On the day we
arrived at 10 o'clock and called the landlord, saying that the room was not ready and we needed to wait until about 12 o'clock. When the time came, he would take the key and lead us upstairs, and we had to pay a deposit, which was 200 Malaysian ringgits, but I gave him 300 RMB before I exchanged it, and he could accept it!
1. Room: I booked 2 high-end apartments, on the 19th and 41st floors respectively. The layout and maintenance of the two apartments were very different. Although they were very old and not clean, the quilts and bed sheets and pillowcases had not been changed. As soon as I entered the door, there was a strong Indian smell. The room on the 19th floor was not only damp and dark, but the things inside seemed to be recycled from the second-hand market. It was really indescribable. Moreover, you need to swipe the room card to enter the elevator for two floors, but there is only one room card. I have children and the elderly. It is extremely inconvenient to take care of them. The next day, I strongly asked the landlord to change the room or check out. After many unsuccessful communications, I turned to Ctrip for help. After staying for 2 nights, I was moved to a 2-bedroom apartment. Although the environment is better, the equipment and bedding are extremely old and dirty.
2. Geographical location: It is convenient to go anywhere, but there are slums around, which are all foreign workers and very unsafe. If you use Baidu navigation, you will directly walk out of the slums. Don’t ask me why I know! I also encountered something I don’t want to encounter again in my life!
3. Chenggong Times Square should have been very glorious more than ten years ago. Now it is occupied by foreign workers and the Philippines, India, Indonesia, etc. The place to go shopping is like a Chinese wholesale market. It is a waste of this precious land!
It is worth praising Ctrip’s customer service. It is recommended that everyone book this kind of homestay or apartment directly on Ctrip for guarantee! The landlord is not bad, but the room is beyond my reach. I suggest that if you really want to stay in Times Square, stay in the hotel in the west building, which is also called Times Square Hotel. Don't stay in the apartment in the east building! The best advice is to choose another hotel!

Almost all furniture scratched, old, and/or broken. Broken mirror in the bedroom. Stains on the bed sheets (but these were changed when we pointed out the stains), stains on the sofas, stains on the duvet, stains on the carpet. The air conditioning leaks lots of condensation water on to the carpet every few hours of use. The facilities were not as described: There is no hairdryer, no additional toilet, no dishwasher, no hair conditioner, no oven, the towel rail was broken and laying in the bath, toilet towel rail also broken, no bathmat, hand towel was all frayed, and just half a roll of toilet roll, no slippers (just a dirty used pair of flip-flops). Impossible to open the wardrobe doors fully. Dangerous wiring on the lounge lamp and some electrical sockets badly mounted. We were only told on arrival that we couldn't use a payment card, that it was cash only On leaving, we arranged to meet 'Jahangir' at 6am (for a booked taxi to the airport) for him to return our deposit, but he failed to turn up despite us sending several messages. We are still trying to get our deposit sent back to us...
