Fukuoka, 6-chome-18-12 Hakozaki (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
the one thing just a little bit far from the city, even you can walk to the train
Lovely hotel with friendly Staff and great amenities
Location Located at the subway station Hakozaki Kudaimae Station, exit 3 or 4, one of the exits have an elevator, along the road are stone road, towing is more difficult, about 15 minutes away, via Leshi Street and 7-Eleven, eat and play, very convenient. If you don't take the MTR, you can actually take the bus, but not so frequently. Please pay attention to the West Rail bus timetable. Hotel facilities...
I realized at the last minute that I had made a mistake and booked the wrong room, so I contacted the hotel and they accommodated by upgrading my room. I'm grateful that I no longer have to find a new place to stay. The room was spacious, had a separate bathroom and toilet, and was clean, so I was able to spend a comfortable night. It was also great value that breakfast was included for this price...

Comfort Inn Fukuoka Tenjin, Fukuoka1 / 30

Fukuoka, 1-2-1, Tenjin, Chuo-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The room was quite spacious for Japan, and the bathroom was more luxurious than other chain hotels, even featuring a massage shower. The subway entrance is right outside, and it's just a 10-minute walk to Tenjin Daimaru and PARCO. I'd definitely stay here again.
The location is great and the room size is reasonable in view of its price. In general, good value for money.
This hotel offers great value for money. The previous hotel I stayed at for two nights was incredibly small, with absolutely no room to move around, making me feel really uncomfortable. I was desperate to switch hotels, and thankfully, a friend's recommendation led me here!
We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a very good location. During our stay, there was a Christmas market, and we could walk to several of them. The hotel is close to the main shopping area in the city center and is very convenient for getting around. The room was a reasonable size, and the bed was comfortable.
A comfortable stay close to the main railway station. Breakfast was a bit basic but sufficient for the price. Would stay again.
Central location walking distance to Tenjin underground mall Room is small without space to open up two large suitcases Receptionist is polite and helpful Rooms facing main road can hear siren sound at night

Early check-in was a great plus, and they were kind enough to move all my luggage to the room beforehand, which was very convenient. The room was clean, and I had no issues during my one-night stay.
The hotel was very clean, a less than 10-minute walk to the subway station, and close to nearby temples. It's also about a 25-minute walk to Hakata. This area is quite peaceful and the environment is comfortable. Recommended.
We noticed an unpleasant odor in the toilet, a leak from the kettle, and an unusual painting in the room.
Enjoyed our stay here. Also rented some interesting beauty gadgets at the reception for free.
Everything was great, but the room was really small, even by Japanese standards. There was absolutely nowhere to hang towels; at least some hooks would have been helpful. The breakfasts were a bit repetitive but tasty and filling.
Just finished my stay at the And Hotel Hakata and I have to recommend it! 🥳 🇯🇵 The location is absolutely perfect, so convenient for getting around Hakata Station! 🚶‍♀️ You can step right out and feel the vibrant energy of downtown Hakata, and you won't have to worry about getting lost. Plus, the hotel's facilities and room decor are so comfortable; I slept incredibly well and woke up feeling refreshed...

Fukuoka, Hakataeki Higashi 3-6-11, Hakata-ku (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We had a pleasant stay in a twin room- room is clean and quiet with a small balcony. Lobby has microwave and living room area for families. Staff can speak English and are very friendly. Will definitely stay here again if ever go back to Fuokuoka.
The staff is very accoomodating. The room is huge! I can just open my luggage all throughout my stay. I think you can open 3-4 large luggage inside the room. It's very clean and the communal lounge has a good ambience.
I was truly amazed by my stay at Montanbodo this time. The entire inn has a cozy, home-like atmosphere. The common areas are incredibly spacious and quiet, perfect for working or just relaxing. The staff are professional and enthusiastic, striking just the right balance. What impressed me most was the room size; even with two large suitcases laid out flat, there was still plenty of room to walk around...
First time staying in a dorm as a solo traveler, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is great too — only about a 10-minute walk to Hakata Station. The place was clean and well maintained. Of course, since it’s a shared dorm, you can sometimes hear other people moving around or talking. But...
The Japanese-style room had four tatami mats, and we had to make our own beds. The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Hakata Station, which is acceptable. The surrounding area isn't lively, and there isn't much around. The room itself was quite spacious, though, and we could fully open our suitcases.
First time staying in a hostel, and overall it was good, except for the top bunk being a bit inconvenient. You also have to be mindful of keeping quiet at all times and being extra careful when tidying your belongings. So, it's probably best for those with minimal luggage who just need a place to sleep.

