One of the highlights of our trip was the chance to explore the beautiful beaches known for their friendly nurse sharks. Swimming alongside these gentle creatures was truly an unforgettable experience! The clear waters and vibrant marine life made snorkeling a must-do activity.
We also enjoyed thrilling jet ski rides, racing across the crystal-clear waters and feeling the adrenaline rush. There were plenty of fun activities to keep us entertained, from kayaking to relaxing beach days.
Overall, Vaane Thinadhoo is a hidden paradise that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. We can’t wait to return for another amazing getaway!
The only thing I want to mention is that I had a bad experiences with their excursions. We signed up twice for different tours but both times they were cancelled, even though there were enough people (min 4 people). So we couldn’t attend any of them.
And I will give you an advice - bring beach shoes to protect your feet from corals.
My wife and I recently stayed at Plumeria Maldives, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected based on the images and descriptions on Trip.com.
1. Misleading Room View: The photos on Trip.com showed beautiful sea views, which was a major factor in our decision to book this hotel. However, upon arrival, we were given a room with a wall view, which was very disappointing.
2. Poor Communication and Service: We had planned to go scuba diving and informed the hotel staff to notify us when the guide was available. They failed to do so, and the intercom in our room was not working, making it impossible to communicate with the staff efficiently.
3. Inconvenient Transportation: We requested transportation at 8 o'clock, but it was provided an hour late, at 9 o'clock. The hotel staff pressured us to hire a private boat for an exorbitant cost of around 800 USD.
4. Extra Charges: The hotel charges an additional 3.5% on each transaction, which feels like a hidden fee and a way to scam guests.
Overall, the service was subpar, and the management was unhelpful and unprofessional. Our stay at Plumeria Maldives was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel to others.
The staff there were superb, always happy to help.
Room we stayed in was a positive surprise, it was much better than expected.
Food never let us down, and staff there were also super friendly and efficient.
We have to give special thanks to manager Azeers and Naveen, thank you for your great services which definitely made our stay a memorable one!
