That being said, I can definitely see this place turning into a lively, vibrant destination once it becomes more popular. The amenities and facilities have so much potential to attract more guests. The staff have been absolutely great and have looked after us really well!
Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this place has the perfect combination of both, and I’ll be excited to see it grow in the future.
The hotel is located in the mountains, behind the suburban areas, more like a ghetto. The road to it is narrow, rough and with a large slope. Not every car can drive into snow and mud. Locals said that not every taxi driver would go there.
There is nothing nearby, within walking distance. You either sit in your room, take a taxi, or rent a car.
There is nothing on the territory and the territory itself is very untidy. Garbage, dirt, broken equipment, building materials. The appearance of the houses also leaves much to be desired, everything is done sloppily, polyurethane foam sticks out of all the cracks, the foam is not covered with anything as floor insulation, apparently in the houses. You can carefully clean and cover everything.
In the house that we rented (for 4 people, with two bedrooms and bathrooms), the decoration was done disgustingly, in violation of all technologies. Water poured out of the shower into the room, flowed under the tiles in the bathroom and under the floor in the bedroom. Naturally, all this then comes off and squishes, mold accumulates under the coating and God knows what else.
Moreover, it is clear that the renovation was done recently, but so poorly that the paint is already peeling off, the baseboards are falling off. Everything is sloppy, blunder. There are no shelves in the bathroom where you can put at least a glass of toothbrushes, not to mention cosmetics. Everything ended up on the floor. There are no cabinets, shelves or anything for storing things. One flimsy wooden hanger in the bedroom, with a couple of hangers. There is nowhere to put outerwear; at the entrance there is a strange small closet above the minibar, where only short clothes can fit. In the end, everything hangs on the chairs.
As far as I understand, on weekdays there is no one particularly here, the main crowd is couples and families on weekends. We lived for a week, and on weekdays we were alone on the premises. There is a minimum staff, perhaps they are released on weekdays. The administrator took the rap for everyone (he tried very hard).
Breakfast is normal: porridge or scrambled eggs, omelet, yogurt, coffee, juice.
During the week that we were there, the electricity went out and there were problems with water one day. There are a huge number of ants in the house.
The location itself is simply stunning. Picture this: snow-covered hills stretching as far as the eye can see, waking up to these views every morning was an absolute treat. The remoteness adds to the charm; you truly feel like you've escaped to your own little world.
While the location is secluded, the cabin itself was surprisingly modern and well-appointed. Everything was clean, and the room had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay including slippers and robes. It was the perfect place to warm up after a day exploring the snowy surroundings.
What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything I needed. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch. This cabin stay exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect blend of natural beauty, modern comfort, and warm hospitality. If you're looking for a peaceful escape in a winter wonderland, I highly recommend this hidden gem in the Kazakh hills. I left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, with memories that will last a lifetime. I can't wait to return one day!
Since it’s still new, the resort is very quiet, but that only added to the charm. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their kindness made our stay even more special. While it’s still developing, you can already see its incredible potential, and I have no doubt it will become a top destination in the future.
If you’re looking for a unique retreat with amazing scenery and warm hospitality, this is the place to be! Can’t wait to see how it evolves!