big rooms no receptionist. carpeted floors are dirty and occasionally wet. old equipment. very big room and free drinks though.
I travel alone but reserve a family room, there are 2 6 ft bed. Bathroom is big. There is kitchen in room. It too good for 1 person.price about 6,000 yen reasonable for big room. If you travel with friend, I recommend this place.
Very spacious for a Japanese hotel. Loved the kitchenette, I saved lots of money by making my own breakfast and the massage chair was great. I would definitely stay here again.
A very nice hotel with affordable price
Initial impression of the staff behind the desk was that he didn't appear very attentative, but that might have been due to a lack of English. Room itself is okay, spacious enough but is more like a small apartment than a hotel room. There is a kitchen (which we never used) and a massage chair. The Internet was very slow and it was a drag to stream videos. If you're only using the room to sleep in...

The environment is good but the location is a bit inconvenient
The hotel's location is quite out of the way, with nothing much around. We had to walk at least twenty minutes just to find a place to eat, which was quite a hassle. It feels like the hotel was converted from an apartment, as the room was spacious and equipped with amenities like an induction cooker and microwave.
It's just 1 night. My booked for attend a concert that day. The enjoy thing was, they also played some song from those concert. 😄😄 thank you..
Great value for money, though it's a bit far from the subway station. However, taking a bus is actually quite convenient. Also, the South Asian convenience store clerk at the nearby Lawson has a really poor attitude; I've seen a lot of bad reviews for them on Google Maps. The room was quite spacious, not like the typical Toyoko Inn size, and the amenities were good, with a separate wet and dry area...
Hotel is very close to the port so was super easy to catch the ferry. Room was spacious and clean, we had a small kitchen inside the room.
Hotel facilities mentioned in the hotel website include kitchen. It is quite misleading. The cooking utility charge 800 Yen. Washing machine was not available.

This is my second visit. First off, the room is spacious, which is great. The staff are all friendly, and it's within walking distance to Hakata Station. I plan to visit again.
The hotel room was smaller than expected, with three large beds and an open-plan kitchen, much like a typical Japanese guesthouse. The best part was being able to do laundry and hang clothes to dry in the covered walkway every day. However, bath towels were only provided on the first day, meaning we had to wash them daily. There were also only 8 hangers, so it would have been even better if fresh bath...
Satisfied! Perfect for a shopping-focused trip.
The hotel room is spacious and very clean, its even cleaner than some of the famous hotels I have lived. It's about 10 mins walk to the Hakata station. They have staff from different countries so communicating in English and Chinese are both easy. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time.
Small condo but equipped with all the essential facilities. Great location and great customer services
The ambiance was great, and all the necessary amenities were provided. However, there was no room service. Additionally, housekeeping is not offered even for multi-day stays, and guests are expected to dispose of their own trash.

