1000 Miles in Kuala Lumpur

Good hotel if you’re looking for a convenient stay in KL! The hotel is in such a great location, especially if exploring KL by foot.
The room itself was pretty small - have stayed in far bigger rooms for less money BUT given the comparison for other hotels in the area it is great value for money. I shared with my boyfriend and having both our suitcases out meant there was hardly any space left in the room but we managed.
The bed was a bit uncomfortable- could feel the springs underneath the bed but didn’t stop me falling asleep. Would recommend ear plugs for this stay as there is a fair bit of outside noise.
The hotel staff were chatty and very friendly, I believe the desk was manned 24/7 and they were very approachable. They had drinking water and coffee out for guests
The hotel does not make up/clean your room everyday or replace the towels. They only replace towels upon request - this is a due to their pledge to be more eco friendly. We got fresh towels half way through our stay no problem. I’m sure they would also empty bins on request too.
We tried getting grabs/taxis into the main area by the Towers and found that the traffic was so bad in KL we may as well have walked (about 35-40mins) so if you’re able bodied I would suggest walking instead or getting public transport/train if exploring that area of town.
Great coffee shops and restaurants on the same road!!

The receptionists are super nice and you have to ring a doorbell to access the inside which makes me feel safer. The beds were good, privacy curtains, charging plug (need UK adapter), light, and lockers. 2 en-suite bathrooms per room. You can use their water/tea station to refill for free. Close to Petaling street and the red metro line. One star off because it was not social and they have no recommendation lists which I always find are a nice touch for hostels.

The lady boss and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming! Since our flight arrived in the early hours of the morning, they were extremely thoughtful of our fatigue. They not only allowed us to check in early but also upgraded our room for free without any extra charge.

The room was spotless and comfortable. This heartwarming hospitality gave us a wonderful experience in Kuala Lumpur. Highly recommended!

I had a fantastic stay at this hostel! The rooms are very clean, and the price-quality ratio is excellent. The location is perfect if you enjoy exploring Kuala Lumpur on foot, allowing you to discover many small, lesser-known corners of the city.

I stayed here on the first day of my KL trip and came back on the last day – that already says it all. The reception staff are super friendly, helpful, and speak good English. Highly recommended!

had a pleasant stay here! its within walking distance within masjid jamek, pasar seni, chinatown, pudu sentral, dataran merdeka, etc. theres staff whose available 24h so you dont have to worry if you check in in the middle of the night. staffs are friendly and if you have inquiries beforehand you can contact them online (fast response!).

booked a room with 2 bunk beds, 1 pillow and blanket for each bed. the room itself wasn’t really spacious but enough space to pray. maybe because my room located in the corner the wifi doesn’t work really well. the private bathroom had a water heater, toilet with bidet, 2 towels, and 2in1 shampoo-soap.

they also have water station and free coffee and tea too. will definitely stay here again if i visit KL!

I like this place for the location and cleanliness. But the issue is the noise. Noise isolation is bad. Throughout the night you can hear vehicles from outside. So would not recommend if you are a medium-light sleeper.

I recently spent a few nights at this hostel, which is conveniently located within walking distance of many key attractions in the city. The atmosphere was welcoming and the facilities were exceptionally clean.

The staff, particularly Fizz and Sam, were fantastic! Their upbeat attitudes and willingness to assist made the stay even more enjoyable. They provided me with some excellent recommendations for local dining spots, all of which turned out to be amazing.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely return to this hostel on my next visit. Highly recommend!

Clean room, comfortable bed, perfect location and most of that..... the staff it's really welcome & helpful. Sam gave a city map to get around KL, she explained the easy way for the traveler.
I will come back here again when I visit KL.

Stayed in a private mini room with bunk bed. All very clean (except the AC would need a good cleaning inside)
Worth the money and good for one or two nights. Mattress super comfy, new pillows. Reception staff are super friendly and welcoming, fast check in.
