bed to put small stuff, otherwise there’s no space to put stuff except on the bed. Also the motion-sensing washroom faucet was very annoying that it keeps turning on and off when I’m using it. I wish it’s less sensitive that the water can keep running when I’m using it.
This place is suitable for a solo traveler, clean and quiet. Also the remote control bed is amazing
lounge area is great, helpful staff. good cleanliness, however, the bed is unfortunately a little uncomfortable since it doesn't unfold completely. there is also noise from other customers opening and closing suitcase, so if you could enforce quiet hours it would be great. overall a nice experience.

The room was good considering it was in the center of town, but the beds were not very clean!
Since we went out to play with just guys, the cleanliness was fine and the location of the accommodation was good so we could go out, play, and come back comfortably.
The location is not far from Tenjin Minami, but it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to Nakasu River or Canal City. There is a famous katsu restaurant right in front of the accommodation, and if you walk for about 5 minutes, there is Ichiran Ramen. There is also a Don Quijote on the way, so that was nice. The accommodation condition was a bit dusty in places higher than eye level, and there was...
Good. Maybe because my eyesight is bad, I didn't really care about cleanliness.. Check-in was complicated, but it was okay. However, I had to pay the accommodation fee on the day, so it might be a bit difficult if I didn't have a card. There were a lot of beds and the ceiling was high, so it didn't have the stuffiness that is typical of Japanese accommodations, so it was really good!!
Two double beds are enough for two adults and two children. I don't know about other rooms, but in our room, when you open the door, you have to go down two stairs to get to the room, and we left our shoes on the stairs. Shoes seem to be prohibited indoors. There were two electric ports, humidifiers, and international standard outlets on each bunk bed, as well as two USB-A ports. The curtain that...

Traveling with three people can be tricky with hotels, but this place had 4 beds! It was hard to find a room with enough beds for three, but this was excellent value for money. Since it's an older hotel, the bedding was a bit worn, but the facilities were clean and nice. It was spacious, and even had two bathrooms! I'd definitely go back again.
Great location to explore Hakata and friendly staffs who are always smiling to assist my mother and me. They gave me a great impression of people in Kyushu is nice!
I stored luggage at counter before check-in time. When I get back to hotel at night, staff had already placed my luggage in my room. That's very helpful. Location is convenient. Very easy to find the hotel.

We had a pleasant stay in a twin room- room is clean and quiet with a small balcony. Lobby has microwave and living room area for families. Staff can speak English and are very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever go back to Fuokuoka.
The staff is very accoomodating. The room is huge! I can just open my luggage all throughout my stay. I think you can open 3-4 large luggage inside the room. It's very clean and the communal lounge has a good ambience.
I was truly amazed by my stay at Montanbodo this time. The entire inn has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The common areas are incredibly spacious and quiet, perfect for working or just relaxing. The staff are professional and enthusiastic, striking just the right balance. What impressed me most was the room size; even with two large suitcases laid out flat, there was still plenty of room to walk around...
First time staying in a dorm as a solo traveler, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is great too — only about a 10-minute walk to Hakata Station. The place was clean and well maintained. Of course, since it’s a shared dorm, you can sometimes hear other people moving around or talking. But...
The Japanese-style room had four tatami mats, and we had to make our own beds. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is acceptable. The surrounding area isn't lively, and there isn't much around. The room itself was quite spacious, though, and we could fully open our suitcases.
First time staying in a hostel, and overall it was good, except for the top bunk being a bit inconvenient. You also have to be mindful of keeping quiet at all times and being extra careful when tidying your belongings. So, it's probably best for those with minimal luggage who just need a place to sleep.

It was an amazing stay, cleanliness and amenities were great! Would definitely stay again. However, it is located in an “alleyway” so it may be scary for females to walk back to the hotel at night. Other than that, recommended to book a stay here!

The hotel is just three bus stops away from Hakata Station, making it very convenient to get around. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so there’s no need to worry when you get hungry. The bath had a bad smell, it wasn’t bad enough to not stay there and I couldn’t see any obvious mold but I wouldn’t have stayed there more than 2 nights. Apart from that it was quite alright and looking at the price it was not too bad all in all.

Although it's a capsule hotel, it's always clean and comfortable to stay in. While the quality of guests can be a concern in a capsule hotel, most people are considerate, so it's generally fine. This was my first time staying at this hotel. The room was kept clean and I had a comfortable stay. It's a hotel I'd like to stay at again.

I was impressed right from check-in. You input your details on an iPad, then a staff member explains the house rules via video call using an interpreter device. In Japan's bustling cities, space is a premium, so while 10 tatami mats (about 16 sqm) isn't huge, the bed is comfortable and the room is clean. It's small but has everything you need, including disposable makeup remover, toner, and lotion...
It’s cheap and worth everything. We enjoyed ourselves as it’s a quiet area too. The only down part was the lack of amenities such as water dispenser, laundry services and others that a pantry should have. So, kindly prepare everything yourselves. I’ll still recommend it! ☺️
The facilities were clean and the bed was spacious, which I really liked. The bathroom was also spotless, and it even had a bidet! They provided a hairdryer, curling iron, toothbrush and toothpaste (two sets!), and plenty of towels. Having all these amenities really helped me pack lighter. However, because the bed was so big, the rest of the living space felt a bit cramped. It was a little tight...
The lighting was a bit dim, which felt a little stifling for us Koreans. The water pressure was weak and it was hard to control the water temperature. However, for Japan, it was quite spacious, which was really great! It was also clean. I think it would be good for a group of 4 friends. And I almost forgot to check out, so I had to go back to the 2nd floor to press the check-out button, haha.
Check-in was a bit tricky, but I was truly satisfied with the accommodation! The temperature was just right, so I slept well! This was a great place!
The facilities are okay, but the location is a bit hard to find, and the soundproofing is terrible. The building vibrates! My upstairs neighbors' noise at home feels like a blessing in comparison. I guess it's a good thing my own house is better now.

Of the three hotels I stayed at during my trip to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, and Kagoshima, this one was slightly worse. I didn't choose this hotel myself, and I probably wouldn't stay here again if I had the choice. The room being small isn't a surprise, that's typical for Japan. However, the duvet not having a cover, just a sheet separating it, was really off-putting.
The hotel is conveniently located in the Tenjin commercial district, with plenty of ramen shops, convenience stores, and Yoshinoya nearby, making dining very easy. The facilities are quite new, and it offers good value for money.
Excellent, truly excellent! Great location and proper service! This Hong Kong hotel is conveniently located near an MTR station and shopping malls, making transportation very accessible. The room was clean and comfortable, with full amenities. The staff were friendly and efficient, making for an overall good experience. Definitely recommended!
The hotel is located in the city center, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, making it very convenient for transportation. The room isn't huge, but it perfectly accommodates a family of four (two adults, two children). It also comes with a microwave and a refrigerator, which is really great for families.
Good n clean nice location to go tenjin or hakata by walking also very convenient to travel from airport
The hotel's location is excellent, and the front desk staff are professional and enthusiastic, especially when it comes to luggage storage. It's very reliable; I felt completely at ease leaving my newly purchased luxury bags there. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
