The suite I booked was spacious, quiet, and comfortable. Although located in a residential area, the hotel is close to "central" Riga; you can easily walk to cafes, bars, restaurants, and many cultural attractions. All in all, I enjoyed my stay at A22 and would love to stay there again the next time I visit Riga.

This lovely hotel located in the old town, walking distance to most of the tourist sights. They had laundry facility at level 4 with a payment of EUR 4.50. There had lot of cafes and restaurants around them. Room size is big and clean. Stable free wifi connections.

This hotel was incredibly convenient, located just behind the Blackhead House in the Old Town, and very close to the airport bus stop. The room was clean, and all the front desk staff were so kind, making our stay very pleasant. I'd love to stay here again if I have the chance!

The location is really good for us. We took a bus heading to Lithuania in the early morning. We walked to reach their. It was really easy. We did not enjoy using towels as we smelled vinegar in it.

Hotel staff was very welcoming at check in and provided a map of Old Riga and made suggestions for things to see and do. The room itself is clean and includes all necessary amenities. The hotel is quite good. Convenient location between two parks and next to the Old Town, just a 5-minute walk away. Friendly reception staff and efficient check-in. Ridzene is a bit "older" by their staff description... But it is well kept, has a super nice staff, and great breakfast (similar in choice and quality to what I recall of Rad Blu Latvia). Good hotel, great location, good breakfast. The problem, like most hotels in Riga's Old Town - no parking! So if you're traveling by car, I suggest you do your homework in advance about where to leave your car. And it won't be cheap.

The location is great - close to tram/train/bus and walking distance to old town. Quite charming as well but not by any means particularly comfortable. The beds are very hard and the AC was not adjustable (except the fan speed but I'm still unsure if it was actually cooling or heating...). We were happy we were upgraded to a superior room. And it was really spacious for me and my friend who needed wheelchair accessibility. The toilet was huge. The hotel has a good location, and paid on-site parking is available. Breakfasts were delicious. HOWEVER, the rooms are quite dated. We found mold in the bathroom, which is a significant issue for allergy sufferers. If you have allergies, we definitely do not recommend staying here.

The rooms were huge. The person who chooses the sleeper couch is spared the snoring in the bedroom given the door that closes on it. Breakfast was promptly ready at 7am. Egg soufle was light and fluffy. Large selection. Front end help was superlative.

We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc). Walls were thin - we could hear people moving in the corridors...

A bit far from the central parts of town but there is a local bus that stops near the hotel. A good supermarket also nearby. Nothing special, ok hotel to stay at if the hotel is not the most important part of your trip.

Located in a old house. Everything was old floors, carpets and beds. The walls were paperthin and you could hear every door slam on the same floor. Breakfast was small but ok. Great staff and service though. But all in all average at best.

I've been staying at the Bergs nearly 2 weeks and the staff are great, as are the rooms. I'm in one with a loft with the bed and main washroom upstairs and a nice powder room downstairs. Overall a pretty good hotel. Rooms a bit old fashioned. A bit far away if you want to explore the old town etc. We used the Bolt app to get around as otherwise there would have been too much walking. Breakfast was ok as it was included in the room price. Bathroom was clean and we had room with bath. I normally have pictures, but I forgot them on this trip.

Stayed here for the Rimi Riga Marathon 2026. The staff were amazingly helpful with information about getting around the city, places to see, and places to eat. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms was basic and quite small, cold (as the heating was off "for the summer season") and the shower had low pressure. About a 10 minute walk into the main part of town, via the parks which are lovely.

The breakfast is good, especially the cottage cheese pancakes. The room was reasonable, but I believe furniture needs to be renovated. There aren’t enough toiletries in the bathroom.
