9h nine hours Hakata station, Fukuoka1 / 30

Fukuoka, 3-22-2 Hakata Ekimae, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
While the overall hygiene was good, the 'living' experience was a bit inconvenient. First, to leave the hotel, you have to go from your room on the third floor up to the lobby on the ninth floor, and then take another elevator down to the first floor. Also, the washing facilities are on the seventh floor, so you have to keep going back and forth.
I had a wonderful stay at this capsule hotel. The capsules were spotless, comfortable, and quiet. Staff were polite, helpful, and spoke enough English to make check-in easy. Shared facilities (showers, lockers, lounge) were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient for trains, restaurants, and shops. Great value and a fun, uniquely Japanese experience .
The location is excellent, and the capsule is very clean and well maintained. The amenities are great—pajamas, slippers, and towels are all provided. The bathroom facilities are also perfect: clean, modern, and very comfortable to use. I would definitely stay here again next time.
The quietness is depends on the guests. Personally, I don’t think it’s quiet as one of the guests was very loud when searching for her things. The bed I stayed wasn’t very clean. Luckily I bought my own disposable sheet. The shower rooms are all very nice and big enough.
The capsule is cleaned and the bedsheets changed everyday. The location is 5 minutes walk from hakata station. Very convenient. It's also near to some tourist attractions.
I arrived the hostel about 3am and still can check in. It’s good that you can check in until 6am. The hostel is clean and very comfortable to stay 10/10. Private locker rooms are pretty big.

Location is good near family mart and Hakata station.
Good location, 3 subway stations are accessible. Hotel building is old, however the guest rooms are kept clean.
Great hotel for staying a few nights. The room mqy be a bit too small for travellers with big luggage. Location is quite good as its in the middle between 2 different network of metro station.
The room, though compact, was clean and well-equipped, and the toiletries provided were all genuine brand-name products.
Very kind, polite and smiling staff. Thank you very much.
The stay was excellent, and the service was attentive and warm. I would definitely return.

Fukuoka, Ward, Shimokawabatamachi, 3−1 B1F, Hakata Ward (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
I was a bit sleep-deprived from the snoring, but other than that, it was comfortable.
It turns out that each 9 Hours hotel has different rules. This one requires you to return the key card when you leave each day, and then tell the staff your room number when you return in the evening, and she will return the key card. This wasn't required when I stayed at the 9 Hours Shinjuku in Tokyo.
The shower room was clean, and towels and even a bath mat were provided, making it easy to use. I didn't see anyone talking, so it was a quiet and comfortable environment. I'll definitely use it again next time.
There doesn't seem to be enough space to spread out your luggage, so many people spread it out in front of their lockers. Even though there are empty sleeping spaces next to them, for some reason they have to sit next to each other to leave some space between them. I wish they'd explain to foreigners that they should wipe down the sink after using it.
Just sleeping was perfect. Everything was impeccable. The only downside was that I had to take all my belongings with me to the bathroom in the capsule, fearing theft. After sleeping there for four days, I got the hang of it and only brought the bare minimum, storing the rest in a locker.
Futuristic-looking hotel, nice for just having a place to sleep. The premises are clean and simple, and the bed is comfortable. Perfectly located, it was great for getting around Fukuoka (on foot or by public transport).

