Where to stay in Malta

A solid hotel situated in a very convenient area for getting around. The breakfast wasn’t the most diverse, but the food was tasty and well-prepared. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay, and I’d definitely recommend it for a trip to Malta.

I like this hotel, bc the rooms are clean with sea view balconies. The breakfast is delicious and you can choose from a huge Ranger of foods. The accomodation located in a good place. There is a bus and a ferry station nearby. Also they have a gym, pool and sauna which are also good oppurtunities in case of bad weather. Valletta is very close approx. 30 minutes.

Everything was wonderful. The room was spacious, with a direct sea view, and fully equipped. The breakfast was excellent, and the hotel's location is fantastic, easily accessible from there to most areas of Mata by bus. Most importantly, the reception and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed regarding the check in procedure, no plug near to the bed , I had to take off the kettle to charge my phone, no smart tv no rag in the floor. But the cleaner was ver good and kind. The breakfast buffet wasn’t good less options.

The hotel is of a high level. Clean rooms, nice staff. Receptionist Adarsh was really friendly and kind. We got a welcome drink in the lobby. Pool on the rooftop has a stunning view. Breakfast is very rich and different every day. We were really satisfied.

A unique, wonderful view from the hotel window to the capital Valletta. The service at the hotel is good. The operators are friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, the selection is quite wide. The biggest problem is that the pool is quite far from the hotel. There are also problems with parking at the hotel. But in general, everything is good.

The only good perk is the location which is located right by the ferry port and other companies ferry and the view from my room is amazing. Bad experience, there was no water in the room, we spent the day on a walk and we couldn't even take a shower, the staff didn't give us any option, we had planned to go out for dinner but I couldn't go, with salt water without a shower, the air conditioning lasts the night for ventilation, without bath and without air, chaos, I don't recommend it. The hotel was more like self catering apartments, wouldn’t call it a resort and spa. The indoor pool and spa facilities were up the road in a different building. Booked a one bedroom apartment with sea view expecting like some of the photos, to have a sea view from the bedroom. This wasn't the case. The bedroom was dark & dated. Stayed in self catering apartment. Clean, spacious, great view (7th floor sea view). Reception helpful regarding local buses but instal and usel the tallinja app - we let a bus go that we should have been on because reception didn't mention it and had to wait 45 mins for the next. Parts of the complex looking tired, lifts in particular. Nice shady garden for guests only with tables and chairs.

A nice little hotel. Ultra clean, friendly staff, and relatively quieter than youd expect from the location. You will just need to bring shower gel, hand soap and whatever else as they dont provide them; and the garden would be quite nice if it was nicely cared for. If we were to come back to Paceville (probably wont) we would be happy to stay there again.

Based on the reviews, I didn't expect much, but the location is excellent, and the rooms and cleanliness are great too.

Honestly can’t fault this place. Very good location and I got a beautiful view as kindly requested from my room. The decor is a bit worn however but for the price you can’t complain. This is paceville so expect to hear music in the night but it was perfect for me as I was right next to the strip. Doors are locked at night for safety.

Read a lot of views about rude staff and this was not the case. I feel that staff are being rude to and that when you are respectful you are treated accordingly. What a fantastic small hotel in an amazing old building. The staff were all incredible! Lovely buffet breakfast, and always a bonus when there’s Prosecco included! A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels.

A wonderful boutique hotel in Malta. Such easy access to all the sights and coastline of Valetta. Really friendly and helpful staff, wonderfully decorated. But the best thing is the rooftop terrace, perfect for a glass of wine and just watch the boats pass by. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Honestly dont have a bad thing to say regarding this hotel. The hotel staff were lovely, room cleaned and towels changed every day. Of course it needs a bit of tlc throughout but didnt have any issues with it at all. We were there for a festival so didnt need to spend much time in the room other than to get ready and to sleep. Frank was a wonderful host. He gave us many excellent recommendations for places to see and eat at. We were impressed with every single recommendation. The apartment is well situated within walking distance from the port and with a bus stop very close. We used the bikes at the property and cycled all over Gozo. We took the penthouse apartment in a typical stone built building quirky decor and layout and fabulous views over the harbour. We took breakfast on our private terrace each morning looking out over the water. Staff friendly. Easy access to great restaurants and museums

A quirky old Maltese house. Very clean and comfortable room and bed with lovely harbour views. The roof terrace was lovely but the lighting was all from the floor upwards and made seeing to walk around rather dangerous. Also unable to see to read on the balcony too due to the lighting and no comfy chairs to relax outside.

This property was chosen for access to the airport. It was about 11 euros taxi ride, and very convenient. This is a working port town but a nice walk around the sea with a little beach. The hotel provides beach towels. We enjoyed the restaurant next door but there was one in the hotel and plenty of others surrounding the hotel. The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

Short one night stay. I was pleasantly surprised by the amazing view from my room. The location is superb, right on the beach, very clean room, comfy bed. Highly recommend this hotel in Birzebbuga.

Excellent location, very friendly staff.The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave .It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic. I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in.

Amazing location and friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel that feels run down. The rooms feel dated and tired and the place has seen better days but it’s comfortable for a short stay. The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

Location was good, within minutes of walking from several bus stops with multiple buses. Extremely convenient when visiting Rabat/ Mdina, Mellieħa and Gozo. Room itself was big and well equipped. One of the towels was a bit dirty and some parts were showing its age but other than that the area was generally kept clean. I felt this was extremely worth the price I paid and would certainly stay here again...

Apart from one member of staff the rest of the other staff were excellent they were very helpful curtious polite we couldn't ask for any more. The breakfast was really good, it was plentyful, had a good range of food and the quality was clean and tasty. As a budget hotel it was well worth the money we paid and would recommend to others. We as a family wouldn't hesitate in going back.

Booked again and loved the stay, easy and comfortable spot however I was disappointed at the towel situation cuz it was idk not clean or burnt I guess??there was a brownish mark, other than that I loved it there again since the staff is very helpful

The air con and ventilation are not working and the room is always very humid and there’s always several insects flying around. The breakfast is quite simple but the sausages & bacons & eggs are way too oily. The juice is quite bad but the coffee/chocolate machine is good enough.