Used this for a business trip and it was excellent.
It was much better than I expected. It was clean and spacious, perfect for families. The location is absolutely the best.
No one to greet you! No luggage storage! So, zero service. But the location is excellent, with a good number of high-quality restaurants nearby.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station, with malls and snack streets all around, making it super convenient for getting around and finding food. The breakfast spread is incredibly rich, offering both Chinese and Western options, fresh fruits, freshly brewed coffee, and warm pastries – it was thoroughly satisfying. Very good customer service! I e mailed the hotel if I can leave my luggage for a week before checking in since I will be going to Nagasaki. The staff at the front desk are friendly especially Mik. The facilities are quite complete. The room is clean. It's a bit difficult if you arrive at the hotel before the counter opens. You have to check the time well.
Check in is smooth. Upon entering the room, felt very dusty. Found many many spots of thick dust not clean. Air condition is very dirty with black spots on it. Will not recommend this hotel as it is very dirty and dusty.
Great bargain for a hotel for people who just need to catch some sleep in between busy days. You have to do practically everything yourself, but for the price it’s a deal. One great surprise was there was a washing machine. Of course you have to know a bit of Japanese to use it (Google translate), but I was able to even do a quick wash of yesterday’s sweaty clothes. Overall excellent but not perfect + Excellent location, the beds are of good quality, sheets and amenities are of good quality. There is a microwave, full cutlery set and cooking utilities in room. The layout of the beds and space to walk.
The room was really small!! For me as an alone traveler that was okay, but I think for two people the room will be too small. Check in information and websites were little confusing. Staff were nice and helpful but the room was a bit dirty. At least the price was not bad so overall experience was okay
Acceptable and good value The room was very small, but the bed was comfortable and large. The room looks run-down, probably because of cost cutting measures when choosing materials. Check in using pre-checkin and QR code on tablet was easy, though the paper sign at the desk was a little confusing. Doors are noisy, but didn’t hear them til morning. It was clean and nice. The view was no joke.
The room was great, nice atmosphere, and the location in downtown Fukuoka is super convenient.
The location is pretty good. It's a 6-7 minute walk to Canal City Hakata and an 8-minute walk to Daimaru Department Store. It's located between the Nanai Line subway stations, Tenjin Minami, and Rice Terrace Shrine, and is closer to Tenjin Minami. A taxi back to the hotel cost over 2300 yen. It would be better if the schedule were more regular.
I think this would be the best place to stay if only there was ventilation. On the second floor, none of the rooms have windows, and it's a corridor-style building where even the corridor isn't ventilated, so the room itself doesn't get any fresh air. There's also a bar in front of the hotel, so cigarette smoke drifts in. The soundproofing isn't great either. You can get some ventilation if you turn...
Close to Tenjin, and best of all, Don Quijote was nearby which was great. The soundproofing is a bit of a shame though.
The location and facilities were excellent and clean. However, all the rooms were on the first floor and had no windows, making it feel like a basement.
The mattress was very comfortable, the location was excellent, and the shower was also good.
I went there without much expectation because the reviews weren't that good, but it was better than I thought. The only inconvenience was that it wasn't soundproof and there was a bar in the same building, so it smelled like cigarettes. The facilities were fine, and the location was especially great. And the water pressure was great. It would be a good idea to make a reservation when going with a friend

Everything is good, but the only downside is that the train noise is too loud.
The room, converted from an apartment, was very nice and spacious. The only downside was its proximity to the railway tracks; trains pass by at night, so it might not be suitable for those who value a quiet environment. There is no daily housekeeping service; please contact the front desk if needed. The hotel is close to a subway station, and there are convenience stores and McDonald's nearby, making...
Although the building is old and not very clean, I was satisfied because it was close to the subway station, the accommodation was cheap, and I could use the electric range and cooking utensils.
Choose this hotel carefully. If something unexpected happens and you need to check out, it will be difficult even with the help of customer service. Secondly, the quilt surface has pilled, and it is not very comfortable to sleep on. The toilet has no flushing function. The facilities are relatively old, and the space is quite large.
The staff was nice and friendly too!
I went alone and thought capsule hotels would be uncomfortable, but I didn't really care about the noise from the train, so it was fine even though I'm a light sleeper!! It was nice that there was a gas range so I could grill meat by myself!

Really convenient location JR Hakata is 12mins on foot. Then there’s a convenience store 2 mins away and 24hr grocery 3mins away. There is also a mall nearby. Staff was nice almost everything is provided. Although, I found the room a bit dusty under the bed. But every thing else was great!
They are a really co-working place with cafe, bar and restaurant. And as far as I know companies are having business meetings in their place too. Also you can stay with them as they offer accommodation. They are a pretty new start up / business model - really nice vibes!