Fukuoka, 5-2-18 Nakasu, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
it’s really nice here 9/10 for me, it’s my first time staying in all gender it was decent! not cramped not noisy not too many people that goes in and out that could disturb you. i had a really pleasant stay and sleep well!!!! my pods was just near the door, respecting their very own privacy!! 😭😭✨ the downside was the second concierge staff was good at english but not to nice to me as i was checking...
The bed is big, and you can control it using the phone beside the bed. For all-gender rooms, the toilet and bathroom are also shared with all genders. However, I do not recommend capsule hotels for light sleepers. I can still hear people packing their luggage at 1 a.m. or walking around the room. The hotel breakfast is really good. It's not a buffet, but they gave me an appetizer with a main course...
This is the most comfortable capsule hotel I've ever stayed in! The bed was super big, just like a single bed in a regular hotel, soft, and had plenty of space above, below, and to the sides. You get your own private compartment, not those small bunk-bed-style pods. Whether sitting up or lying down, it didn't feel cramped at all. The bed was a smart sofa bed, which was really cool – you could control...
Great location in Nakasu. In the sleeping capsule, I recommend installing a small table beside the bed to put small stuff, otherwise there’s no space to put stuff except on the bed. Also the motion-sensing washroom faucet was very annoying that it keeps turning on and off when I’m using it. I wish it’s less sensitive that the water can keep running when I’m using it.
This place is suitable for a solo traveler, clean and quiet. Also the remote control bed is amazing
lounge area is great, helpful staff. good cleanliness, however, the bed is unfortunately a little uncomfortable since it doesn't unfold completely. there is also noise from other customers opening and closing suitcase, so if you could enforce quiet hours it would be great. overall a nice experience.

Fukuoka, 10-21 Narayamachi, rayon Hakata, 812-0023 Fukuoka, Prefektura Fukuoka, Yaponiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I had a good stay at The OneFive Marine Fukuoka. The hotel is well located, with easy access to transportation and nearby areas. The room is small, but very clean and well organized, so it remains functional and comfortable for a short stay. The mattress is a bit firm, which may not suit everyone, but overall the room is quiet and practical. A solid option if you’re looking for a clean, efficient...
I stayed at the OneFive Marine Hotel for 6 nights, the Hotel was well equiped, clean and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend!
It's quite close to the international convention center, about an 8-minute walk. It's also around a 10-minute walk to Nakasu Subway Station. The area is relatively quiet. Check-in is on the 10th floor, where you can also pick up toiletries. For check-out, you can just drop your key card in the box inside the elevator.
The hotel offered a peaceful retreat with clean, modern rooms and attentive service. The breakfast buffet was varied and fresh, and the location was ideal for exploring nearby attractions. Minor noise from the hallway was noticeable at night, but overall, the stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Would recommend for short visits.
The guy at the front desk, who seemed to be Indian or Nepalese, let us check in over an hour early, which was great. Laundry and dryers are on the 10th floor, and it seems like the front desk, toiletries, pajamas, and coffee are all up there too. It's a bit inconvenient that there's no free luggage storage; they have lockers on the 1st floor that cost 500 JPY. For checkout, you just drop your room...
Facilities: A relatively new hotel, small but has everything you need. Hygiene: Very well maintained and clean. Environment: The surroundings are a bit out of the way, but you can reach the main road with just a short walk. Service: The hotel reception is on the top floor, and the service is very warm and welcoming. They even offer free bath salts, which is a great touch. Highly recommended!

Location is perfect if you're going to take bus, train or subway mainly. Single room is very small. Hotel currently under construction and so quite noisy
Very close to the station, very convenient. The Room is also standard, clean, but quite dark
This location very close to Hakata station. There are close to Mini Mart just walked by a couple block. This hotel is quiet, peaceful I sleep very well and economy COST .
Very good location (Very near Hakata station), Nice & Clean hotel Near 7-11 but the room is quite small. Good service.

Similar to the previous two nights I stayed.
The hotel's location is pretty good; it's only two bus stops away from Tenjin Center. The room has a microwave, which is convenient for heating milk and such. The front desk area is a bit cramped, but that's typical for hotels of this type. The front desk staff are all foreign, so communicating in Japanese was a bit difficult. Overall, it offers good value for money.

The hotel is just three bus stops away from Hakata Station, making it very convenient to get around. There’s a 7-Eleven right downstairs, so there’s no need to worry when you get hungry. Best of all, you can even walk to Ichiran Ramen from the hotel. The room isn’t very large, but it doesn’t feel cramped at all. If I visit Fukuoka again, I would definitely stay here.
A bit far from the main street and public transportation
The bath had a bad smell, it wasn’t bad enough to not stay there and I couldn’t see any obvious mold but I wouldn’t have stayed there more than 2 nights. Apart from that it was quite alright and looking at the price it was not too bad all in all.

