Carlton Hotel in Sliema

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable and the experience was generally very positive.

The only issue I encountered was that the toilet seat in my room was quite dirty when I first checked in. I arrived late and was very tired, so I didn’t report it until the next day. Once I informed the reception, they addressed the problem promptly. By the time I returned to my room later that day, the issue had been completely resolved. I’m not sure whether they thoroughly cleaned it or replaced the toilet seat, but it looked perfectly clean afterward.

I appreciated how quickly the staff responded and took care of the problem. Aside from that initial issue, everything else about the stay was smooth and enjoyable. The hotel is close to public transportation. It’s 4-minute walk from the airport shuttle and there are numerous bus lines within a few second walk from the hotel. I also liked their breakfast. I was there for quite a few days and they changed up their breakfast menu everyday! The breakfast room is on the top floor with a great outdoor view!

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel – the staff were incredibly friendly, and the breakfast was excellent and varied, with the option of eating it on the rooftop terrace – fantastic. The room was clean and tidy, with everything you need. The sea view from the balcony was stunning. A very positive experience, I recommend it.

The sea view was great - really liked having a balcony. The bathroom was spacious. Great location with easy access to public transport and cafes and restaurants. Good value for money in overall - would recommend to others.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was very clean, modern and stylish. Room was very clean and upgraded. Their breakfast options were fairly nice, especially their coffees. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for soft pillows and they provided me with the soft one.

Better than expected 👌One person can lie down in the king-size bed room. 🤭The front desk service attitude is good, the room is cleaned every day, and you can come and go at any time 24 hours a day.
When you need help (such as the phone can't be charged), the front desk will enthusiastically guide you and tell you how to get to the repair point.
