The rooms aren’t bad per se. There’s an AC and the beds are comfortable. Depending on the Block you live in you get different sized kitchens and different sized rooms.
The kitchen isn’t fully equipped and a lot of times the stuff you need is in kitchens in other apartments.
The locks are kind of difficult to manage, especially the bathroom locks. They often lock when you shut the door.
Furthermore there are the bugs. There are some in the bathroom, even cockroaches.

However the staff is very nice. If you need anything they usually get you that stuff. The reception is open 24/7 and even has bug spray. They also open the bathroom doors, when locked from the outside.

Cafeteria is good. Pool good. Family friendly good. There is no silence hour, nor a security guard to calm down the drunks. Need to push them to clean. No privet parking , parking at neighbors recommended.

Okay Listen guys ! I have to say that this place is very nice because the building is very old and lovely. And because the place is quiet as well. I just came here to have a bit rest. It was the perfect place because the pool is very big and I met a guy who is making the best cocktail has I ever tried . It was delicious. #ComidaConCorazon.

Disgusting. Not a safe place to bring a family as advertised. They let anybody stay here. Big busses full of school/ college teenagers. Think party Hostel. Booked through Booking.com under "SC Club Village". We stayed 1 night out of 8 then booked another place in Gozo. So paid twice just to grt out of here! Noise curfew of 11pm that IS NOT enforced. If you want sleep + a safe place to holiday with children this is NOT IT!

I stayed for two nights and had a very unpleasant experience. The room was extremely dirty, with moldy shower curtains and unclean toilets. I was bitten by mosquitoes at night, and the overall environment was very noisy. The setup felt more like a shared apartment, with three beds per room and mixed genders—something that wasn’t clearly stated in the listing.
The neighborhood is surrounded by a kindergarten, a children’s football stadium, and a school, so it’s very loud during the day. At night, people often gather and talk near the windows, making it difficult to sleep. The bus station is about a 5-minute walk away.
Overall, I would only recommend this place if you’re on a very tight budget. The listing claimed to offer slippers, toothpaste, and a toothbrush, but the reception said they didn’t have any. Just something for fellow backpackers to keep in mind.

The staff is kind and polite, but unfortunately, that’s the only positive thing about this place. The room we got was nothing like the pictures
—different layout, missing amenities, and not what we booked. We tried our best to get our money back but nothing could be done even though we were given a completly different room.

The kitchen was half-destroyed with no knives, towels, or cleaning supplies. Some lights didn’t work, and the duvets were so thin we froze all night. The bathroom wasn’t even in the online photos.

After reading other reviews, it’s clear this isn’t a one-time mistake.