The Business class capsule is so spacious that it is even possible to stand inside (in case if you want to change inside) Location is perfect. The bathroom has all the amenities you can imagine I was lucky with my capsule neighbours- everyone was se respectful and queit, so I slept like a baby
There was hair on the sheets, which was quite disgusting. Other than that, my stay was fine. The bed was firm and felt very basic.
I have stayed here as 2nd times Good for me and sleep well. Will stay again if visit fuk by myself.
I had to meet a friend at Fukuoka Airport the next day, and I was worried about getting to the airport in the morning, so I stayed here by myself before meeting up with my friend. It was a comfortable stay with no issues. I really liked that I could stand up inside the capsule; it made changing clothes super easy. The shower booths and other facilities were also clean. Depending on the location, it...
The location is great, and for just sleeping there, it's more than sufficient! There are plenty of sinks and toilets, so I never had to wait. However, on the second day, there were some inconsiderate guests making noise late at night and early in the morning. I wish people would be more mindful of others, but I guess that's just a matter of luck and can't be helped. Luckily, the first day was quiet...
Although it's a capsule hotel, it's always clean and comfortable to stay in. While the quality of guests can be a concern in a capsule hotel, most people are considerate, so it's generally fine. However, there are always some self-centered guests who ignore the rules, walking loudly or being oblivious to their surroundings. You just have to accept that it's a matter of luck sometimes.

The service was good and friendly. The rooms’ cleanliness is also good. The price is also affordable.
We had the futon room which was very comfortable and we got supplied with pyjamas which we loved! (Sad to leave them behind) a relatively small room but worked for us for four nights. Bathroom as well was great with a nice deep tub. Located ideally in ohori park which is easy to get to from the train and is right in the main line for travelling.
It was really good experience staying in the room with tatami no heya which is very clean and new tatami. My son loves it there and staffs are super nice. Breakfast also amazing, glad they have coffee.
Absolutely fantastic! It's super close to the subway station, the environment is clean and hygienic, and the price is really affordable! The front desk staff are all very friendly, and the free breakfast was much better than expected.
I've been staying at this hotel for over a decade, which is hard to believe! When I first came to Japan over ten years ago, this was the cheapest option, costing around 200 yen. It's still pretty much the same price now. I particularly like their Japanese-style rooms because you can roll around on the futon without falling off. 😂😂😂 The building is quite old, and the decor is a bit dated, but it's...

Check in is smooth. Upon entering the room, felt very dusty. Found many many spots of thick dust not clean. Air condition is very dirty with black spots on it. Will not recommend this hotel as it is very dirty and dusty.
Great bargain for a hotel for people who just need to catch some sleep in between busy days. You have to do practically everything yourself, but for the price it’s a deal. One great surprise was there was a washing machine. Of course you have to know a bit of Japanese to use it (Google translate), but I was able to even do a quick wash of yesterday’s sweaty clothes. Very convenient to Hakata station with shuttle service from the hotel. Staff were friendly.
There were no particular inconveniences, but the walls were thin and we could hear the neighbors quite well. Other than that, it was just a regular business hotel.
The semi-double bed was a little small, but the room was nice and clean!
Great price. I stayed in a double room for around 5000yen. Very clean. Free shuttles every 15 mins to Hakata station. However the sohnd proof is not too good in the rooms. Yoh can hear people going in and out. Also people using hair dryer. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Location is good. Pretty close to Canal city and Hakata station.
Very basic business hotel. Rooms are very small and only have basic services. Location and cleanliness of the rooms was both good so leaving 3 stars. I stayed at the Daiwa hotel a few days before for a tiny bit more and it was a much nicer experience.
Good and friendly staff, good housekeeping. You get what you pay for the room, it is clean. People who give 3 stars or lower, go somewhere else. English communication is a little difficult.

