Very tidy, clean place. Unfortunately volunteer work in the cat shelter is currently not possible, but you can watch the cats through a glass wall.
Note - read their instructions (via the booking portal of your choice) at least the day before check on or you might be stuck in front of locked doors as I was

Overall my night’s stay was pretty good but I am confused as to the cat shelter part. In the booking message they said your stay will help the cat. I arrived late and ask if I can see the cats and was told the shelter opens before 10am which is the checkout time. Instead of leaving early I kinda stalled my time because I wanted to have some interaction with the cats but that morning I was told it’s not possible. All you can do is look at the cats. There were 2 that I saw and it was from the window. Lol

You can reserve a time slot to help out working with the cats. When I helped out, I was cleaning litter trays. While you do this, the cats will climb on you and try to play with you. They're super adorable, but do get in the way of working slightly :D
The hostel was a good price, had a comfortable bed and good internet. There was also free tea and some free cosmetics.
The only downside is that the hostel is a bit of a walk to the centre, but there is a subway station close by.

The background behind making this hostel was to safe the cats, they make money and the money goes for the cats (foods, cares,etc) . Nice hostels, warm employee (could speak English), they have washing machine, separate bathroom and mixed one, sometimes there's also free food.

Best hostel I've stayed in! The owner is very nice and welcoming, cats are well cared for and loved. Facilities are clean extra amenities are supplied. Would recommend.
