While the overall hygiene was good, the 'living' experience was a bit inconvenient. First, to leave the hotel, you have to go from your room on the third floor up to the lobby on the ninth floor, and then take another elevator down to the first floor. Also, the washing facilities are on the seventh floor, so you have to keep going back and forth.

I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. It turns out that each 9 Hours hotel has different rules. This one requires you to return the key card when you leave each day, and then tell the staff your room number when you return in the evening, and she will return the key card. This wasn't required when I stayed at the 9 Hours Shinjuku in Tokyo.

Even though there are empty sleeping spaces next to them, for some reason they have to sit next to each other to leave some space between them. I wish they'd explain to foreigners that they should wipe down the sink after using it.