Despite its age, it offers a far better value for money than most business hotels or four-star hotels. Specific amenities include complimentary bath salts in the lobby, the ability to refill...
It's my own ignorance; I didn't even know 'love hotels' were a thing. I booked this hotel for three nights purely because it offered free parking, as my child was competing in Fukuoka. My initial impression was completely overturned on the first day. There's no elevator from the first to the second floor, so we had to lug our luggage up to the second-floor front desk. Of the two stairwells, one, which...
I booked this place without realizing it was a 'love hotel,' simply because the room looked quite spacious. Upon arrival, I was pleased to find the room was indeed very large – a rare find in Japan. The room is small but tidy, and it's good for a short stay. Nice and quiet! The bathrooms and toilets are communal, but small towels are provided. A bit of a walk from Hakata Station, but there's a convenience store nearby.
The room was clean inside and out, and the tatami mats could sleep up to four people. The Japanese breakfast was quite generous. However, the bathroom was shared, and only on the first floor. There was no air conditioning in the bathroom. The room was mostly lacking in amenities like chairs and teacups. The location is excellent, just over a hundred meters from Jiyuan Station. The owner's attitude is a bit cold🤣 but the hotel has Shiba Inu! Super cute💕 The location is very convenient! The area is also very lively, with subways, convenience stores, bus stations, etc. I would still like to stay here next time💕
Actually, it was a ryokan so it had a nice atmosphere, a bath, and clean facilities, but I think there were fleas on the blanket, so I got a lot of scars on my stomach I got bitten by fleas.......
This old house is fine for a one-night stay. Services are limited, including no hot water boiler and no Wi-Fi. The value for money is reasonable, but don't expect too much. Bathrooms are shared.
The room is a traditional Japanese tatami. The hotel owner is a very friendly old couple. There is also a staff member who speaks English so communication is no problem at all. The facilities are a bit old, but overall they are clean and tidy, and it is very comfortable to stay there☺️

Good location, nearby bus station, subway station, convenience store and canal city Hakata. The owner and his wife also very kind and helpful. The only downside is there is only one toilet per gender
Good location. Good room and good value for money overall. However, the owner takes only cash, and there are daily city taxes to add to the price. Also, there is no laundry available in the guesthouse and only one toilet per gender in the whole guesthouse. The owner could be more kind and welcoming as well... Excellent staff who are fluent in English. Comfty beds. Clean hostel. Very satisfied
Very comfortable place. It's also very cheap. Besides the shared bathroom, there is also a bathroom inside each dormitory. You can use the shared kitchen and laundry area for free.
Though it is somewhat difficult to find as its appearance looks like an ordinary block of flats, but there are nice dormitories besides a kitchen and a room for chatting together with some backpackers. There are no amenities like towels or shampoo in each bathroom. You can check out anytime by leaving your own key.

Best at this price. Hostel condition and management procedures are up to expectation. Shared dormitory is not easy for big luggage users if allocated upper deck. Location is perfect for shopping, dining or moving around to say trip or next destination, almost all reachable like a few hundred metres. Enjoyed the corner gyoza sho, juicy gyoza with draft beer very much, small and cosy yet not pricy
Great location, right in the Kawabata-dori shopping arcade, but the facilities are a bit old. The bed creaks loudly when you lie down.

The bedding was clean. I found the check-in process a bit exhausting due to the excessive and detailed explanations. The only other issue was the discomfort caused by the number of smokers often gathered near the hostel entrance, right next to a tobacco shop. Aside from that, the facilities were very clean, and it was a satisfying stay.

This is a budget hostel, so the space is cramped. There's a women-only dorm with six beds, and several mixed dorm beds as well. The accommodation has two shared bathrooms and two shower rooms, one women-only.
Mixed Dormitory 8 people per room, bunk beds All beds have curtains Clean and quiet The owner is incredibly friendly The location is slightly off the beaten path But if you consider it a walkable option while enjoying the surrounding scenery, it's worth it.
